10/02/2025: Very good discovery in Scorrano, in the main square. Behind the bar there is the restaurant which offers excellent meat or fish dishes. The fiorentina is definitely worth it and is served already cut on a hot slate. The portion is really abundant, more than 2 people in my opinion. The children enjoyed carbonara pasta! The sea antipasti are also excellent and fresh. In winter the room is a little cold, despite the heating being on. Very good attentive service.

14/01/2025: After agreeing on the date and everything else, two days later he tells me that the place is no longer available. Zero professionalism.

30/12/2024: Enchanting and evocative location, attentive service and tasty, quality food. Music selection in line with expectations. Applause for the ability to maintain the recovery of the places faithful to the history of the place, the fireplace is impressive and the chandeliers are truly remarkable. History and traditions in the places and on offer.

15/09/2024: Do you want to eat? DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. We ordered two pizzas from Easy Gusto, order accepted, they were supposed to be delivered by 10.45pm. It was 11.55pm, the order was being delivered but still nothing, we tried to call and the phone didn't ring. No signs of life. Unexpected events can happen to anyone but there is no such thing as making customers wait for NOTHING, at least be warned!

20/12/2024: Se vuoi bere qualcosa, considerato che il beverage non necessita di "cucina", allora ci può stare: la cornice del castello, la piazzetta, la movida... Ma se vuoi mangiare del cucinato allora pensaci bene a spendere i tuoi soldi li. Inutile fare l'elenco delle pietanze portate al nostro palato, le accenno solo per un esempio: pasta insapore, baccalà fritto in olio "esausto", polpo degno di un decongelato di discount. E certamente non a prezzi da discount! No, questo vuol dire uccidere Otranto, la sua storia, la sua ospitalità, la sua cucina... Certe recensioni positive ti fanno pensare, mah! De gustibus non est disputandum!

18/09/2024: Nous avons pris un apéritif avec mon épouse soit deux Spritz jusqu’à présent rien à dire.On nous propose de grignoter et on se laisse faire. On nous apporte des bruschetta et en plus on nous compte deux couverts soit 31 € l’apéro. Je comprends maintenant pourquoi le restaurant était vide.Bien qu’il le reste car il court à leur perte .

12/04/2025: Hard to imagine how anyone could give this place less than a 5 star review… I suppose during the summer season it’s probably packed, so maybe the service is slower. I did find it a bit confusing on how to order, but once I asked someone, they were very helpful and cordial. The amazing offerings of pizza, focaccia bread, endless sweet treats and excellent coffee left me with a memorable experience. The beautiful and tasteful decor and artwork, as well as the artistic lighting added to the enjoyment. Plenty of outdoor seating, as well as two areas of seating on the second level on both sides. Highly recommend for for sweets, coffee, or a nice meal of Italian pizza or other dishes!

31/01/2025: Igiene zero... attesa per la pizza in sala troppo allungo bisogna aspettare tutto ciò c'è poca gente in sala, olio per frittura mai sostituito, nella farina c'è i vermi ed viene rimosso con la rete per farina. La signora che sta in cassa e maleducata e risponde male hai clienti.

09/02/2025: Pranzo ottimo...tutte le pietanze sono ben preparate, rispettano la cucina salentina. Locale accogliente, ordinato e pulito nonostante ci fossero molte persone. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

08/09/2024: I have been coming to Lu Podere for about 20 years and unfortunately for the first time I am forced to leave a negative feedback, to start by saying that I had dinner with them just two weeks ago with my dog ​​and this evening they suddenly announced that dogs are no longer accepted inside but absurdly not even outside!!! Of course in 2024 it is a truly counterproductive and paradoxical decision for them. A place that I have appreciated for years but that today has deeply disappointed me.

05/11/2024: Ci troviamo io e la mia ragazza in questa braceria poiché passati diverse volte questa estate volevamo provarla dato che io sono amante della carne. Ordiniamo una tartare di manzo con lime capperi e grana, una grigliata mista per 2 persone e verdure grigliate. La tartare seppur tagliata male e scelto un taglio di carne che non era per una tartare era buona perché la combinazione limone e grana era buona, ma il sapore della carne non si sentiva per niente. Arriviamo alla grigliata ( bombette, messicani, spiedini di pollo, salsiccia ecc.. ) carne secca, il pollo puzzava era andato a male, la carne era secchissima e di cattivo gusto, abbiamo lasciato l’intera grigliata perché disgustati. È arrivato il cameriere chiedendo tutto bene? E io ho detto la verità.. non hanno nemmeno chiesto scusa però hanno applicato uno sconto di 13€.. sicuramente non ci torneremo!
