We discovered this place by chance; we needed to use a Smartbox for two people, which was about to expire, so we opted for Matanzenu. Six of us went, extending the invitation to the whole family, and I must say we had a pleasant evening, meeting Ciro and his staff. They were friendly, welcoming us and offering advice on the menu. The food we tasted was excellent (appetizers, main courses, pizzas, and desserts). We'll be back, despite the short distance between us, as we're in Lecce. Congratulations again to Ciro and his staff. Well done, keep up the good work!!

Great experience with Smartbox too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited this pizzeria using a Smartbox voucher, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The food is truly delicious, and the quaint, family-friendly atmosphere creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What really made the difference, however, was the staff: kind, knowledgeable, and downright friendly. They looked after us perfectly and handled the voucher without any issues (which isn't always a given!). Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back, even without Smartbox!

06/08/2026: For all celiacs and others. I'm from Rome and I come on vacation to Salento, and I've always come to Cistaredda because the pizza is exceptional. This year, with my son, who is celiac, we ordered two different gluten-free pizzas. What I can say is that we've never had pizzas like this! In fact, I've never had pizzas like this. Try them and write a review like this. By the way, even the fruit is gluten-free.
06/08/2026: This is our second time here, and it's the second time we've been completely satisfied. There were four of us, and we ordered two pizzas to split and four first courses. The pizzas were delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the first courses were plentiful and excellent. Thanks to chef Donata and the entire staff. And a special thanks to Andrea, who recommended the lemon tagliolini with mussels, which were delicious.
