06/05/2026: A wonderful experience in a refined setting. My wife and I had lunch there a few days ago. The food was very good and carefully prepared. The kindness and friendliness were abundant and natural, a rarity. If we return to Monreale, we'll definitely visit you again.

02/05/2026: We went to Taverna del Pavone and had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was satisfying from start to finish. We tried a seafood pasta dish and a pasta alla Norma, both excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The appetizers were also very good, as were the desserts. In particular, the cassata was very fresh, delicate, and truly delightful; the chocolate dessert was also delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent service. Our only small suggestion is to slightly expand the gin selection on the menu and, perhaps, serve the tonic water separately, so each customer can adjust it to their own taste. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

11/06/2026: Beautiful view and a good restaurant. Personally I think this place would be best as a group and you can share some plates as they are quite large. I went by myself and was absolutely stuffed. I didn’t make the best choices for myself as I ordered things that were very rich, but that’s on me. Overall it was a pleasant dinner and the staff and service were excellent. It’s a large farm and much of the produce comes directly from the farm, which is nice. I had dessert (forgot to photograph) of little pastries filled with ricotta and pistachio paste, these were not to my taste. But again I think this was more my choices than the restaurant. I will definitely go again and try different things from the menu.

21/06/2026: We stopped by as a backup plan and thought it was great. Getting a table spontaneously for a group of ten is anything but easy, so we asked without much hope. We were warmly welcomed and treated like royalty. I've never had a pizza like it before. The flavor was more sourdough than yeast, and the tomato sauce was a touch sweeter than what we're used to in Germany... but it was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely remember it for a long time. 14/06/2026: The place isn't very large (about 40 people inside and 20 outside), but it's well-furnished and simply decorated, and it's centrally located (just 1-2 minutes from Via Etnea and the famous Villa Bellini). We stopped in on a Saturday night (it wasn't busy, but given the capacity, I always recommend booking) after seeing the positive reviews online, and the result was indeed more than satisfactory! We ordered 1 Margherita pizza, 1 Sicilian calzone, and 1 hamburger (all 3 excellent!!), as well as 1 coffee, 1 strawberry canestrello, 1 Coke, and 1 draft beer for a total of €40, including cover charge. The quality/price ratio was truly excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, highly recommended!
