20/07/2025: We had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were kind and attentive, and the food… absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they do. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience!

15/07/2025: Go to this place and enjoy exquisit meal that has all characteristics of fine dining but for the reasonable price. Atmosphere is perfect, nothing over the top but very elegant, location is perfect too, staff superkind and the food is awsome. Try their take on street food as a starter, fish of the day and at least a glass of good sciilian wine. Deserts are on point too. Just ask the stuff, they'll recommend and you won't be dissapointed. My man and I chose this place as our last dinner before we travel back home, and we were so happy we did.

10/07/2025: Our experience: If you are in Palermo for a few hours, avoid this place. We were seated immediately, but food arrived after almost an hour. Drink after half an hour. Apparently, our drink order was given to someone else. When we ordered additional drinks, guy took our half-full glasses and left. Food didn't taste so good. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but without flavour.

06/07/2025: The pasta with sardines and tuna is excellent - the small outdoor area is romantic (and quiet despite being on the road) - impeccable and discreet service

24/05/2025: On the occasion of the Bersaglieri National Gathering, we went from Pordenone to Marsala. We enjoyed the hospitality, the food, the wine that we received at Bottega del Carmine! Not only food, wine and service but also a lot of availability! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

23/05/2025: Hermoso jardín, excelente vino, platos maravillosos, servicio atento. No había un principal vegetariano, pero el primero y el segundo eran maravillosos, y más que llenos. Y el postre... tan bueno.

02/06/2025: If you love the rock atmosphere, this place is a real find! The design is very original and refined, creating a unique atmosphere. I really appreciated the musical selection that perfectly accompanies the evening. The food is excellent, with dishes that surprise for taste and quality, as in the attached photo (cavatelli alla norma, with fried aubergines and salted ricotta). It's true, the prices are a little above average, but the overall experience and what is offered make the quality-price ratio honest and it's really worth it. I would gladly go back!"

02/07/2025: Yesterday I had lunch at Romanella. Disappointment. They basically put bechamel sauce on almost every piece. Honestly, I expected much more.

28/06/2025: Everything was delicious, as a Sicilian and Catanese I feel like complimenting you for everything, the arancina was delicious and the ragù was the best I ate in Palermo, other pieces were delicious, breakfast was also delicious with fresh ricotta, the same for the cannoli, delicious in everything both in the crunchiness and the ricotta that you can feel is of excellent quality. Top if I ever go back to beautiful Palermo I will definitely come back

04/06/2025: An experience that is nothing short of sublime. The place is very elegant and comfortable. Food of exceptional quality. First courses with very original combinations and generous portions. But what makes the difference is the service: friendly and helpful staff that always makes the customer feel at the center. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

29/05/2025: Refined restaurant in an elegant and quiet environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the traditional Catania dishes satisfy first the eye and then the palate. The bill is adequate for the quality of the service and the menu. Recommended.

06/07/2025: We went up from Alcamo to taste the cannolo, the trip is worth it. Fragrant shell and ricotta worked in an excellent way, enriched with chocolate chips. One of the best ever eaten

29/05/2025: Was looking for somewhere handy to eat and this is right on the main square, which is not always a good sign in a tourist area. However it soon filled up with locals who obviously knew the staff so that was reassuring. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. One waiter seemed to be a trainee, which slowed things down a bit. It didn’t seem possible to order wine by the glass, but that’s probably down to my lack of Italian

25/06/2025: Beautiful restaurant. Very quiet. The food was very good, as was the service. Highlight: the grotto below where the river flows. One of the few places where you can see Catania underground.
