Everything was very good, but the portions could be a little larger, especially the meat appetizer.

Food The cuisine is sensational. Fresh, high-quality products are used. Every dish is prepared with great attention to detail. The professional handling of food intolerances is particularly noteworthy: You receive expert advice and are shown all possible alternatives, so you can enjoy your meal without worry. Value for Money The prices are absolutely fair.

Of all the restaurants we tried during our trip, La Fulana, in Giuliano di Lecce, was undoubtedly the most authentic and wonderful culinary experience in Puglia. You don't just come here to eat, but to rediscover authentic Salento cuisine. In the kitchen, the owner's mother lovingly prepares recipes passed down through generations, transforming simple ingredients into dishes rich in history and tradition. We chose to share everything so we could savor every house specialty. I finally tasted the famous gnummareddi, a symbol of Salento peasant cuisine; the sagne torte with tomato sauce and ricotta forte, with its intense and authentic flavor; the traditional eggplant imbuttunate; and the vegetable dishes prepared according to local tradition. These are flavors that today are at risk of disappearing, but here they are preserved with passion and respect, keeping alive a gastronomic culture that expresses the identity of Salento. More than a dinner, it was a journey through memories, flavors, and traditions of this land. If I had to choose my favorite culinary memory from Puglia, I would choose La Fulana without hesitation. A place where you feel like a guest and where every dish tells a story.

Good but nothing exceptional! The orecchiette were a little bland, and the zucchini parmigiana wasn't up to par!!! Too bad.

Beautiful place both inside and out. Very friendly staff. I was disappointed with the ciceri e tria (chickpeas and tria) because I didn't see much of it, even though those few were delicious. Too much tria. The fried foods were very rich and delicious. There's a charming historic area nearby for a stroll after dinner.

Finding a place where you can eat well is great, but Fulana restaurant goes far beyond that. It's a complete experience! The decor is extremely tasteful, managing to create a welcoming, light and very pleasant atmosphere. We felt good from the very first minute. The friendliness and hospitality of the entire team are exceptional. We were greeted with genuine smiles and very attentive and warm service. The food is simply divine. Everything is fresh, with authentic flavors and perfectly seasoned. You can perfectly see the care and dedication in the preparation of each dish. The great secret of the house is the cook Maria. Mrs. Maria is the true soul of the restaurant! She manages to transmit passion through the food and the result is a cuisine with soul and an unforgettable flavor. I highly recommend it and it will undoubtedly be a place to return to many times. Five stars are not enough!
