The small square in front of San Francesco is wonderful for a cozy dinner, unfortunately the "service" was not acceptable. When we arrived, we waited forever to order, while at least three service staff were busy smoking and chatting, and at the end they started putting things together while we were still eating. In the end, the chairs under us were almost taken away, or at least the two that weren't used at our table were put away. You feel really welcome there. However, the food was very good.

Antica Rosticceria di Palermo in the historic center. Enjoying arancini and panelle sitting at the tables in Piazza San Francesco on a warm spring evening is a unique experience.

Waiters are not very attentive, they talk too much among themselves and pay little attention to customers. On the other hand, the food is excellent, go there and you won't regret it

A fantastic location, a nice place to sit outside. The service is ok and fast. We, naive (as we are), ordered a selection of focaccias. At some point we asked ourselves what the filling was made of and translated the menu 😉 Some of our friends lost their appetite. The filling consisted of lungs and spleen. Very traditional food that you definitely have to try.

I took the sfincione which was very good, panelle and arancinette, in my opinion some of the best in the city. I didn't try the spleen sandwich but it was tempting. Compliments

04/01/2024: I recommend everyone to try the Qcinu gourmet rotisserie located in the center area, everything is very good, among other things, freshly baked, a real pleasure, excellent quality products, a welcoming, well-kept place and friendly staff.
