La Cistareddha - Trattoria degli Oscar In Tricase

This is our second time here, and it's the second time we've been completely satisfied. There were four of us, and we ordered two pizzas to split and four first courses. The pizzas were delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the first courses were plentiful and excellent. Thanks to chef Donata and the entire staff. And a special thanks to Andrea, who recommended the lemon tagliolini with mussels, which were delicious.

For all celiacs and others. I'm from Rome and I come on vacation to Salento, and I've always come to Cistaredda because the pizza is exceptional. This year, with my son, who is celiac, we ordered two different gluten-free pizzas. What I can say is that we've never had pizzas like this! In fact, I've never had pizzas like this. Try them and write a review like this. By the way, even the fruit is gluten-free.

An exceptional dinner for two. The staff welcomed us warmly and immediately found us a quiet table (we were with our dog). The food was delicious, with traditional Salento first courses, tasty and plentiful, and crispy, non-greasy fried food (chef Donata Rizzo was brilliant). The staff was extremely kind, empathetic, and attentive, but never intrusive. A place worth remembering and returning to.

Not just the pizza (delicious!!!), but also the first courses and desserts—all made with Salento-style mastery by Donata, who, with wisdom and love, gave us a true joy. We'll be back.

We discovered this restaurant during the first few days of our vacation and are truly happy we stopped. From the very beginning, we were greeted with great warmth and kindness: the service was attentive, cheerful, and made us feel right at home. We started with an excellent mixed meat and vegetable antipasto, rich and authentic, featuring gnocco fritto, cured meats, and other truly quality specialties. The real masterpiece, however, was the off-menu item: lemon linguine with mussels—simply phenomenal, a fresh, balanced, and truly unforgettable dish. We are thrilled to have discovered this place during the first few days of our vacation and are sure we will return several times before we leave. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The homemade pasta was especially outstanding. They serve truly excellent, traditional, and local cuisine with typical regional specialties. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
