Osteria D'Al Maso In Gavorrano

I'm giving it 5 stars because there aren't 6...SU-BLI-ME! Dinner with the family to celebrate a birthday. They quickly changed our seating from outside to inside, given the temperatures. The waiters were very kind and attentive, and the service was fast. The food was excellent and impeccably presented. We took the "convivial" offer, a fixed-price menu that included 4 appetizers, a first course, a second course, and 3 desserts, a very reasonable price for the quality. It was truly a wonderful evening. Thank you so much, and stay the same. Don't change anything, please...from certain heights of quality, it can only go downhill.

It's a constant reminder every time we return. The venue and service are impeccable. The food quality is amazing. The raw fish and fried fish are perfect. The tuna in a crust and the Maremma steak are excellent. Excellent value for money. We'll be back again.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the setting very pleasant, and the sommelier was highly knowledgeable, multilingual, and very professional! A bit of a hidden gem in Follonica, but absolutely fantastic.

Excellent food, very well-maintained atmosphere...very kind and friendly staff. I highly recommend Maso Ristorante. In the evening, the atmosphere is lovely with relaxing lighting.

Excellent food... excellent atmosphere... excellent hospitality... friendly, helpful staff with excellent knowledge of wines, fish, and the local area. I highly recommend lunch or dinner at Maso.

Nice atmosphere, very good service, we had a really good assortment of appetizers, and an excellent gnocchi dish for the first course. I must say, however, that the second courses were portions sized for an aperitif. I won't comment on the bill because dinner was included.

Partly hidden from the tourist crowds, but I wouldn't really consider that a flaw. A quiet and elegant location with a pleasant outdoor terrace. But what really gets the attention are the carefully crafted and creative dishes, with a strong focus on local produce. The chef creatively and deliciously interprets both seafood and meat dishes in a balanced menu that focuses on just the right number of options. The wine list is noteworthy, and to finish, homemade desserts are small treasures (don't worry, the portions are adequate). Impeccable service, and the restaurant manager carefully explains the dishes, preparing you for the pleasure of tasting them. In short, definitely the right place to treat yourself to an excellent dinner, feeling pampered and with an excellent quality/price ratio. My compliments, truly!!!

We had dinner on Friday evening and it was an exceptional experience. Excellent, high-quality cuisine. Top-quality ingredients and attention to presentation. The staff was also very kind and attentive. Everything was delicious! Recommended!
