17/08/2025: Let me start by saying that my wife and I, residents of Veneto, searched online for a Sicilian restaurant with clear seafood culinary traditions. In fact, amidst an endless sea of offers and reviews online, we decided to trust in "lady luck," seeing our chosen restaurant for the first time only on the day of our celebration. 🤞 Therefore, without prejudice or influence from reviews posted by cybernauts, last night we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Ristorante Costa Corsara, located at Viale Marino, 29 – Isola delle Femmine, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail, a location with a maritime flavor and aroma that alone is worth the evening. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, perfect for a special occasion. The staff was extremely kind, attentive but never intrusive, making us feel pampered from start to finish. We chose a seafood dinner, and every course was a true delight: incredibly fresh appetizers, flavorful first courses, and perfectly cooked and presented second courses. All accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the waiter, which proved to be a perfect choice. The anniversary cake was carefully presented and complemented by themed details, thus helping to make our evening even more special. A truly captivating gastronomic experience: impeccable quality, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone seeking authentic seafood cuisine and a warm welcome. 05/09/2025: Delicious artisanal croissants (the Pan Suisse is a delight), excellent pastries (the desserts with "gelo di melone" are superb). I tried their ice cream cake for an occasion with various flavors (the hazelnut gelato is top notch). The staff is always friendly. The place is clean and welcoming.

While some people living locally complained about the price, I feel cost of living increased everywhere, including the price of raw material, so I would expect also their products to have a price increase depending on the product you purchase. I feel the quality is there and the price was worth it. The staff was OK with me.

25/10/2025: In Palermo to be with my brother who's hospitalized, I decided to treat myself to a little break... and I discovered Davide's Fried Pizza. I had the Iblea, with Ragusano cheese, olives, and salami cut into small chunks like cracklings: a spectacle! 🤤 Light yet flavorful dough, quality ingredients, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the passion and care in every bite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Congratulations, Davide, I'm the guy you recommended the aforementioned pizza to... 5 well-deserved stars! Next time, I'll be sure to try your other delicacies. 🍕🔥👏

05/10/2025: The table hadn't been cleaned; it had a sticky film. We waited a bit for the appetizer, and the pasta was flavorless and undercooked. It's a shame; no one made any effort to rectify the situation. We were dissatisfied.

26/08/2025: The London Cafe is inevitably a landmark in an area of ​​Bagheria with few bars and restaurants. Here, you can find everything from coffee to ice cream, pastries, and pizzerias, not to mention the lunch specials for those who prefer to eat out. The cafeteria offers excellent pizzas, calzones, and truly gigantic arancini. The cafeteria slices with prosciutto crudo are a must-try. The cafeteria could use some renovation, as even though it's new, it would benefit from a renovation. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is difficult when school is in session. There is a pharmacy and a supermarket nearby.

25/08/2025: A very friendly, family-run Italian trattoria. It was our first time there, and we received a very warm welcome from the family. The meal was very good and the value for money was excellent! I definitely recommend it!

15/08/2025: We only went for a puddle at the table. The dough wasn't bad, but the rest was poor quality. I ordered pizza with buffalo mozzarella. I asked first if it was just buffalo mozzarella or a mix of mozzarella and something else. The waiter assured me it was just buffalo mozzarella. It was a completely different kind of cheese. I complained about it to two different waiters, but neither one mentioned it. To continue, the cured meats were very salty and the fresh mushrooms were invisible. However, there was one high-quality item... the bill was in line with the gourmet pizzas you get at other places. Too bad, we were disappointed because it's close to home and we would have gone there again. Not recommended

04/06/2025: Se si chiede al banco di un qualsiasi ortofrutta “ha un meloncino, maturo per favore?” mi aspetto solo una di tre risposte: “sì”, “no” “o “non sono in grado di assicurarglielo”. Se a rispondere “sì” è il banco dell’ortofrutta di Prezzemolo e Vitale Mondello e non uno qualsiasi, bisogna fidarsi. Eppure io, avendo ospiti a cena con cui non volevo rischiare, ho insistito: “guardi che lo consumo subito…” ricevendone una ulteriore assicurazione. Risultato: il meloncino era “cucuzza”, come dicono in Sicilia. L’unico dubbio: al banco ortofrutta del negozio forse più blasonato di Palermo c’era una persona poco competente, o il poveretto sapeva benissimo cosa mi stava vendendo, ma aveva disposizioni di vendere anche a costo di dare informazioni sbagliate?

24/05/2025: Siamo stati in quello di via La Farina. Gastronomia con piatti bellissimi in pratica c’è tutta la cucina palermitana nelle vetrine Grande varietà di formaggi e di vini Sicuramente un negozio eccellente dove fare spesa. Discorso un po’ diverso se ci si mangia. La mia pasta (anellini) al forno è arrivata fredda. Sfincione buono ma non caldo Servizio lento
