Been coming to this bar since September even in winter when the weather was good. I can say without doubt that this is the best bar in mondello. They have the best cornetti and the staff is very welcoming and professional and it's just in front of the sea

The apostle fingers, tried on site, were delicious! Their freshness deserves a mention: I took some home, and after a few days, they were still absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Since 1950, Scimone has been delighting the taste buds of Mondello. Here, you simply must try the Iris, a Sicilian pastry speciality—a kind of breaded brioche filled with ricotta. The seafood salads and Polpo alla Palermitana are also delicious, fresh and reasonably priced.

Very nice location, the service isn't the best, and when making coffee, don't put your fingers on the rim of the cup, let alone the teaspoons taken from the wide end. Too bad.

The result is 4 stars for the desserts (apostle's fingers) and two stars for the ice cream, the latter to be avoided even if it looks good.

14/04/2026: A lovely and very quiet hotel right in the city center. We had a simply furnished room and the breakfast was adequate. The building itself is very nice and the staff was friendly. Great location.

17/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times and it's always been an excellent choice! The menu is varied, the food is excellent, and the portions are generous. The service is professional, the wine list is extensive, and the atmosphere is lovely. A special thanks to Nicolò, who was discreet and professional, and who served us with courtesy, kindness, and friendliness.
