29/03/2024: We went on March 28th for lunch, the owner welcomed us, a very kind and nice person. We tried the busiate with red prawn which according to the owner is the strong dish, and a mixed fry. Both courses were excellent, as were the homemade desserts offered. We were fully satisfied and if we pass through Castellammare again we will definitely stop here. Recommended restaurant, you will not be disappointed

02/04/2024: This business has been open for 40 years and makes artisanal granitas. I'm from Naples and the owner recommended excellent mulberry granita. I also tried the amazing almond granita!! Don't just eat lemons and oranges but also listen to what the owners of the place recommend, thank you, we will definitely be back! PALERMO IN THE HEART!

02/04/2024: I think that good intentions should be rewarded, which is why I rate this place positively, one of the very few vegan alternatives in the city. In any case, I struggle to tolerate the lack of sincerity in the face of the collaborator's statement "everything you see here, vegan, we make", when, in reality, the products come from the Forno D'Asolo in Treviso and are frozen... you can feel that they are, and there is nothing wrong with admitting it, I know very well that there is still little demand in the south. I've been vegan for a while, I live in the north, I travel and I know those croissants, as well as their fillings, some unmistakable (e.g. raspberry and elderberry, figs and almonds), precisely because that bakery distributes most of the bars everywhere in Italy. You can count on the fingers of one hand the pastry shops and bars that produce vegan desserts with their own hands, but you can definitely feel the difference. I feel like responding to the owner regarding a comment he made to a user who expressed doubts about the cost of his ice cream: in Milan, my city of origin and where I live, a small cup or cone with 2 flavors costs from 3, €50 to €4 (with ice cream inside, eh!), and personally I'm happy to spend it if the ice cream is good, even more so if it's vegan :) it's absolutely not true that the food here isn't as good as that of the south , fueling this rift that we have carried with us for too long... we are all citizens of a beautiful country. In my 'metropolis' there are amazing vegan ice cream shops, which make delicious artisanal ice cream and many different flavours, just as there are some in Catania too. There are pastry shops that use excellent raw materials to produce their own vegan croissants, while not offering frozen products and trying to be proactive. I hope this feedback can stimulate you to try producing your own croissants with the wonderful raw materials of your land.

22/03/2024: A place that deserves to be known! We dined at Single as a couple and were amazed by their cuisine! Friendly, professional and attentive waiter to customer needs, he was able to recommend some amazing dishes, also pairing an excellent wine with dinner. The venue has an intimate, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Behind the dishes you can perceive the uniqueness, commitment and originality of the idea! Prices are appropriate to the type of cuisine. We will definitely be back, it's not easy to find places of this level in the area.

04/04/2024: Very nice shop which offers excellent chocolate typical of the Modica region. Friendly welcome in English and Italian. The saleswoman introduced us to and tasted their specialty: chocolate refined with plants to give it a unique taste (tobacco, pepper, orange blossom, etc.). Very original packaging, perfect for bringing back an authentic souvenir from Sicily. Right next to the Duomo.

21/03/2024: You can try all the chocolates. The employee was extremely nice and told me the background to the chocolate and production. It was definitely worth a trip.
