We sat in the outdoor seating area, right on the small street, because of the mild temperatures, which provided an authentic Italian street-side experience (a real neighborhood social hub). The menu is available either in Italian on a chalkboard by the entrance or multilingual via QR code at the table. We were pleasantly surprised by the speed with which our digital ordering system (which is to be expected!) was served.
But now to the main point: The food was excellent, and we were served complimentary dessert wine and a sample of limoncello (perhaps because we looked so puzzled?). And all this at a very reasonable price. All in all, a truly delightful experience!

The atmosphere is reminiscent of old-fashioned family-run trattorias. The authentic flavors of Sicily, with a wide selection of traditional first and second courses. Generous portions and exceptional service. Kudos to the chef. Very fair prices.

Found it by chance. The atmosphere is simple, but it turned out to be a surprise! The staff were really kind, attentive, and smiling. The food was tasty and plentiful. I went there two nights in a row during my weekend in Catania. If I could, I would have given more than 5 stars!

We spent two days in Catania and ate here on both days. I hesitated at first as i disliked the bright light and the cold atmosphere of the interior. But the food reviews convinced us to give this restaurant a try. And they were right! Great fish, a charming service and very fair prices. I deeply recommend this place and will surely come back soon!
A lot of clearly labeled vegan options. The quality was very good and we had many different vegetable dishes (different salads, grilled veggie, and antipasti). A few more vegan pasta dishes would be nice. Staff was extremely friendly! Prices are comparatively low.

A great find!
This Italian osteria offers truly generous first courses, both in quantity and flavor. The dishes are tasty, authentic, and well-prepared. All at very affordable prices, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The place is typical and historic, which adds to the experience.
A perfect place to eat well without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it!
