06/08/2026: This is our second time here, and it's the second time we've been completely satisfied. There were four of us, and we ordered two pizzas to split and four first courses. The pizzas were delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the first courses were plentiful and excellent. Thanks to chef Donata and the entire staff. And a special thanks to Andrea, who recommended the lemon tagliolini with mussels, which were delicious.

06/08/2026: For all celiacs and others. I'm from Rome and I come on vacation to Salento, and I've always come to Cistaredda because the pizza is exceptional. This year, with my son, who is celiac, we ordered two different gluten-free pizzas. What I can say is that we've never had pizzas like this! In fact, I've never had pizzas like this. Try them and write a review like this. By the way, even the fruit is gluten-free.

11/08/2026: We found ourselves in this little town by chance and, almost by luck, discovered one of the best gelatos we've ever tasted. The staff were friendly, smiling, and very kind. In short, from an evening that started without much in the way of ideas, we still managed to come up with a wonderful surprise! Highly recommended!

15/08/2026: We enjoyed a wonderful lunch meal here. The setting, outdoor seating, and staff were all wonderful. You will be presented with a platter of the fish of the day from which to make your selections. If you choose to go another direction, there are many excellent items on the menu. You’ll find a full range of cocktails, wine, and beer as well. For our meal, we chose three items. The cassatine di alici ai pistacchi was great (anchovy, ricotta, vegetable and pistachio preparation). We followed that with another delicious starter, fiammiferi di tonno pastellati (battered tuna pieces with sweet-and-sour onion). finally, for an entrée, we shared the sagne ’ncannulate with octopus and critimi. Everything was top-notch and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

16/06/2026: My family and I went to the Cioccolati Gourmet ice cream shop last night, around 9:30 PM. The experience was severely ruined by the staff's behavior. When we asked for clarification on the "Nutella" flavor, we were told that it wasn't a real flavor but rather a drizzle added to another ice cream. To avoid misunderstandings, this should be clarified at checkout, not while the ice cream was being prepared. The main problem, however, was the tone of the counter staff member, who was completely rude and unprofessional. He responded by saying, "If you talk and don't listen to me, I explained to you that there's no Nutella," with an attitude that clearly conveyed the idea that customers shouldn't ask questions or ask for explanations, but simply accept without the possibility of discussion. Such an attitude is unacceptable in a customer service context. It's a shame, because the quality of the product will never be enough to make up for such rude communication and such an overall negative experience.

15/07/2026: The terrace is rather small and the tables are quite close together, but once the food arrives, all that fades into the background. The produce is fresh and expertly prepared, especially the fish. The Sapore di Mare and the tempura cod were truly delicious. Furthermore, the service was very attentive throughout the entire meal.

13/08/2026: A small and delightful place in the heart of the historic center, where tradition is palpable thanks to a family-run business passed down from generation to generation. ​I really appreciated the menu: there's no endless list of "pucce," and that's a huge plus, demonstrating an unfussy focus on quality. I had the puccia with zucchini, capocollo, and burrata, and it was simply out of this world! A rare bonus: it was identical to the photo on the menu, beautiful to look at, and truly delicious. ​My only small suggestion to the staff: make the outside of the place a little more visible or signposted, because we stumbled upon it by pure chance. It would be a shame to miss out on such a gem! ​In any case, Lecce will definitely be a must-visit every time we're in the area. Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: Food was excellent. It was a bit quiet when we got here around 8pm on a week day, but it started getting busier. The people that work here are super nice, checking on you constantly. However, the food here was our highlight - we had salad, fries and pizza and everything was great. Highly recommend this place for when you are in the area.
