19/08/2025: As always, a guarantee...every time I come from Milan, even if it's far away, I come to Lecce for your top calzone!!!!!
12/08/2025: We ended up here by chance while looking for a quick pizza before visiting Lecce.
Delicious pizza, perfect quality and quantity of ingredients!
We also had the fried calzones. Everything was perfect.
The owners? Fabulous and incredibly kind!

Bruschetta with stracciatella, cherry tomatoes, and anchovies as an appetizer.
Tonnarelli with mussels and scialatielli with clams.
To finish, iced coffee, a revisited almond milk with coffee cream, and a pasticciotto.
Generous but not overly large portions, and tables right on the waterfront!
Everything was excellent, we'll definitely be back.

Located in the main square of Leverano, this restaurant is a true gem, perfectly balancing the charm of a historic center with the variety of restaurants. Beautiful.
Authentic Japanese cuisine, just like we experienced in Japan.
Attention to detail, delicious food, very friendly and courteous service.
Not only will we return, but we will recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful culinary experience. Truly top-notch.

20/08/2025: We've been staying in this area, at relatives' houses, for many years. After lunches and dinners based on meat, we opted to explore seafood restaurants. After exploring the locations and dishes, we relied on the reviews. Well, what can I say? They exceeded all expectations! Excellent quality and dishes cooked with love! We were so pampered by the excellent service and the spectacular location.
NB: I "scarpetta" (cleaned the surface of every dish) and ate amazing mussels (never eaten and never will if not here).
COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AND ALL THE STAFF!!!

07/12/2025: ...we happened upon it by chance, and found a truly lovely little place. The dining room was small but welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food truly excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that they denied my request for fried fish... simply because the daily catch was different...
What was served was delicious, especially the mackerel parmigiana.
We'll be back soon.

It's the sea on your plate and the fire in Rocco's eyes, sharing his life with the sea. It's the kindness in the faces smiling from the glass of the open kitchen. It's the care and kindness of the young woman serving at the table. Anime Sante is an authentic place, like very few others these days. And it's also something more: an experience that's hard to explain if you don't go, but once you do, it stays with you, like a sense of nostalgia.
