I had an amazing experience last year with my family but my parents went back last weekend for their Golden Wedding anniversary and Simona went above and beyond. My parents said they felt like celebrities! I can’t wait to go back when I’m next in Lucca 🥰

07/08/2025: Eating in the oldest tower in Florence, it's quite amazing to touch a stone thay was placed in the 6th century. The restaurant only has 6 tables, so definitely book in advance. All the dishes we had were lovely, i like their raw shrimp, the sole fish and the dessert (peach).

28/07/2025: All the staff were pleasant except for the one we believe was one of the owners. He put us in two rather awkward situations due to the kitchen closing time and the choice of food. It's a shame because the food is reasonable and the rest of the staff was lovely. All the waiters and the other owner were very attentive. Except for this gentleman's manner, the rest was fine.

21/08/2025: The place is very quiet, but it's a shame the wait was over an hour despite the restaurant being half empty.
If you love Neapolitan pizza, I wouldn't recommend this one because it's very thin, cooked in an electric oven and is more of a square.
My least favorite dish was the tiramisu. A classic recipe should be interpreted or modified only if specified on the menu. If I order tiramisu, I expect to eat a dessert made with ladyfingers soaked in coffee and mascarpone cream, not biscuits like Oro Saiwa and cream.
21/08/2025: The appetizer was good, as was the dessert.
The first course, pappardelle with wild boar, was delicious and plentiful. We had a hard time finishing the fillet and tagliata (medium rare) because some parts were a bit hard to chew.
Due to the location, the table shook every time the waiters came by.
Overall, the food was average, but we won't be returning.

05/08/2025: A really nice little place, with soft lighting, just the way I like it, and considering it was a Sunday in August, it wasn't packed, just the way I like it... 😁
The chitarra allo scoglio was very good, and the lamb chops were simply wonderful. The crema catalana was a little too sweet for my taste, but sugar and I had a falling out. Great value, low price, and high quality, congratulations.
05/08/2025: We were here after dinner, so we ordered house wine and cold cuts. We liked the light white wine, but the appetizers were nothing to write home about😁

26/05/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and left happy. From the service to the food, even the glass of wine, was excellent.
We went there a second time. The manager is always friendly and helpful, even when there were some language barriers, and the chef once again prepared delicious dishes.
If it weren't so far from Germany, we would come more often.
23/05/2025: Very good food, nice service. A real hit in our group of friends was the tagliolini with truffles 😋, local red wine and delicious bread with olive oil (served while waiting for the food). Normal prices. 👍

Disappointed by the first course which is not at all copious.
The tiramisu is fabulous and lactose-free: thank you!
The price is a bit excessive but unfortunately everything has become expensive for the customer.
23/03/2025: Sono stata ieri sera, tutto molto buono, e finalmente un ristorante per noi intolleranti al lattosio! Menù molto chiaro, prodotti senza lattosio o naturalmente senza lattosio. Camerieri molto gentili e preparati. Bravi continuate così!

31/07/2025: A tasty experience. The pizza is delicious, with fresh ingredients and a light crust. Plus, there's a beautiful view of the plain, which doesn't hurt at all. Impeccable service, kind and helpful staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom smells wonderful.
