Qualia In Cefalù

This is one of the best restaurant. The food was amazing. The chef prepared some exotic dishes experience was outstanding.

An exquisite and unique experience on a Saturday afternoon 30th of December ! One of the best memory of Cefalù. The host is exceptionally professional and gave his best to make us feel and taste the Italian cuisine!

Going to a gourmet restaurant is not always about soulful, tasty food and a lot of food. This is an experience with taste and delight in unexpected combinations, this is art in culinary miniatures. Unfortunately, experience at Qualia has nothing to do with this. The wine offered was perfect, the appetizers were good and even interesting, but not a masterpiece. The main dishes offered made us sad. The truffle risotto was spread out on a flat plate with barely any signs of life in its temperature. The Cuttlefish was so seasoned with extra salt that even the hope of drowning it in the foam of the pillow on which it was served did not help - everything was harshly over-salted. Our main dishes were excluded from the bill, even those that our teenage children ate. It was the right gesture, thank you. But the evening made us sad and disappointed.

Food was fantastic! I had one of the best pasta I ever ate! It was a mix of nduja and calamar. We took also the veal that was absolutely delicious! Dessert was good but nothing particular. The wine was delicious, and well suggested by a professional sommelier. To be honest the only reason I put 4 stars and not 5 is because of the quantity. Price is a bit high I think compared to the quantity we got in the plate. Also with the meat we had a really really small amount of veggies…but of course let’s keep also in mind that the quality of the food served was really high.

Absolutely TOP! This is how you imagine a romantic restaurant. Very nicely decorated. Discreet and yet very stylish. The service was reserved but always courteous. And the food is an absolute dream. Clear recommendation!!

Excellent restaurant, relaxed environment and super friendly service. What we like about Qualia is the international scope: typical Japanese fermented culture, Scandinavian influences and a somewhat French approach. Very particular wine list and all united by the fact that they are only natural wines. Top

Exceptional culinary experience: carefully chosen raw materials, combinations of flavors that arise from passion and dedication towards healthy cuisine that combines Sicilian tradition with contemporary cuisine. Tasteful location: simplicity and details even in the combinations of colors and objects, discreet, kind and helpful staff, happy to have had this experience, I recommend it

What a delicious find! We walked by and decided to order three dishes to share.. ended up ordering two more. Especially the raw shrimp with almond milk and cucumber kimchi stood out. They work with local Sicilian ingredients, and make their own ferments, such as garums or Koji based ferments that take their food to another level. The wine selection is great (including local heroes such as the Viola brothers and Sergio Drago). All of this is set in a lovely interior with great eye for detail. The host even catered to our four legged friend. We had a great lunch and I recommend going there.

Excellent food and great service. The food was locally sourced and the flavours were amazing. Italian favourites re-imagined. Opted for a local wine recommended by the waitress which was reasonably priced and went well with the tasting menu.
