27/12/2024: Oven of wishes that churns out flour and sugar delights that will leave you speechless. Forget about good intentions and diets, because this is a place of invincible temptations, which you will not regret. Soft pizzas, local pizzi alla pizzaiola or turnips, morsels with cured meats, bread taralli stuffed with olives... brioches, sweets, almond paste and delicatessen for those who don't want to dirty the stove... the only downside to the place is that you could do a little in a row, but it will help you think better about your order. You absolutely must try this oven 🤩

27/10/2024: Siamo andati a mangiare una pizza con amici ieri sera direttamente da Specchia, leggendo le varie recensioni e vedendo le foto volevamo provare di persona... Ed è stato veramente un'ottima scelta, una pizza veramente ottima e dallo stile napoletano, servizio eccellente ed un prezzo più che soddisfacente, ormai è difficile trovare pizzerie con dei costi umili e dalla pizza veramente ottima. Ci ritorneremo tranquillamente e la consiglio vivamente tutti gli appassionati di pizza napoletana.

27/10/2024: We went to eat a pizza with friends last night directly from Specchia, reading the various reviews and seeing the photos we wanted to try it for ourselves... And it was truly an excellent choice, a truly excellent pizza with a Neapolitan style, excellent service and a more than satisfactory price, it is now difficult to find pizzerias with modest costs and truly excellent pizza. We will definitely return and I highly recommend it to all Neapolitan pizza enthusiasts.

07/10/2024: A right break to enjoy a good coffee. The pastries are good and the sandwiches are also good. Excellent welcome and friendliness. It's a shame that the place is very small, but this is compensated by the friendliness of the management.

29/01/2025: Our experience at Mamma Elvira was unfortunately disappointing. The quality-price ratio is decidedly unbalanced compared to what is offered. The dishes seemed reheated and not fresh, with first courses lacking character and a second course of cod that did not give the impression of being of the day. The bill was disproportionate to what we consumed: 181 euros for four people, with only two starters, three first courses and one second course. The real surprise came with the wine, a label that is usually priced at 11 euros, but was instead priced at 27 euros. An experience that did not convince us and that we will hardly repeat.

16/02/2025: Locale situato alle porte del centro storico di Nardò. È stata una piacevolissima scoperta per ogni lato della ristorazione. Dal servizio, puntuale e cortese alla qualità del cibo, ai prezzi praticata. Insomma, tutto ok e nessuna nota stonata.

12/02/2025: Scoperto per caso durante una passeggiata nel cuore di Nardó, questo posto ha attirato sin da subito la mia attenzione per la sua eleganza e raffinatezza. Abbiamo deciso di fermarci per pranzo, e una volta entrati, abbiamo avuto sin da subito un’impressione positiva data da un ambiente curato e accogliente, gestito da un personale davvero cordiale ed efficiente. Il menù offre sia pietanze a base di carne che di pesce, e dispone anche di un menu sushi. Ovviamente non ci siamo fatti mancare nulla, abbiamo deciso di optare per piatti di mare iniziando con delle tartare e del sushi come antipasto accompagnato da una squisita fonduta di caciocavallo con gamberi, tutto impeccabile, e come primo una carbonara di mare da leccarsi i baffi. Pesce di ottima qualità, sia cotto che crudo, il sushi era di alto livello. Qualità prezzo adeguato, abbiamo mangiato tanto e speso il giusto, tornerò sicuramente per provare il menù terra e per goderci la terrazza magari nel periodo estivo!

22/01/2025: Ricordando la bella esperienza di circa 7 anni prima, decidiamo di recarci a cena in questo ristorante. Serata che inizia con le migliori aspettative: la cameriera, molto gentile, riesce a farci accomodare nonostante ci fossimo presentati senza prenotazione. Da quel momento però iniziano i problemi: il servizio è volutamente lento e macchinoso, e il motivo è presto spiegato. Essendo un all you can eat, la gente tende ad ordinare quantità di cibo maggiori, e loro per arginare tale "problema" e avere maggiori introiti, rallentano il servizio e le portate, anticipando perfino la chiusura della cucina. Praticamente ci siamo accomodati alle 21.30 e alle 23.30 ci viene comunicato che la cucina era chiusa, avendo noi mangiato praticamente nulla e con più fame di quando ci eravamo accomodati. Dulcis in fundo il rimprovero finale della proprietaria, che ci ha detto che non ha piacere ad averci più come clienti perchè mangiamo troppo, minacciandoci inoltre, di farci pagare alla carta quelle 4 sciocchezze che eravamo riusciti a mangiare... meravigliosa ospitalità giapponese... a questo punto il consiglio è di abolire questo finto all you can eat e di passare al servizio alla carta.
