08/11/2025: We landed late and needed a place to stay. It worked out well. Clean rooms a little older but well taken care of. Good location from the airport and reasonably priced , 99. Breakfast was included and had a great selection.

29/11/2025: We spent a lovely evening in this restaurant with quality food and perfect cooking. Chef Michelangelo is very good and he cooks with great passion and above all with love that explodes in all his dishes.

29/10/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Upepidde with a group of seven friends. We left the table satisfied with the dishes served and the service provided. We enjoyed local products prepared by a great chef like Michelangelo, whose skill and experience made you taste his way through every dish! Also noteworthy is the attention to raw materials, freshness, and, above all, seasonality. At Upepidde, you can find menus adapted to the seasonal products the Ruvo area offers. Upepidde also has an impressive cellar housing a wide variety of wines from every vintage; Michelangelo and his staff were very kind in accompanying us on a short tour of this marvel.

05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable evening – authentic, welcoming, and culinary at the highest level This small restaurant is a true insider tip! As soon as you enter, you can feel the warm atmosphere – the crackling fire, the lovingly set table, and the charming decor with light blue accents and rustic wood immediately create a feeling of home. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the food: The red snapper was perfectly prepared – crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavor on the inside. Every bite was a delight, accompanied by an excellent local wine, which is recommended at €20. You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is just right – authentic, fresh, and with attention to detail. A place where you feel completely at home and one you'll be reluctant to leave. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food, style, and warmth. 🇮🇹❤️🍷🐟

24/10/2025: Total disappointment. Pizza was just okay. But the service was completely disappointing. No empathy. Furthermore, we found ourselves in the middle of noisy and uninhibited groups. In short, for a meal as a couple, it was far from great. It would have been quite simple to move away from these groups for a little privacy. In short, we absolutely do not recommend this place. The disappointment of our week in Puglia in terms of restaurants, whereas until now everything had been very good.

13/10/2025: We sat down at 9:00 PM, and the pizzas arrived at 10:40 PM. The place was overcrowded beyond belief, definitely over capacity, with tables everywhere and no room to move. Meanwhile, they were preparing tons of takeout pizzas while we waited in the dining room. One of the diners received a burnt pizza that wasn't the one we'd ordered, and my dad's pizza was missing the caciocavallo cheese and artichokes: in both cases, it seemed like an attempt to trick us. Furthermore, out of six pizzas, the sixth arrived 10 minutes after the others. I'd asked for a specific type of beer, but they brought me another one when we were almost finished dinner, which I refused, yet they tried to charge it to the bill. The waiters were inexperienced, the service slow and disorganized, the dough hard and heavy, and the atmosphere stressful. Too many people, little honesty, and no customer service. Two stars only for the courtesy of the staff in the dining room.

21/07/2025: A very welcoming and well-kept place. We had exceptional roast octopus and delicious pizzas with light crusts. Fair prices and very high quality products! We'll definitely be back. 😍

20/11/2025: I lived in Italy for a year and was really looking forward to returning to this place. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The woman who took our order was very rude; she wouldn't let us pay by card even though other customers were paying by card, and she also insisted we order XXL panzeroti because she said the small ones weren't available, even though the customers behind us (Italians) ordered them and didn't complain at all. It's a shame that such authentic places are lost because of bad service.

18/11/2025: Great pizza with a very friendly ( with one notable exception) staff.

29/11/2025: Just had dinner there and I feel like meh about the whole experience, the lady who served us was very friendly and sold her dishes really well. Once presented on the table it all looks a little sad and loveless. The fried polenta was fine, and so was the oriechetta and the pork ribs too. As for the dessert, I think we got overcharged for some tiny desserts. A chocolate souffle that seemed more like a muffin filled with Nutella at 7€ is not very impressive. 3€ for a warm limoncello (in other restaurants chilled and only 2€). I can go on, craftbeer served with a non matching glass is a bit nonchalant in my opinion as well. Anyway, food not too bad but definitely overpriced.

17/11/2025: We visited this restaurant for the Novello cheese festival. It was a wonderful discovery: a welcoming place, attentive and friendly staff, and excellent food, especially the fried cod and provolone fondue. I highly recommend it.

15/10/2025: The waiter brought us a coffee with normal milk when we specified soya. We are both extremely lactose intolerant. When we asked for a new coffee and sent it back they refused to remove it from the bill and said it wasn’t their fault. Terrible service.

14/10/2025: No toilet seat or toilet paper in the ladies or gents toilets. No toilet seat unfortunately seems standard in most of restaurants in Puglia

21/05/2025: A fantastic place to spend a wonderful evening in company and in a pleasant environment. 7 years in which this place never disappoints. With quality and local products, extraordinary attention to the dishes served and the cuts of meat. Excellent and above all fast service (even though we went on a Saturday, we were served immediately and the waiters were always available for everything) and a super kind owner. A place that never misses a beat, always frequented and that I will continue to frequent to spend a few hours of carefree and good food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
