So why 5 stars?
After the flight and the drive to Bari, here's a place I really enjoyed having breakfast.
First of all, the place is calm, peaceful, and beautiful. You're comfortably seated in a beautifully landscaped courtyard with lemon and orange trees...
The welcome is very friendly, full of smiles, and you can really feel their pleasure in hosting guests.
The breakfast is good, with quality products and a generous portion. And it's good value for money.
A big BRAVO and THANK YOU for contributing to the success of our stay in Lecce.
17/11/2025: Came in for lunch in November. Delicious sandwiches. Excellent bread. A great experience. Staff was very helpful. English was spoken by the staff but try your Italian as you will learn the local phrases.

From the very beginning, I appreciated his professionalism, integrity, commitment to quality, and passion for his work.
Over the years, I've continued to appreciate the deliciousness and authenticity of his dishes.
What can I say about Matambre? A welcoming place, extremely friendly service, and top-quality food.

05/12/2025: A truly delicious pizzeria/rotisserie. The variety of products you can find (not to mention the excellent quality) makes it hard to choose. Everything is delicious! Above all, I strongly believe the calzone I ate at this pizzeria is the best in Lecce, hands down. I highly recommend it. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. A very welcoming place.

08/11/2025: We visited this friggitoria just steps from the Due Sorelle beach and it was a delightful discovery! The food was truly delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely caring, which really makes the difference. The prices are also fair and in line with the quality. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent meal in a welcoming, authentic atmosphere. We'll be back!

17/03/2026: A typical local pastry shop with a much wider selection than the usual fancy pastry shops, especially specialties from Lecce. The deli is also pleasant, and the atmosphere is certainly old-fashioned, but the care, cleanliness, and kindness of the owners weigh far more heavily than the trendy decor.

The place was welcoming, with a sea view and something unique.
Friendly service.
I only ordered fried fish, which was very satisfying.
The place was clean.
The quality/price ratio was also good.
I will definitely return to try the first courses.

04/04/2026: The place appears simple and nice but for the products they sell the prices are too high and inside it is not very comfortable as the tables are small and often and willingly it creates an almost chaotic environment on weekends if crowded, getting to the point I did not have a good experience all in all, I am not saying that the product is not decent or good but it does not apply to how they sell it or how in general they promote this piadineria that has recently opened and in "hipe".
