30/04/2025: What can I say, an experience to remember and if we return to Palermo my stop will definitely be here again, excellent zero km food so everything fresh, wonderful view facing the sea, professionalism and friendliness are the key words, we felt pampered throughout the lunch, a special word goes to Irene in addition to the excellent food I think it is the strong point of this restaurant, compliments indeed

25/04/2025: Very bad experience, à la carte menu, but with a lack of everything, pasta with clams without clams, terrible service and excessive prices, for the phantom courses, any of our requests were not accommodated in the slightest such as (squid ink without cuttlefish, fresh fish from the freezer, plastic coffee serving glasses, no assortment) I will never return!

15/04/2025: In the past few weeks, I am giving to chat gpt to write this for me. But this time I am doing it myself. It was so good! Really if you are into slow food, great wine, service that is so good to have a sense for good serving rhythm - this is the place. Amazing wine list, if you are a wine biblist, or great pairing recommendation if u r not. And “Michelin surprises” on their way makes this place really a wet dream od a hedonist. I tried quail and a cod with chocolate desert paired with local sweet wine. Great suggestion for the desert as well. And with the dishes I took a red suggestion from the waiter-which was A+. To summarize, restaurants have their ups and downs. Not sure if this is an up for them. But if I ever come back to Palermo, I would definitely visit it again!

However, despite a fairly recent restoration, it would seem as if the restoration was managed by a person/s not accustomed to purely hotel needs but closer to private residential structures. 21/09/2024: Se passi da Ustica devi provarlo. Locale unico vista mare. Pesce cucinato bene. Da segnalare tra gli antipasti polpettine di pesce in agrodolce e il polpo grigliato su vellutata di patate. Menu con una scelta limitata ma tutto ricercato e di ottima qualità. Consigliato.

07/04/2025: We came without reservations and we were seated in 10-15min. That was very pleasant surprise considering we were a group of six people. Meat bord for two persons was top notch. Some greens were served right next to the Italian sausages and they’ve stolen my heart 🤩👌🏻 Cannoli OMG You must leave some room for THE CANNOLI

09/04/2025: My opinion? I think the price-performance ratio is very bad, I'm paying for a service that isn't even mentioned. Why? I would also have liked us as a group to be told directly that payment is only possible in cash. The portion was so small, it could have been a dessert :( Unfortunately I can't recommend this to you. Ps. You took the contents out of a pesto jar. I make it at home and it still tastes better :)

09/04/2025: I went there because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, these were deceptive. I couldn't eat the noodles - lukewarm, hard and dry. It reminded me of noodles that had been left in the air for several hours. Wasted money :( I paid €7 for the pasta plus €2 for questionable service.

02/04/2025: I am correcting the review after returning to this pizzeria. Given the response of the staff, whom I thank, I confirm that it was not just a "bad" day, but perhaps an entire period. As a customer, I don't give up after just one bad experience, but several. After a few months' break I returned as a regular customer, I increased the food to 5 stars because it remains one of the best pizzerias in the city. I don't know about mortadella because I avoid it regardless, but I'm confident and maybe it's just my taste. I remain a customer and continue to recommend Viziosi to many people. (Old review to follow) I'm sorry to have to abandon my favorite pizzeria of the last two or three years. I have recommended this pizzeria to a myriad of people and have always been thanked. Unfortunately I don't understand the reason, maybe a change of staff or something else, but the quality has really dropped in my opinion. I didn't just have one bad experience, I went most weeks so I can say that the unwelcome experiences happened on the last handful of occasions, which is why I ruled it out that it could be a problem of that single day. Something has changed. The round pizza with high edges has become uneven, with high, soft edges on one side and low, crunchy edges on the other. Tomato in the center that becomes dry and almost non-existent near the edges. Fried Montanarine arrived very cold at the table, cold frying was unforgivable. I think all this is more a problem of "hands" than of the quality of the product, which remains excellent. But what's really wrong, and here we're talking about products, is mortadella. I tried it several times on pizzas, on montanarine, and nothing. I don't want to question the quality of the product, I don't know if it's poorly kept, near heat sources, I don't know, but that mortadella has an old taste, as if it were almost spoiled. I asked and was recommended freshness, but in any case it remains the only mortadella in this city that is "inedible" for my perhaps too sensitive palate. I would be hypocritical to give less than 3 stars, it is still an excellent pizzeria, but I am a regular customer who would have given even 6 stars if there had been the possibility, and who will now change his habits.
