We had both excellent pizza and delicious arancini, which, as Sicilians, we particularly appreciated because they weren't greasy and the ingredients were very fresh. 07/04/2026: We dined here on Easter Monday. We only realized afterwards that many families would be eating in the restaurant on Easter Monday, rather than in the evening. We had reserved in advance for the evening. Despite the fact that Antonio and his team had been busy all afternoon, they still took the trouble to welcome us. We were the only guests and were spoiled culinarily with homemade bread, focaccia, and a delicious amuse-bouche featuring very tasty aubergine with a lovely, firm texture. The spaghetti al noci was top-notch, as were the osso buco and the lamb shanks, all enjoyed with a glass of red wine from Manduria. We declined dessert. 05/09/2025: Clean and welcoming place... As soon as we entered, a young man welcomed us and, seeing my poodle arrive, he already went out of his way to give my dog ​​water without me saying anything. This place already deserves 5 stars... We had some delicious cuts of meat, you can also find the butcher shop on display inside. I had a very good pizza, the pistachio and melon liqueurs on the house were excellent... Mattia, the young man who welcomed us, was full of attention to the entire service from start to finish... To conclude, he gave balloons to my children, a small gesture but for my children it was super. Thanks again Mattia, number one...

22/02/2026: The Universo restaurant is truly a universe of flavors and Salento hospitality. I stopped for Sunday lunch and everything was delicious: fresh and tasty dishes, good house wine, and the orange and almond cake that finished it all was excellent. The staff were truly kind and helpful, never intrusive.
