Matanzenu deserves 5 stars for the helpfulness of the owner and his entire staff!
Even though it was Easter Sunday and we were a group of 15, they seated us at 11:00 PM.
The place is welcoming, and the presence of a lit fireplace makes it feel right at home.
The gluten-free fried food is varied and delicious, as a celiac sufferer can tell you!
An added bonus is the safety: the waitress reassured me right away by telling me that the chef herself was celiac.
Excellent value for money, even on a holiday.
Unfortunately, I can't comment on the pizza by the meter because it contains gluten.
I will definitely be back to try the other gluten-free options.

I used a smart box at this place and I have to say I was a little skeptical at first, but when the pizza arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The dough was delicious, followed by a slice of chicken and dessert, all delicious! The service was quick and friendly! Highly recommended.

Very nice place with star vaults; it was an old warehouse of a building (hence the meaning of matanzenu), very good pizzas, excellent fried foods, also very helpful staff.....I liked it a lot.

I've been going there for years and can confirm that everything is always fresh and delicious.
Fast and professional service, excellent and plentiful dishes, and above-average prices.
I highly recommend their pizza by the meter.
What can I say... highly recommended, they get better every time!

Everything was delicious, from the fried foods to the pizzas, both by the meter and the classic round ones with whole-grain and whole-wheat dough... exquisite soufflés and quality beers. Top-notch, excellent service, thanks Bubba and Debby.

A truly wonderful experience at Matanzenu, a traditional restaurant in the heart of Campi Salentina that makes you feel right at home. The food is excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and in full respect of local tradition: every dish is an explosion of authentic flavors.
The restaurant is quaint and well-kept, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes the evening even more special. Dining in front of the fireplace is a real plus, especially on cooler evenings: it creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere.
An ideal place for those seeking good food, tradition, and conviviality. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!
