Kursaal Tonnara In Palermo

Exceptional location, right by the sea in the old tuna factory. Excellent quality ingredients and a beautiful setting, but unfortunately, many details were lacking: no wine list, the wait staff lacked knowledge of the wines offered (and their prices) (we had to get up and go check the fridge ourselves), no ice bucket for the wine, and both doors to the men's restroom were broken. Several dishes arrived poorly: a runny cacio e pepe (with shrimp tartare), a pasta with pistachio pesto, stracciatella, and inexplicably red shrimp tartare (pistachios were missing), and spaghetti with sea urchins and overcooked clams. The other two dishes and the appetizers were excellent. But above all, the heat... Don't plan on having air conditioning, a fan, a hand fan, anything, when it's 34 degrees outside in August... By the end of the evening, we were all soaked :( The price was right for the quality, but unfortunately not for the experience of the evening.

Recommended venue for a summer birthday party

Deliceous food, very good quality and the location is lovely, thank god because...The service was VERY poor, lack of care, litterally the couldn't care less about our presence. The waiter was always on his phone, he did even order the wrong main for my girlfriend.

We celebrated my daughter's eighteenth birthday on Saturday at this wonderful venue, and the experience was simply extraordinary. Beyond the excellent food and beautiful location, what made the evening truly unforgettable was the human touch. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming: they blended in with us as if they were guests, making us feel at home. Even though they didn't know us before booking, a truly empathetic relationship was established. Special thanks go to Gioacchino. He guided us every step of the way with rare empathy, advising us on the menu and the room's decor. Throughout the evening, he and the rest of the staff were always attentive, ensuring everything was flawless. It's rare to find professionals so capable and, at the same time, so full of human warmth. Highly recommended for any event!

Very nice location Delicious pizza

We came here for our daughter's graduation. We were immediately greeted by the restaurant manager in a very friendly manner. The after-dinner buffet was excellent, and the staff was helpful. Special praise goes to Mr. Gioacchino, who managed the entire evening with such professionalism, leaving all the guests happy, including us.

Stunning location, beautifully prepared Sicilian dishes, and the pizza... oh well. Highly recommended!!!

Impeccable location, the restaurant is very elegant and at the same time welcoming. Excellent welcome also from the waiting staff ready to satisfy every need with a smile. We dined on the platform with a magical atmosphere overlooking the sea. We ordered a trio of delicious tartare of the day and the freshest fish, and a fish first course, inebriating flavor with the freshest ingredients, a cut of veal Tomawak, truly delicious. We will definitely be back! Congratulations!
