03/10/2025: I've been frequenting Salento for years, and the Cutty Sark kiosk is a must-see...on clear days, you can see the mountains beyond a heavenly sea, the view of Castro is priceless, you turn your gaze and see an old ruined tower...the pungent aromas inebriate the mind, and you're immersed in epic tales. The owner is always available and smiling, ready to pick up all the rubbish that too many rude tourists leave abandoned or insistently push into already overflowing bins...and I'm sad to read certain reviews where someone is wishing someone would fail for a few pennies!!! Dear Lord...the worst robbery is the time wasted writing it...the peace and beauty of that place are worthless.

05/10/2025: I'm sorry to say this, but compared to a few years ago, the quality of pizza has significantly declined. Lately, I've always found pizza with very dry, thin dough, and very little sauce and even less mozzarella. I hope this review helps us improve, because Verlaine pizza used to be a guarantee of excellence.

From the very beginning, I appreciated his professionalism, integrity, commitment to quality, and passion for his work. Over the years, I've continued to appreciate the deliciousness and authenticity of his dishes. What can I say about Matambre? A welcoming place, extremely friendly service, and top-quality food. 25/08/2025: This is a seafood restaurant with an adjoining fishmonger's (different entrances for the two businesses). From appetizers to dessert, everything is delicious and expertly prepared. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The lady at the cash register is very kind and always asks if customers are satisfied. We will return whenever possible. Congratulations!

I understand that the day included a special event, but perhaps it would have been helpful to communicate this more clearly, so that we could have made an informed decision whether or not to participate. Regarding the service, unfortunately, our experience was different from what you described: we encountered a certain disorganization and a lack of attention to requests, which was a negative impact. The food was good, and I acknowledged that, but the overall quality of the experience unfortunately did not live up to expectations. In any case, I wish you and your staff the best of luck. 23/08/2025: We happened to be at this stretch of beach in not-so-great swimming weather, and we were hungry. The staff was very friendly and helpful – they immediately spoke to the children in a friendly manner and even offered a high chair. The food was excellent (fish, meat, pasta, salad). The prices were a bit high due to the fresh ingredients. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended!

31/08/2025: We spent two unforgettable weeks. The apartment is truly comfortable, clean, and meticulously maintained. It's just steps from Nardò's historic center. We felt right at home, thanks in part to the owners' helpfulness and kindness.

11/11/2025: A traditional, non-wood-fired oven, it offers takeout food, from bread and muffins to focaccia, pot pies, all kinds of friselle, and much more. The only thing that could be improved is the stuffed pulce, which are often too thin, like the whole-grain bread it contains, which, in my opinion, has a low percentage of grains compared to the wheat used.

12/10/2025: I recommend it for the texture of their bread, which is particularly soft compared to other bakeries. It's even better when eaten warm.

08/09/2025: We tried to order from this place twice, and both times they were out of stock. Only a few pieces of rotisserie, days old. The place is poorly maintained. The staff is disinterested and sloppy. A terrible experience.

18/08/2025: A small restaurant in the center of San Foca. You can order takeout or sit down, as we did. We had the Apulian bombette, with a side of fries and salad. The bombette were delicious, but it's a shame they didn't have much cheese inside. Their calzone is also very good, with a flavorful crust and a generous filling. Recommended!
