21/07/2025: Estuvimos cenando un sábado que estaba todo abarrotado, encontramos un hueco aqui. El sitio tiene terracita, pequeña, pero bien ubicada. Pizza muy rica y sobre todo el servicio super rápido y muy eficientes y profesionales, para la locura de gente que está allí en esa zona
18/07/2025: Restaurant bien placé, cuisine, italienne antique et excellente très bon service personnel très qualifié et professionnel. Très bon rapport qualité prix un grand merci à Sonia une serveuse très sympathique.

09/11/2025: I went to this place last week for the famous Italian Sunday: a first for me, and what a stroke of luck! The nearly two-kilo steaks were so good that I could honestly think of them as the new love of my life... they melted in my mouth! The head waiter? Professional, fast, and even super friendly. The staff? A perfect team.
A top-notch experience from start to finish. You've officially won me over! ❤️

03/08/2025: Since a friend of mine introduced me to this place six years ago, I've never had a spleen sandwich anywhere else.
€3 for half a loaf.
There's no other place in Palermo with this quality and quantity.
It's a place for "true Palermitans."
It deserves more visibility.
The owner and her children who help her are wonderful and polite people.
It's a pleasure to go and eat a sandwich at "La Buca della Salvazione."

27/11/2025: We went last Saturday for the first time and found the pizza delicious, with a very good and soft dough. The atmosphere was cute and welcoming, with a seaside theme. The staff was friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back and will definitely ask for the fixed deal of your choice of pizza, drink, and cover charge.

14/11/2025: Tables overlooking the sea 🌊 and therefore beautiful.. obviously! 😻 Pretentious service.. that is, I feel like a 'seaside restaurant' but I serve tiny sea urchins and salty mussel soup with tomato extract.. 😅 basically in Palermo dialect: "I'm struggling but I don't have the capacity"... a piece of advice: improve yourself with humility! 🙏

20/11/2025: Good morning, last night we had a chicken 🐔 which was really DELICIOUS, with equally good baked potatoes 🥔, it's a shame that the French fries were left wanting as they were hard, like reheated, and from the day before, and then the mignon, but where was the mignon, 3 balls that I think were supposed to be arancini, but they weren't completely, and a small Rollo with sausage, these were the mignon that I found, too disappointed, elsewhere you can also find good chicken with baked potatoes and fries in the evening, with 10 pieces of mignon, but mignon, even with a €1 difference.

12/11/2025: I bought pasta with sardines, practically without sardines, really bland, and sardine meatballs. They delivered it to my home address and I paid €15 by POS without the receipt details with the prices.
11/10/2025: Super fresh and delicious seafood, friendly staff, and a really cozy, atmospheric place. We got our food to go and enjoyed it right on the beach — perfect combo!

25/10/2025: After a friend's recommendation, I finally tried this place. You should come prepared, because after ordering, you'll be tempted to order all the other dishes you see being brought to other tables. The cuisine is typically Palermitan, varied, and delicious. The service is friendly and casual, making you feel right at home. The prices are affordable. If you're craving the dishes you remember, you have to come here.
18/10/2025: Honestly, we didn't have a good experience. We waited an hour between the appetizer and the pasta. Then we had the pasta with savory broccoli in a pan. My daughter only gave it a fork.

18/07/2025: So, I've been sitting in this shop for an hour and still haven't gotten my food. As a tourist, you're a second-class guest, it seems. I'm invited and hoping for the best meal of my life, since the shop really isn't that busy, so a long wait would be justified. People who came after us are already leaving. I hate Italy.
07/07/2025: Nice restaurant with good service and a nice sea view. All 5 of us agreed that the pizza we were served was the best we have ever eaten👍👍

04/12/2025: Great experience! We tried the seafood risotto, the spaghetti with clams, and the fresh seafood pasta... all carefully prepared dishes, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. Generous portions and beautifully presented. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. You absolutely must try it at least once in your life. Highly recommended. I had also been there a few days earlier to enjoy an excellent wood-fired pizza. What can I say... super excellent pizza. I recommend you try this one as soon as possible.
01/12/2025: The price/quality ratio is really not bad but with friends we agreed that it is better to opt for the à la carte option.

The food and coffee were okay.
So if you can look past the rudeness, it's okay.
At the "Johnny Walker" next door, the coffee isn't as good, but I was treated so kindly there.
Here, they acted like I was an idiot who didn't understand anything.
The barista got yelled at, apparently by the head server or someone who felt they had authority, in front of my face, because there was still lipstick on one cup and I asked for another.
Come on, you don't do that to customers.
Unfortunately, people, this one star is for you!!! Prego!!

17/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside a municipal park.
It should be undergoing a renovation as it's a bit dated.
You have to order when your order is ready; they call you to pick it up at the counter. There's no table service; you get your pizza in a takeout box, plastic cutlery, and that's it.
The pizza is well-made with good toppings.
All in all, if there aren't many frills, it's okay.
03/09/2025: Excellent service, delicious sandwiches, delicious pizza with ancient grains, a variety of cocktails and very good prices.
