16/01/2025: Excellent ice cream and an enviable variety of delicious granitas

12/01/2025: Yoghi in Palermo impressed us! For the first time we tried ice cream in a brioche bun - and I have to say, it was a real experience. The warm, soft bun pairs perfectly with the creamy and flavorful ice cream, creating a combination that's hard to resist. The ice cream is fantastic, with a wide variety of flavors and generous portions. The prices are more than fair, and the friendliness of the staff makes the experience even better - their smiles and recommendations further enhanced our visit. Yoghi is definitely a must in Palermo. We can't wait to come back!

05/04/2025: Heerlijk gegeten. Personeel spreekt goed Engels en ook duidelijke menukaart in het engels. Buiten gezeten. Het terras is afgezet met planten erom heen en dat geeft een knus gevoel. Vriendelijk personeel, niet opdringerig. We hadden niet gereserveerd maar ze zochten toch een fijne plek voor ons. Gewoon klasse. Wij zouden nog eens terug gaan.

04/04/2025: Wir haben aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Eine übersichtliche Karte mit bodenständigen, typischen Gerichten und sehr ehrlichen Preisen. Man setzt hier auf Qualität und nicht auf Masse. Unsere ausgesuchten Speisen bestätigten dies noch einmal ganz deutlich. Alles frisch und in ausgezeichneter Qualität. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich zudem den sehr professionellen jedoch nicht steifen Service. Die Einrichtung ist eine gelungene Variante neu interpretierter, typisch klassischer, italienischer Trattoria mit ordentlicher Tischdecke sowie Stoffserviette ( juchuuu!) dafür ohne kitschigem Tinnef. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

11/01/2025: Su consiglio dell'host del resort in cui alloggiamo ci siamo diretti verso questo locale... Le nostre esperienze passate, non proprio positive, ci hanno insegnato/consigliato un primo approccio guardingo e sospettoso! Arrivati dinnanzi il locale ci siamo trovati un ristorantino (così come amano definirsi) molto intimo, elegante e (cosa nn da poco) lontano dalla bolgia turistica che affollano le vie centrali di San Vito anche in questo settembre nn proprio dei migliori. Seduti ci siamo subito resi conto dell'affabilità del personale e della proprietaria. Avendo le idee abbastanza chiare su cosa assaggiare abbiamo ordinato quasi subito Cous Cous di pesce e una Carbonara di mare. Il mio essere romano "integralista" mi ha fatto storcere il naso nel leggere Carbonara di mare ma tant'è che ho soprasseduto e l'ho ordinata. Per non tirarla troppo per le lunghe... Piatti eccezionali, ricercati e non affatto miserrimi per le quantità! Un plauso a tutto lo staff e al cuoco! P.S. abbiamo avuto modo, nella stessa sera, di consigliare la Carbonara ad un altro concittadino scettico... Chissà se sarà rimasto entusiasta come noi 😅?!? Complimenti vivissimi. P.P.S. Non allego alcuna foto... Non ne abbiamo fatte... Nn abbiamo fatto in tempo 😋

13/03/2025: Cozy pizzeria in the heart of Nicolosi, with a warm and familiar atmosphere. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the best from the menu. The pizza has a light and fragrant dough, with fresh, quality ingredients. The meat specialties and typical Sicilian appetizers are also excellent. The restaurant has an air-conditioned internal room and a large terrace overlooking the central square, perfect for summer evenings. Fast service and honest prices. Absolutely a must try for anyone visiting Nicolosi! I will definitely go back.

13/03/2025: Wir haben das Lokal zufällig entdeckt, und waren vom Ambiente, der Qualität und Auswahl begeistert. Die verschiedenen Bruschette waren fantasiereich und aufwändig belegt. Die Pizzen waren schmackhaft aus dem Holzofen, der Service sehr angenehm und schnell.Gerne wieder!!

09/02/2025: We stumbled upon this place by accident and although it was closing in an hour, Pepe made sure to make it the best hour ever! He told us the story of each wine we ordered and brought us tapas after tapas only based on what we said we ate. We never saw a menu and it was perfect! Pepe really went above and beyond and made that evening the best we had in Italy. Thank you, Pepe! :)

26/03/2025: Beautiful place, decorated with so much taste for details and love for the local tradition. The food is so great that the only problem is too choose what to eat. Service also great. If yuo like sea food, definitlly s place to wisit.

20/01/2025: Our first lunch as soon as we arrived in Palermo, a pleasure! Crocché bread and panelle, arancina with ham and cheese, rascature, goodness and kindness, don't miss to stop by here if you're nearby!

26/12/2024: The arancini meat is plentiful and delicious. 1.5 euros of happiness. The owner is very kind. A place I want to come to every morning.

12/04/2025: Fish restaurant overlooking the sea, friendly and helpful staff, fresh and quality fish. They accommodated all our requests for various allergies quickly and made sure we all ate together. Thanks to the owner Mr. Alfio and all his staff.

08/04/2025: Stopped at this wonderful restaurant on the way to the airport from Taormina, and we were so glad we did. Some of the best food we had in Sicily. Exceptionally fresh seafood prepared with so much care.

13/04/2025: We chose the set menu. It seems like a good deal, because the dishes on the menu are quite pricey. There was only one of the starters that we really liked. With the second dish we found the risotto insufficiently seasoned. Pasta pesto was ok. There was little flexibility from the staff (we asked for 1 gin and tonic because someone has a wine allergy, but this was not possible). For us, this restaurant was a disappointment in terms of price/quality.

11/04/2025: I do not recommend the octopus with citronette.. also to the manager, remove it from the menu.. they arrive with 4 tentacles in number and also duritti, 4 euros per tentacle.. 4!! As it arrived I photographed it. Then you don't understand why you order an oyster and you get an oyster, you order a sea bream and you get a sea bream... but if you order an octopus you only get 4 pieces. I have to add this to the black book of unwritten rules of fish restaurants. I also advise against the mixed grill, I do it better at home and the red prawns.. They remain red.... Leave them all. Bruschetta and cod of the day are ok.

17/03/2025: Consigliatoci da un amico abbiamo raggiunto questo ristorante quasi ai piedi del Castello di Erice . Location accogliente, molto calda . Servizio ottimo, e Francesco /Ciccio ci ha deliziato con interessanti e generose spiegazioni di tecniche culinarie e tradizioni Ericine . Ottima la carne, Busiate con broccoli "arriminati" abbondanti e gustose! selezione di antipastini della casa non ci ha deluso ! Prezzo buono! ringraziamo il nostro amico che ci ha ben consigliato. alla prossima!
