13/06/2025: We went to Ammucca as soon as we arrived in Syracuse, I can only confirm the excellent reviews, excellent quality meat. Fabio and his wife are an added value, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Don't have any doubts....to try. We will definitely be back.

03/06/2025: The best food we had while travelling (in general)! The taste was incredible! The place was small and cosy, not noisy and the person who took care of us was very nice!! 12 out of 10!!

29/05/2025: We had a great time today! The wine selection (2 rosé, 2 red) was excellent, and the waiter provided excellent presentations, including information about the wines, the growing regions, and the grape varieties used. The paninis were fresh and well-filled.

21/05/2025: Fantastic food with great wines! We shared several dishes and everything we got was great: from the focaccia with panchette and burrata, to the bruschettas and orange salad with anchovies. You might just walk past it, but don't! Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

26/04/2025: We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

26/06/2025: A pleasant surprise in the heart of Syracuse. At first glance, it may be disconcerting, as it's also an accessories boutique with precious pieces, but just sit down to discover a charming corner where elegance permeates every detail. The decor is carefully curated, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. The service is like no other: attentive, friendly, and with a natural class that elevates the entire experience. The cuisine is no slouch either. We shared a fresh salad and a perfectly cooked grilled Orata with vegetables. Dessert—a house specialty whose name we've forgotten—was a sweet and unforgettable ending. We washed down dinner with a good Prosecco, toasting to a special evening and a perfect vacation. Without a doubt, the icing on the cake for our trip to Sicily. A must-do.

11/06/2025: Stumbled on this little gem by accident walking back to my accommodation on a quiet weeknight. The staff were amazing, so patient and helpful. My meal (as recommended by the staff) was delicious and the chilled rosato equally so. Had I not been leaving Syracuse the following day, I would definitely have returned.

21/05/2025: A la caza de una novela de lectura inglesa y acuña oro pasando y se topó con este acogedor pub. Gran personal amable, excelente música de los 80 y sillas cómodas. Compré un libro, me tomé un Guinness mientras paseaba la tarde hasta la hora de la cena.

30/05/2025: Small place with a lot of choice (we were looking for a mix of gastronomy and we found it). Everything was delicious, and the service was very kind. Excellent value for money (for two we paid 25 euros for a mix of meat and vegetables accompanied by two glasses of wine).

08/06/2025: My husband and I always order the pizza sandwich or pizza and we are honestly satisfied, the service is impeccable because they never delay in delivery, the ingredients are fresh and above all we never complain about any kind of discomfort after eating their goodness. Nothing to say ... first of all the taste and deliciousness. In the summer especially sometimes we go to eat there because the location is welcoming and we really appreciate the area with the tables outside. The guys work with commitment and sacrifice, that's why after about and years that we have been customers I finally decided to review them (and sorry for the delay!)

17/06/2025: Excellent food based on well-prepared fresh fish. The only things that stand out are the small tables and the hot air from the restaurant's extractor fans. The dishes are beautifully presented, but they don't fit on the tables, and since there's no space on the street, it feels like you're sharing a table with the rest of the diners. Still, it was worth the wait because everything was so good, especially the lemon mussel sauce.

16/06/2025: We went there twice for dinner. The restaurant is run by young, very friendly, dedicated, and service-oriented people. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We immediately felt at home. We had caponata for starters (one classic Sicilian and one with swordfish). Swordfish was the main course. The next day, we had Sicilian caponata, spaghetti nero di seppia, and octopus arrosto. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Excellent value for money. We would gladly come back.
