04/09/2025: We ordered both chicken with potatoes and rotisserie and pizzas. The service was prompt and the food was truly excellent! A wonderful discovery!

12/10/2025: Very well-stocked restaurant, pastry shop, market, fishmonger, and butcher, as well as a winery, beer bar, and all other businesses. Wide selection of items, dishes, drinks, entrees, etc., all top-notch. The only drawback is the high prices and poor value for money.
11/10/2025: Had lunch at Giacalone with meat, friendly staff but, since there was not even any confusion, (in total at that time we were less than 10 people) the rolls were raw, the breaded cheese was hard and cold

Very nice location, cozy place, just steps from the sea:
5 stars.
When it was time to pay, three of us showed up at the cashier:
- Good evening, could you please divide the total (€137) by three? (So we can each pay with our own debit card)
- Yes, of course.... So... (calculator in hand)... 137 divided by 3... That's 45.66... Let's make it 46.
We paid €46 each by debit card...
1 star!
12/09/2025: Neapolitan-style pizza, better than in Naples. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pasta, seafood, and fish were delicious. The price/quality ratio was excellent! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!

30/06/2025: In zona centrale, entriamo per puro caso, ambiente accogliente, accolti un sorriso, prendiamo due pizze (dai nomi legati alla tradizione letterale sicula). Che dire: fantastiche. Ottima farcitura, impasto soffice e leggero (sinonimo di una adeguata lievitazione), leggera alveatura, cornice elastica e pronta al ritorno. Veramente buone, complimenti. Servizio rapido, prezzi nella norma. Bellissima esperienza.

09/06/2025: Tenía un par de tarrinas de Gelato, una de fresa y otra de avellana. La lata es muy grande y el helado es excelente
6 euros por dos bañeras, gran relación calidad-precio. Puedes sentarte afuera y disfrutar de tu helado mientras la gente mira

29/08/2025: We lived in Palermo for 7 months and we came to eat here almost every week.
The food is excellent and cooked with care, the ambiance feels like home.
Might be a little wait (as we usually order a lot of dishes) but they serve it hot for you.
Highly recommended!!
29/08/2025: This place felt like being at your long lost Filipino home. They make you feel welcome and comfortable whilst you are there enjoying a drink and their authentic Filipino food which is delicious. Highly recommend going here if you like Filipino food!

05/10/2025: A small place that might need some attention, with a poorly designed menu, both graphically and in substance. Vegetarian options only, but defrosted between dishes. Perhaps more suitable for a vegetarian aperitif.
23/09/2025: We waited an hour and a half for two pizzas, and half the drinks never arrived. The pizza was good.

18/09/2025: Fortunately, the quality of the food quickly makes up for the coldness of the waiters, who give the impression of not enjoying their work.
If the well-seasoned grilled octopus had been served with a little olive oil-infused mashed potatoes, it wouldn't have been too much.
On the other hand, it was a real treat for the taste buds: grandma's busiata.

Fast and pleasant service.
We were offered a digestif at the end of the meal.
One small drawback with the appetizers: there's not much choice.

01/10/2025: We couldn't even order; the waiters ignored us despite our numerous attempts to get their attention. After a twenty-minute wait, here I am; I'm not giving the food any stars because we weren't able to eat.
30/09/2025: We arrived at 8pm and they served us an appetizer of Arancini and chips and we ate the sandwiches we had previously ordered. At 10pm the prices were exaggerated and the food was not above average. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
