A small space with a trattoria-like setting that still holds its own against all the gourmet restaurants/grills. The dishes are prepared according to tradition, as if they were cooked by your grandmother; Anna, the chef, is excellent. I will definitely return. Very fair price. Go Lecce!

Although the pizza is very good, the service is disappointing. The waiter is incredibly rude! He'd snapped at us in the past, but I let it slide, thinking he might be having a bad day. This time, however, he outdid himself. We were a table of seven, and after finishing our pizza, we asked what desserts were available. He replied, "Tiramisu or crème brûlée." We were undecided, because the dessert we were looking for wasn't available, and we asked for a moment to decide. His response was, "No, tell me now, otherwise I won't be coming back," in a curt, annoyed tone. As he walked away, we decided to order two tiramisus and two crème brûlée to share. When the waiter returned to the table to bring an amaro to one of the diners, I raised my hand and said, "Excuse me...", but he raised his voice and replied, "No, ma'am, I said you had to order first!" and walked off to another table. Silence fell in the room, and everyone turned to look at me. Rude and rude behavior! That's not how you treat customers. We stood up, paid the bill, and I told the cashier I wouldn't be coming back. Whether he's the owner or not, you should be respectful of the people in front of you. It would have been enough to calmly say he'd be back later, without raising your voice in front of everyone. 14/10/2025: The other evening we had dinner at Aria Corte: a discreet and welcoming place, perhaps in need of a makeover, but clean! The food, however, was a real surprise. Authentic food! Simple and expertly prepared, generous appetizers of both seafood and meat. We ordered a terrine with vegetables and mozzarella, light and tasty. The salt-crusted amberjack, incredibly fresh, accompanied by freshly pickled onions, was delicious! For sides, tasty baked potatoes, zucchini, and eggplant, perfectly grilled. The grilled bread was a real treat! The house white wine was delicious, and the staff (including the owner) was kind and helpful. A positive experience, highly recommended. The pizzas were also very tempting!

21/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bar New Tandem in Cavallino almost by chance while looking for some sweets for my mother-in-law, who was taking them with her to Naples. It was around 9:00-9:30 in the morning, so a fairly normal time for breakfast, but upon entering, I immediately noticed that the display case, despite being very large, was almost empty: just a few pasticciottos and a few other sweets. I must admit that the initial impression wasn't the best, especially considering the place is quite well-known and well-reviewed online. Luckily, we managed to grab the last pasticciottos available, which we tried right away and took away. And I must say, the product itself is truly delicious: the crumbly pastry, the perfectly sweet cream, and a flavor that reveals the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal craftsmanship. This is precisely why it's even more disappointing not to have found a larger display case, because it's natural to think how unfortunate it would be to limit yourself to trying just a couple of desserts when the entire lineup is probably truly worth it. The prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. All in all, I'd say the place is worth a visit, but perhaps it's best to go at a slightly later time than I did, when the sweets are fully stocked. If you happen to be passing through Cavallino, it's definitely worth stopping by and sampling their products, starting with the pasticciotto, which remains a guaranteed success.

Food was fairly good but dollops of marmite with beef is seriously lazy cheffing and not very nice! Seemed a little bit of Emperor’s new clothes to be honest - would not recommend in a country where food is taken seriously… wines were great

26/10/2025: We ate at this restaurant last night. I've never been to Japan, but having visited nearly 50 countries, I know that local flavors are often difficult to replicate perfectly. Therefore, I can't say how similar the cuisine is to authentic Japanese cuisine, but I can certainly express my opinion: the dishes are very tasty and unique. I highly recommend the tempura egg, which is truly delicious, the classic okonomiyaki omelette, the octopus balls, and the shrimp noodles: all very good. Plus, the service was quick, even though it was a Saturday night.

The prices aren't at all what they advertise on The Fork. Nevertheless, it was really good. The owner is very friendly, and the setting is very pleasant, with a vaulted room playing pleasant music. It's worth the detour.

Two perfectly identical fish forks and a paper napkin—somewhat amateurish mistakes. The waiter poured the wine into your hand when offering to taste it. The shrimp were obviously frozen, alongside a few authentic ones. The execution of the dishes was acceptable, but could be improved. Overall, a slightly disappointing experience.

Before ordering the pizza, I ask how long it will take; they tell me it'll be ready in 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, there's no sign of the pizza. When I ask, they tell me they'll put it in the oven "right away"...the pizza arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. In addition to making you wait, they insist you occupy specific positions. The numbers are too advanced; they shout the name of the person who ordered from the window. Amid all this, if you complain about the service and the delay, they reply, "You're on vacation, I'm working." They clearly don't understand that I pay and they take the money.
