18/10/2024: 2024 Google suggests I update the review. Nothing useless to update Mediocrity prices dancers (depending on the mood? Or the customer?) Cleanliness to be good approximate. No star given away 2023 One star removed... from two to one .. There is never an end to the worst. Disorder and approximation. Sin! It could be fabulous but it's not... unfortunately! Except for the good coffee... Approximate service, Covid rules not respected, cleanliness of the place to be improved for sure Unprofessional confusing. Yet the ideas are there... Even the sympathy... It takes a little more courage and inventiveness... It deserves three stars of encouragement, but it would be unfair

24/05/2025: Terrible pizza, service at a similar level, the worst restaurant in Italy I've been to. I totally do not recommend!

24/05/2025: Unfortunately I do not recommend it! This is the worst pizza I have eaten in Italy. A lot of cheese, little sauce, I have no idea where these positive opinions come from, maybe if someone eats pizza in Italy for the first time, but having any experience you can say that the pizza is of a very low level.

30/05/2025: Like several others, we did not get past the threshold. Despite having made a reservation via TheFork weeks before, and confirmed on the day, we were left sitting in a courtyard separated by glass doors from the restaurant and other than indifferently taking details of our reservation were completely ignored by the two members of staff manning the doors. They came and went without engaging with us at all and eventually after 15 minutes of this supercilious treatment we decided we would be better eating elsewhere.

24/05/2025: Qué lugar tan grosero y pretencioso. Ni siquiera se les permitió cruzar el umbral. No hay recepción, así que te mueves aún más en - mal error! ¿Cómo puedo probar la comida si me empujas antes de comer? No me veo del tipo de gastar dinero en su restaurante. Ah, bueno, un montón de otros lugares para elegir!

29/08/2024: The lido is adjacent to the free beach and there is the possibility of renting umbrellas and sunbeds. For lunch it offers a very rich and varied menu. Very nice also for an evening aperitif. Also worth trying is their craft beer. The staff is very kind and helpful.

01/05/2025: today, May 1st, we went to this bar for a simple coffee after lunch, it's not the first time we've come. despite the crowding, we calmly lined up as usual. unfortunately, a rather rude couple passed us and demanded to be served first. the most unpleasant thing is that the bartender satisfied them without batting an eyelid, completely ignoring the other people in line so we asked if we could be served too, since we had been waiting for quite a while without anyone considering us. when our turn finally came, with the bar still crowded, a person (we don't know if it was the owner or a manager) turned towards us with an accusatory tone, inviting us to "stay calm" and to respect the work of others. this generated a heated discussion: we were not criticizing their work, but signaling a clear lack of respect and attention towards customers in line. everything turned into a scene in front of everyone, where we weren't even allowed to explain, while he pretended to be right at all costs. only later, once we understood the misunderstanding, did we receive an apology. we accepted them but honestly after such an experience, we will never return to this bar again. respect towards customers should be the basis of every activity, especially at times of greatest attendance.

22/06/2025: We went to Andrano near the Green Grotto this morning for breakfast. A wonderful welcome and delicious products... The waitress kindly served me a rum baba, with a big smile... This afternoon we decided to go for ice cream at Martinucci in Gallipoli... What a disappointment! The cashier was in a very unpleasant mood, so I didn't eat anything there! It's intolerable to speak to a customer in that tone!

19/06/2025: Excellent ice cream shop in Gallipoli! Warm welcome, fast and friendly service. The ice creams are delicious, creamy, and very varied, with original and high-quality flavors. A place not to be missed!

29/05/2025: I've been coming for a year! And we always travel 30 minutes for their pizza. The service is perfect. And the pizzas make us crazy thank you so much guys

04/03/2025: Locale bellissimo, staff meraviglioso. Antipasti abbondanti ed ottimi. Il primo buono. Mi dispiace per la carne arrostita ma non era per niente buona. Soprattutto gli spiedini. Una cosa non scontata : pulizia dei bagni....10 e lode....bianchi e veramente puliti a fondo..cosa che in altri locali lascia a desiderare.

01/12/2024: There were 6 of us who arrived at 9pm and ordered pizzas. At 10.30pm two beers and two bottles of water arrived. When asked if there was wine, the waiter didn't know. At 11.30pm when we asked for the missing pizzas, the answer was always "I'm going to get them." At half past midnight we left, even the band that was playing had finished their set list. Luckily for the Habanero group, they were very good and delighted us with some beautiful songs. What can I say? Catering is never improvised. Organise yourselves better for the next evenings.

14/04/2025: Locale celebre in questa terra, aperto fin da quando io, 55enne, ho memoria. E da me frequentato quando ero ragazzo e ci venivamo con ì motorini. Direi che il ristorante è rimasto quello di allora, e non lo dico come complimento. Sono stato invitato in gruppo di sedici persone. Alla fine, l’invitante ha chiesto scusa ai suoi ospiti. La sala è grande, ma riempita oltre i limiti della piacevolezza. Il rumore è insostenibile. Le persone agli estremi della tavolata erano isolati dalla conversazione. Abbandonare il proprio posto per raggiungere un altro commensale o un altro luogo dell’universo mondo era operazione da ballerini del Bolshoi, complimenti quindi ai camerieri cui auguro una carriera differente. Io ho assaggiato dei frittini e gli antipasti della casa, altalenanti tra l’ irrilevante ed il cattivo, una pizza vecchia scuola delle puglie- e sia ben chiaro che non è un complimento neanche questo-, ed una entrecôte che era un oltraggio alla memoria della povera bestia morta invano. Mi hanno detto che in estate, all’aperto, forse il tempo trascorre più piacevolmente. Qui, per me, è stato un supplizio. Ho spiato il Conto, che non ho pagato, e sono saltati fuori trenta euro a testa. Credo che se li avessi pagati li avrei rimpianti. Tuttavia il locale è pieno, quindi evidentemente il problema è che non sono io il target del ristorante. Saluti, non vi disturbo più.

09/02/2025: Pranzo ottimo...tutte le pietanze sono ben preparate, rispettano la cucina salentina. Locale accogliente, ordinato e pulito nonostante ci fossero molte persone. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

11/10/2024: Needed a quick stop for a sandwich and a salad, and found this place brought along the waterfront. Everything was fine. The food was good. The beer was cold. The only problem I know that they cannot control all the stinking flies.

09/10/2024: Great location, terrible food. We had two chicken salads - and even that simplest of dish was off. Chicken tasted dry and double fried, watery salad felt straight out a supermarket bag. One of those places that seemingly don’t put any effort on what they serve you.
