12/08/2024: Perfect place for a light lunch between Locorotondo and Alberobello. Excellent value for money. Avoid the tourist traps in the towns and eat here instead. Starters are 6€, main courses from 6€ to 12€, side dishes 4€. Eat like local people, real, genuine Italian food.

12/07/2024: Easy to reach for those coming from the ring road, exit at Carrassi, turn right into via de Gasperi, then left into via Carducci, you can see the restaurant, the only street on the left, but the direction is prohibited The city is decentralized, you have to go on Via Giulio Petroni, near the Don Guanella retirement home there is a small side street, with the name of the pizzeria indicated, narrow at first, then it widens. They also do takeaway. Talk to the owner for the menu. Sitting outside we had a great time, fresh and ventilated. The starters are excellent, especially raw ham, mushroom terrine and Norcia or scamorza and ham, taken with ricotta. Pizza cooked just right, I would have eaten it all if my mother didn't want me to bring her something from dinner. I'll take the Neapolitan dough, even with the extra charge, if there's esprit de corps. Maybe next time I'll try flavors with fresh tomatoes. The waitress was good at bringing us the beers little by little to leave them fresh. Discount for rounding at the end. When I returned I liked the smell of the pieces placed in the carton.

27/05/2024: We are in Puglia and showing up with a requested plate of bruschetta, so tiny (photo and price) is truly irritating. Okay place, terrible service. On Friday we waited an hour and a half to have 4 pizzas at the table, not good at all. Very free waiter, they bring you things when they remember (if they remember. Really noisy place, even though it wasn't very full and it was during the week: the fault lies with the local people first and foremost, but if I had been the owner I would have at least scolded various tables even with dogs in tow.

04/06/2024: We had the pleasure of stopping by for a few glasses of wine and were served by a fantastic young lady. She took time to speak to us and share her knowledge of local area and life. What a credit she is. If only we were here for longer we would return. Thank you so much forvyour hospitality.

11/05/2024: Very nice place, friendly staff We took the chips with cacio e pepe sauce, really excellent, a very delicate sauce Not to mention the pulled pork is a real delight Then a pinsa with light and full mortadella Absolutely worth going there!

28/07/2024: We had dinner as a couple at this very nice restaurant in Polignano. It enjoys a beautiful view and romantic atmosphere. We were greeted very kindly at first and were made to sit at a table which however had a problem: it was hit in two places by two large fans (totally useless since it was already a ventilated place and in the evening there was already a beautiful north wind ). We pointed out the inconvenience and they turned off only one of the two, a little annoyed. However the other one continued to bother us. After several requests, including changing the table to have a more sheltered one or even that of finishing the dinner with only appetizers, which they rejected, they then obviously opted to temporarily turn off the other fan as well (just enough time to bring us to the table the second course, obviously). After this unpleasant affair, we were treated poorly, hastily and made to feel uncomfortable with the other guests in the room. We are quite private people and we don't like to be observed and this was very very difficult for us. However, in fairness, it must be said that the food we ate was very good, the starter more than the first course, and the wine excellent. The bill is in line with Polignano prices, but not adequate for the service.

01/09/2024: Best octopus sandwich you'll ever try! The smoky flavor of the octopus, the creaminess of the stracciatella and the crunchiness of the bread make it unbeatable! You have to wait in line (under the sun), but it's all well organized and worth it!

31/08/2024: We stayed 2 nights, 2 adults and 3 children, large and comfortable room, equipped with everything you need, excellent cleanliness, good breakfast with internal parking... highly recommended!!!

23/08/2024: I highly recommend this b&b... Mr. Giuseppe is an exquisite person ready for all our needs... He recommended really good places to eat... The b&b is located in a strategic point... with the car you can quickly reach many places... If we were to return to Puglia it will be our choice again. Not to mention the cleanliness of the room...really top...

27/08/2024: My husband’s favourite ice cream of all Puglia! The gorgonzola was just on point and the pistachio was the perfect balance between sweet and savoury! Great little memory, one of those places you keep talking about once you arrive back from holidays :)

27/08/2024: Caruso Gelateria is an absolute must for lovers of traditional Italian ice cream in Polignano a Mare! The selection is quite manageable: from classic varieties such as stracciatella and pistachio to creative own creations. Particularly noteworthy is the fair price for the excellent quality. Anyone looking for real Italian gelato will find it here and will definitely not be disappointed. Absolutely recommended!
