20/04/2026: Having stopped in Gallipoli this morning and having enjoyed both ice cream and some snacks yesterday at Martinucci's in Santa Maria di LEUCA, I never would have expected a "down-to-earth" scrocchiarello to be yesterday's, as I had to stop on the street and throw up... I understand that you can't throw away everything from the day before, but at least it should be better preserved... the rest, according to what my wife tasted, was excellent...

19/04/2026: I got my son a half-kilo of strawberry ice cream. There was a long line to get a receipt, and the ice cream was awful. It's a shame. I've tried ice cream before, and desserts and cakes have been excellent.

28/11/2025: A charming restaurant located near Gallipoli's historic center. Plenty of seating, both on the ground floor and a mezzanine level. The food is generally excellent, including the €25 fixed menu (drinks and cover charge excluded), which includes an appetizer, a first course, and a second course (your choice).

04/01/2026: I stayed at this hotel with my family to celebrate the arrival of the new year 2026. We arrived on the afternoon of December 30, 2025, for dinner, and already some problems were noticeable. My daughter couldn't find the room she had booked for her daughters. When we found optional cots, they were missing sheets, blankets, and pillows. In my bathroom, the following was noticeable: the toilet was out of line, with dated and worn faucets, the bidet faucet completely dislodged from the countertop, the first signs of fouling, and the water was unclear. We tolerated it, thinking it was a temporary issue, but in reality, I'll tell you more about it later. We had already agreed and paid in advance for half-board, but unfortunately, starting with dinner on January 30, which was, to say the least, not very well received by all guests. The service was terrible, especially due to the lack of staff for a large number of guests, significantly more than the legally permitted number of guests the hotel itself should have accommodated. On New Year's Eve, we prepared for a party, convinced that the service would be more appropriate for the holiday. However, it was worse than the previous evening: service was nonexistent, and the staff (poor things) were seriously stretched, both due to the minimal number of people serving in the dining room and, above all, the higher-than-usual number of guests. Furthermore, the service was seriously disrupted by the deafening music (very loud) that continued until the end of the evening and the space occupied by the crowds that filled the entire dining room. The food arrived cold and of poor quality, perhaps inedible, despite our having contributed full price to the stay. It could even be tolerated, okay, but the BIGGEST SCRAP happened the following day, from 7 in the morning the water no longer reached the floors, imagine the serious disruption and the panic of the guests, until 11:00 there was a general protest, also reporting the serious inconvenience to the competent authorities and the high risk of epidemic, by a miraculous sign, the water came back for a few minutes around midday but very dark and dirty and to think with that water we would have had to eat. To conclude the water came back intermittently but always dirty. Unfortunately, perhaps it was better the water did not come back until the evening. For us, the regret remains of having stayed in a hotel with very serious difficulties of all kinds, precisely on a date that is expected a year and we found ourselves penalized in everything. The height of it was that the organizers and managers of the structure did not express a sign of understanding towards the guests but, only threats, pounced with inappropriate reactions, inviting us in altered tones to to leave and leave the hotel, even though we were still entitled to lunch on January 1st.

29/03/2026: The fried food was a bit too oily, and the pizza wasn't spectacular for my taste, but it was too rubbery. We waited two hours and ten minutes. Almost everyone in the restaurant had eaten by the time we arrived.

18/09/2025: We came for an all-you-can-eat meal. My tablemate ordered raw ham, and I ordered cooked ham (exactly four dishes). Two of the cooked ham arrived, and after several complaints about the dishes not arriving, we got up and left. We mentioned this to the cashier, who runs the place, and she told us we should have called the waiters. Not listening to any arguments, she made us pay and stuck to her guns, pretending not to understand what I was saying. I don't recommend eating here; the owners are terrible. We paid €66 for nothing—what a disgrace.

31/10/2025: Excellent ice cream shop located in the heart of Otranto, right across from the sea. The ice cream is truly excellent, the service is top-notch, and you can even sit outside if it's raining!

28/09/2025: Terrible. I spent €90 and was told by the cashier that the register doesn't accept receipts over €50 because it's too old. Highly discouraged.

07/10/2025: Unfriendly, terrible welcome, it seems like you bother them the moment you walk in. I've been there a few times because the first time I thought they were having a bad day. It's always like this... terrible. I found another bakery. I won't go there again.
