11/04/2026: Most portions were at high level, but one of the main dishes (meat) was inedible and was returned to kitchen. We got compensated 20€ out of 520€ bill which felt insulting. Definitely not a 2 star experience in that sense. The antipasti and primi were excellent, main course so and so (one horrible, one ok), desserts fairly good. Wine matches were good but wine package included pretty cheap wines compared to price. Service was otherwise on a high level (as expected).

01/04/2026: The chef's kindness and humility, combined with the warm, professional service and exceptional local cuisine, have earned a permanent place in my heart. Having visited around 10 times over the years, I can say the experience is consistently unforgettable. A true key to this success is Chef Sultano’s personal presence, which is remarkable given the multiple restaurants he manages.

14/04/2026: I spent Easter lunch at Singola and it was a truly impeccable experience. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer and the wine pairing, which was truly spot-on. What really made the difference was the kindness of the service: you could sense passion, attention, and a genuine smile. I will definitely be back.

31/10/2025: Delicious arancini with excellent crunchy breading, and a variety of flavors to choose from. We tried pistachio, potato, speck, smoked provola, and ragù. Overall, they're good, but the fillings are a bit bland and the flavors aren't quite there. I've had much better arancini around Sicily. The staff are friendly, and you can sit at a table. Prices are average.

15/03/2026: We went to Al Paradise pizzeria in Scoglitti this evening and it was another wonderful experience. It's our third time back, and each time we choose this place because it always offers us peace, tranquility, and an intimate atmosphere. We started with two montanare as an appetizer, which were truly delicious, and then we ordered two pizzas. One in particular, with turmeric dough, was simply spectacular: light, flavorful, and very original. The food was truly excellent, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was also impeccable: special thanks to our waitress Daisy, who stood out for her kindness, courtesy, and great customer service. The place is modern, well-kept, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. We'll definitely be back again and recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza in a quiet, pleasant atmosphere.

09/03/2026: The chef prepared a seafood cuisine expertly. We sampled John Dory, and the chef prepared an omelette with the eggs found inside the fish. While we waited, we were treated to a taste of artichoke and, to finish, a sweet brittle, a local specialty.

06/04/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Tocco D'oro restaurant, led by chef Riccardo Cilia. Culinary identity and a deep connection to the local area, with a menu deeply rooted in Sicilian roots, with a touch of innovation and freshness, yet never banal. I had the pleasure of dining with my partner, enjoying a seven-course tasting menu chosen by the chef. A 100% positive experience, I highly recommend it. Excellent cuisine, courteous and attentive service. A special mention goes to the calamari alla amatriciana. I had a great time, and we'll be back.

22/03/2026: Everything was perfect: an elegant restaurant, impeccable service, evidently high-quality ingredients (fish), top-notch preparation, and a superb dessert finale. Update: Tocco d'Oro is now part of the history of Comiso's restaurant scene. The restaurant's vitality, meticulous attention to detail in selecting ingredients, and superb service are guaranteed by the renowned passion of its leader and founder, and by a well-established tradition, now revived by the young "heir" Riccardo Cilia. You can sense the renewal, but without any upheavals. The pizzas, for example, are undeniable. The standard of the rich selection of desserts has been confirmed. I won't dwell on the quality of the rest, which has remained unchanged over the decades.

13/03/2026: Clearly seen better days. A huge wine list where seemingly half of the selections are sold out. Dishes were never more than tepid and many felt seriously dated. The staff tried hard and were very friendly if a bit overmatched.

14/10/2025: Were there yesterday, had reserved via website 2 days in advance, no answer, then when we called it was clear they were only outside, it was ok. Service so-so, very inconsistent, the young waiter was very nice and helpful, when we asked why there was no reservation confirmation he said the email had probably ended up in the spam folder. When we ordered wine he said he only had one bottle left, but could give us a different wine, same winery, but cheaper. The food was very, very good, we only had to order the same thing each time, so one meat and one fish probably wouldn't work. But the food really was very, very fine. Unfortunately the kitchen seemed to have run out of energy at the Dolce. Once we got a tiramisu in a glass and once a cheesecake, better in every café, it was extremely unloving and very strange that everyone got something different. In conclusion: Yes, the food was very good, but nothing special, at 60 euros per menu I would have expected more, especially at the Dolce. No need to repeat it.

10/11/2025: We had a wonderful time on a warm November Sunday, sitting on the veranda... we were immediately greeted with a truly refined appetizer and entrée, both balanced and delicious. We enjoyed an excellent prosecco recommended by the very attentive and friendly staff, and then continued with superior pasta and main courses. Definitely an experience we'll happily repeat!
