12/10/2025: Today is my first time. I was looking for a new place that made gluten-free pizza near my house. I called to make a reservation. When I arrived, the pizzas arrived on time, cooked as requested. The pizzas were excellent and well-topped; I discovered a familiar flavor I hadn't tasted in a long time (even though I know several pizzerias that make good pizza). I give it 4 stars, and I'm saving the fifth because I want to sit at the table and experience the service. Today is Valentine's Day, and as I said, I'm at the table with my wife. As expected, the atmosphere is quiet and familiar. The menu is simple, high-quality, and well-served. Alessia is gracious and very polite. Alessandra is an excellent hostess. So far, so good. I'm sure the evening will end on a high note. P.S. Unfortunately, after some time, I have to admit that something has changed and, after the last time, I really think I will never go again.... 🧐🧐🧐

08/11/2025: Inedible sausage, gone bad, mixed with potatoes that tasted rotten. Avoid like the plague. A horrifying experience.

01/11/2025: -Sicilian tradition without artifice- A Palermo osteria with a friendly atmosphere and home-style cooking at a good price. We started with a prosciutto arancina, well-fried and generously stuffed, perfect for whet the appetite. The squid stuffed with carbonella was the highlight: tender, flavorful, and with that smoky Sicilian touch. The chicken and basil pizza was perfect, and the chicken salad was light and fresh. Friendly service. A quiet place, ideal for experiencing authentic Sicilian flavors without artifice.

09/10/2025: Generous portions Excellent quality I immediately sensed a warm, family atmosphere, so I expected kindness, but the way they treated an elderly person struck me. Not only kind, but almost caring, kind, and affectionate, they called him "Grandpa." It was touching.

19/10/2025: We came here to relax in a nice hotel with a beautiful view and a Michelin star rating. The road resembles a military road. The service was terrible: no one helped with our luggage, so we had to walk back and forth to the parking lot in the rain to get our suitcases. We got soaked, and the promised welcome drink never arrived – we waited half an hour for the bartender. They didn't explain where everything was on the property. The bathroom door wouldn't close at all (hello to newlyweds). There was a mouse running around the room. The hot water in the tap was lukewarm. Overall, even without considering the price of 400+ euros per night, this is the worst service we've experienced in Sicily in two weeks of traveling. It feels like the hotel isn't owned by Italians.

13/10/2025: On the recommendation of a friend, I had lunch at Susafa. I'm afraid it was a poor experience. It was in the outdoor restaurant whose canopy was a mesh with holes. When it began to rain, all the diners got wet. No umbrellas were provided. The chefs & waitresses stayed under their covered area & instructed the diners to go to the main dining room. In the dining room, no towels were provided but the diners were told that only the snack menu was available. In fact, only one item (a type of pasty) was being served. On asking for the bill, the first waitress took some time before telling me wasn't able to give it to me. All rather amateurish.

04/11/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant last night with my family. We weren't familiar with it, but we took advantage of a discount with The Fork and booked. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location was very elegant... We ate wonderfully, with attentive and meticulous service. We enjoyed their warm bread with olive oil and their complimentary post-dinner cookies. There were eight of us and we ordered a lot: four appetizers, pizzas, and hamburgers, dessert for everyone, beer, Coke, and water. The bill was slightly higher than average, but it was in proportion to the delicious food and the attentive and thoughtful service. High marks for the apple strudel and the panettone with vanilla ice cream. I recommend this place.

25/10/2025: The appetizer batter was too oily, masking the sage that should have been the star. The pasta was very good, carbonara with black truffle. The balance of flavors was excellent. The dessert, crème brûlée, was balanced, but not satisfied with the cane sugar melted by the blowtorch on top. Friendly and courteous service, excellent availability. Good value for money.

23/08/2025: We sat down at 8:00 PM and at 9:30 PM we still had to eat. People who arrived after us ate and left before we could even eat. Our table was clearly neglected as no adults were sitting with us. Terrible service. I hope you get into trouble and spend all the money you earn on failed medications.

23/08/2025: very slow, we waited more than 30 minutes to order and more than an hour and a half to eat.. and we only ordered sandwiches.. the only good thing is the waitress who is quite nice, the rest I recommend not to come

11/10/2025: Even though I've eaten here several times, I've never had a particularly good meal. The staff is not very attentive.

09/10/2025: Good morning, Today I ordered a decaf coffee at your place, but I believe I was mistakenly served a regular coffee. Unfortunately, I'm very sensitive to caffeine and had a strong physical reaction (tachycardia, difficulty breathing, tremors). I know mistakes can happen, but I wanted to let you know because for some people, the difference between regular and decaf coffee is really important for health reasons. 20/09/2025: I tried the calzone two years ago, and this year, when I returned to Italy, I tried it again and brought my family along. We had hot appetizers and pizzas, all excellent. The staff were welcoming and warm. A special thanks to the owner and the waitress Debora, who, among other things, also has a wonderful daughter ❤️
