02/11/2025: A friend and I ordered two Cosmopolitan cocktails, but they served us glasses that tasted only of bitters and gin. The taste was truly undrinkable, so much so that we couldn't drink them. Sadly, seven euros wasted.

17/10/2025: Very good value for money - a bit cheaper than other restaurants in the historic center and much more generous. Octopus on a bed of chickpea puree to die for (€18). Tender and generously simmered. Friendly and cheerful service, very good red wine by the glass (€5).

22/10/2025: Traditional cuisine of excellent quality, the owner is very kind and helpful

15/09/2025: Authentic and delicious. The server spoke French and gave us excellent advice. The fish was fresh and well-cooked, all at very reasonable prices.

11/10/2025: Very large and generously topped pizzas, but perhaps too heavy on toppings and therefore difficult to digest. Some combinations were more successful, others less so. Fast service, noisy atmosphere. Overall, decent.

30/09/2025: The pizza was good, the wait was a bit too long, more than an hour.

25/09/2025: We stopped for a lunch snack. The restaurant is in a small square overlooking the entrance to the old town, not crowded with tourists, allowing for a quiet outdoor seating. We ate delicious pucce and frise, neither excellent nor infamous. Service was quick. The price was reasonable; there were three of us. We had pucce, frise, water, and coffee, and spent €17 in total.

10/09/2025: We had breakfast and coffee there almost every day. The service was excellent, and the dishes were very good. I don’t understand the negative reviews. They also speak English without any problem. For me, it was definitely worth visiting.

20/09/2025: The hosts were very friendly. We had spaghetti vongole. It was delicious. We even got a small Aperol Spritz on the house. Thank you for that.

29/09/2025: Good all-you-can-eat buffet. Not much choice compared to the French buffet, but at least everything is good. The sushi is particularly good.

11/11/2025: A traditional, non-wood-fired oven, it offers takeout food, from bread and muffins to focaccia, pot pies, all kinds of friselle, and much more. The only thing that could be improved is the stuffed pulce, which are often too thin, like the whole-grain bread it contains, which, in my opinion, has a low percentage of grains compared to the wheat used.

12/10/2025: I recommend it for the texture of their bread, which is particularly soft compared to other bakeries. It's even better when eaten warm.

16/08/2025: We like to eat in, but you can also pre-order food and takeaway. Very tasty, the salads are fresh. Everything is very clean.

04/11/2025: Delicious coffee, service, and location in the center of Monteroni. Excellent pastries with a wide selection. I've been coming here every day now!

08/07/2025: Some of the best pasticciotti leccesi, fruttoni, and chocolate or pistachio spumoni in the area. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: We ordered a ham platter as a starter and a pizza as a main course. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The pizza lacked flavor. The ambiance was very plain and uninviting. The staff was rather reserved and not particularly friendly.

19/10/2025: Before it had much more on the menu, now it has reduced a lot.

20/10/2025: Restaurant/pizzeria serving first and second courses, and excellent Neapolitan pizza, which I've tried. I don't know about the other dishes. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. Prices are average. I recommend it.

07/10/2025: Best pizza in town - once upon a time! Yesterday's pizza was still half-raw and had canned mushrooms...nothing like it used to be, unfortunately! The specialty pizza is no longer available either. Sadly, this was my last visit there.

27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.

22/04/2025: The food is good and the atmosphere is welcoming and homely.

12/10/2025: We wanted to try the pizza, especially the gluten-free version, which is hard to find with a homemade crust. We were completely satisfied with the gluten-free and traditional dough. The place is small, yet cozy, with only a few seats. There's no table service; everything is picked up at the counter. The menu lists a huge number of possible pizzas, perhaps around forty.

22/08/2025: A late stop on our return trip. As a family with two children, we received a very warm welcome, and the pizzas were delicious and the sandwiches generous. A great place.

09/10/2025: We had already been there four years ago, and we've returned twice on this holiday to Castro, and it's always a confirmation. Beautiful location.

08/09/2025: There was only one thing I didn't like: besides paying the cover charge, which is right, they charge for the bread separately.
