01/05/2026: If you're looking for the luxury of appearances, look elsewhere; if you're looking for the luxury of substance, authenticity, and a family feel, then you're in the right place. We had lunch at Zia Nene's with my wife and our 5-year-old daughter and were blown away. The Cuisine Is Authentic and Endless ​Forget processed products or frozen food. Here, everything is cooked to order, and you can taste it. The philosophy is clear: uncompromising quality and quantity. ​My daughter was treated to a huge appetizer of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses, followed by a pasta with sausage ragù that she devoured with delight. ​For us, it was an incredible experience. We started with five fabulous appetizers, which we repeated several times (because here, "seconds" and "thirds" are the norm, not the exception). This was followed by expertly made fresh pasta, and finally, a homemade dessert accompanied by spectacular fresh fruit. The restaurant is informal and exudes a rare warmth. The owner's kindness is the real added value: she made us feel at home from the first moment, even going so far as to offer our daughter's meal, a gesture of elegance and sweetness from another era. Talking about "honesty" is an understatement: €25 per person for a feast of fresh, lovingly prepared products is a price almost impossible to find these days. If you want to eat until you say "enough" with the certainty of only healthy ingredients on your plate and a smile on your face, visit Zia Nene. We'll definitely be back! 07/04/2026: I went to this place yesterday (Easter Monday) for the first time. I had a good meal. The food is homely and the management is friendly. The only "flaw" is the wait time between courses, but that's understandable because everything is prepared and served fresh (it's a bit like going to lunch at your aunt's). Aunt Nene is very friendly and kind; she certainly doesn't leave you without food; in fact, she brings you as much as she has.

12/12/2025: Beautiful and colorful little place with retro images of rock bands and singers. The appetizers are good and plentiful, with fair prices for the quality and quantity. The waitress is kind and helpful. My only flaw, I'd say, was the mushroom grill, which was a real treat. Anyway, approved.

21/10/2025: Highly recommended! 🍔 The burgers are the bomb!! Delicious and juicy meat, soft bun, and super fresh ingredients. The presentation is also top-notch, there's an endless choice of combinations, and the prices are super fair. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends or enjoying some great live music. I'll definitely be back... one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! 😍🔥

23/05/2026: We visited this pizzeria on a Saturday evening, and unfortunately, the experience was decidedly negative. The pizza was good, and tasted nice, but the wait was excruciating: almost two hours to be served. We understand the weekend chaos, but what made matters worse was the staff's total lack of helpfulness and courtesy, who seemed indifferent to our inconvenience. It's a shame, but good food isn't enough without organization and respect for the customer. We won't be returning.

05/02/2026: The restaurant is self-service, although it has a small service area with limited hours. The food is good for the restaurant style, the tables are spacious, and it must be difficult to get a table during peak season since we were there at the end of September and had to wait. The prices are reasonable.

01/10/2025: Like all the beach clubs in Torre Lapillo, it's quite crowded, and therefore has its share of problems. These include the limited but clean facilities and the long wait times. The spacing between the umbrellas is tight, though apparently slightly better than at the nearby beach clubs. There's a decent self-service restaurant and excellent pizza at mid-range prices, so there are plenty of options for a bite to eat. Beach club prices are €20-25 + parking, but you can also park in the side streets across the road. The beach is the best in Lapillo.

20/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this StreetFood to satisfy an evening craving for crepes. Given my gluten intolerance, it was quite difficult to find a place to go, but searching online, we came across "Man in Pasta StreetFood." The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful, and explained the various gluten-free and vegan options. The gluten-free crepe was crispy and filled with plant-based Nutella. For four crepes, including the gluten-free one, we paid €16. I recommend the experience, especially to those like me who are gluten intolerant!

It seems excessive when I saw that other bakeries sell the same product for €25. Thanks anyway. For replying to me on WhatsApp about this, the one mentioned didn't even bother replying 👏👏👏

07/04/2026: A friend of mine took me there years ago, and since then, whenever I'm in the area, I can't help but stop in. Everything is excellent; I've bought some excellent cakes several times. The staff is friendly and always available, and there's private parking for customers.

I was impressed by the choice to provide a spicy condiment from a small Salento company—if I remember correctly, it's called Terra Russa—that I really liked. A small detail not to be overlooked, as it shows the attention paid to even the smallest details.
