Masseria la Duchessa In Veglie

We went to this masseria for a Sunday lunch. We had a really good time; everything was perfect, from the food to the service. The set menu is an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed on April 25th, overnight stay, dinner, and breakfast... everything was perfect... well-appointed, clean, welcoming, spacious rooms... everything we had was very good, including the service and presentation of the dishes. The price was reasonable for what we ate... breakfast was top-notch... nothing was missing, and everything was fresh. I recommend it and will definitely return on other occasions. Very beautiful facility. Thank you!

What a pleasant surprise...the place was packed on Sunday lunchtime, and we were served immediately by highly professional staff. The restaurant is beautiful (with large, clean bathrooms, despite the crowds) and the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses, and even the dessert. A two-night trip as a couple with a 4-year-old child. We were treated wonderfully and had a very positive experience. The room was spacious, cozy, warm (we were traveling in winter), and clean. Breakfast was made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The quality of the products cooked and served at dinner was excellent. The wait staff (a celiac guest) was attentive and the service impeccable. An enviable location just steps from Porto Cesareo, Lecce, and Gallipoli, which we visited while staying at this masseria. Highly recommended!
