The first impression is that of an average restaurant with the same old pizza and the same old menu, but when the parmigiana, wild chicory, and fava bean purée arrive at the table, you realize you're at your mother's house and you relish the familiar flavors.
I can say that my wife and I had an excellent culinary experience that celebrates Puglian tradition, with rich and flavorful eggplant parmigiana and a fava bean purée with chicory that perfectly balances the sweetness of the fava beans with the bitterness of the vegetables.
These are authentic, warm, and well-prepared dishes, ideal for those who love the authentic flavors of Salento. I live in Verbania on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

The welcome and the pizza were warm, especially the hemp-based one. The place is a bit noisy when crowded. Overall, a good recommendation.

Not just pizza!!!!
We'd come from a long journey and needed to savor authentic Apulian dishes to repay our hard work. Chef Donata succeeded brilliantly, and Andrea welcomed and served us with a smile. Making us feel right at home.
We saw pizzas—and more—passing around other tables, so we'd love to come back and try everything.

Today my mother and I stopped at this pizzeria with the intention of having pizza, but we got distracted by the other delicacies on the menu!
Overall, the place is a warm, welcoming place with very friendly staff, including Mr. Andrea, who served us courteously throughout the evening.
The food... the food is excellent!! We had homemade potato croquettes and a mixed grill, and they were truly delicious!
But the eggplant parmigiana won our hearts! It's simply sublime, it melts in your mouth... kudos to chef Donata.
We'll definitely be back!

They highly recommended this restaurant to us, and they were right. Everything was exceptional, including off-menu vegetarian and vegan options.

A Tricase gem! La Cistareddha never disappoints: the eggplant parmigiana is amazing, with the authentic flavor of yesteryear. The cicerchie con cicoria deserves special mention, a traditional dish prepared to perfection, balanced, and flavorful. To top it off, their tiramisu is absolutely unmissable: creamy and incredibly fresh.
Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
