Simply great... I've been visiting Catania for many years and tried so many gelato shops, some were good, some were less, but Gelateria Zio was..... excellent. I lived not more than 50 meters a way, but never thought that this plave will be special until someone took me there. I was surprised and shocked at the same time. The gelato was great. My favourite was pistachio. In many places you will get only the color and the sweetness of the gelato, but never the taste as it should be. But at Zio, the taste of pistachio was very clear. The pistachio notes through the geltato added more to the taste. I enjoyed it so much and decided never to buy gelato somewhere else. The staff were very nice and attent.

The best ice cream, perfect in both taste and texture. You know what you're eating... no comparison to ice cream parlors in Germany where the ice cream tastes more milky...

We found this gelateria by chance while spending our vacation in the neighborhood. The ice cream is very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They offer a wide variety of unique flavors, and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Really good and underrated gelato.

I really enjoyed the meal. Next time, I plan to try the Lemon Granita.
