01/11/2025: I had lunch at this bistro and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. You're transported to an authentic Roman world, despite being in Altamura: the atmosphere, dishes, and details are perfectly reminiscent of Rome. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is truly beautiful and well-kept. I recommend it!

13/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday. The food was excellent, especially the pasta dishes and the pinsa. The service is very fast and the waiters are always very helpful. They also have a wide selection of wines to choose from, although you can also opt for a beer, as we did. I will definitely be back.

06/10/2025: Stopped for breakfast for coffee and a croissant. The croissant was good. I think it was frozen, but it was excellent quality. If I'm not mistaken, Tremarie, I have to say it was very good.

23/10/2025: Amazing experience worth 5☆. Food was delicious, nicely paired with wine :) Interesting variations of traditional italian dishes every week. You must try mushroom tartar.

07/07/2025: We have been regular customers for years now and every time it's like being with family. Authentic hosts like Giovanni and Rosa are rare nowadays, it's hard to find people like them in other places. As well as the team in the restaurant and in the kitchen: the chef definitely deserves all 5 stars. By following the social profiles Instagram and Facebook you can stay up to date on the menu updated weekly (yes, the menu changes every week based on the availability of seasonal products and it's an incredible thing). Meticulous research obviously also extended to the cellar. When you find the cotoletta, the ignorant turnips, the caponata, or all the other first courses on the menu, cancel your commitments and call Giovanni to book a table!

05/10/2025: My experience was not good. I haven’t completed my risotto because it smelled strange and It wasn’t very tasty, at least not to my taste. And I was not even asked why. Services was good, just a not property washed glass for a wine. Probably I was expecting something wow from the restaurant in Italy mentioned in Michlene guide.

04/10/2025: Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Jamanté. This is a true fine dining experience. The service is impeccably formal and attentive, yet warm and friendly. We felt very well taken care of. The food provided creative twists on traditional tastes. And the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, while also soothing and comfortable. We especially loved the table! The only unfortunate thing is that despite being so near such a beautiful town and surroundings, the location doesn't allow for views. I guess the nice trade-off is that the place is a little quieter, more secluded, and less crowded than it would be if it was closer to the action of the center of town. It was actually kind of nice to step away from the livelier side of things!

27/07/2025: Meilleure expérience culinaire des pouilles ! Du début à la fin, tout y était parfait ! Les bières servies étaient locales, fraîches et très tasty. Nous avons pris des petites friselles pour goûter en guise de starters et c’était croustillant, tout en restant très savoureux. Comme plat, nous avons pris 2 panini à partager et ils étaient réellement délicieux ! Le rapport qualité prix était excellent et le service serviable, poli et authentique. Nous recommandons fortement si vous avez envie d’un petit street food local, pas cher, avec un peu d’animation au milieu d’une des rues principales de Polignano.

20/09/2025: Pros: Excellent beer. Excellent service. Good food, with adequate portions. Improvable: Music too loud (many have said this), even in the afternoon. Small beers? Too many mosquitoes outside (perimeter screen?).

28/07/2025: I hadn't been back to this place since it became Tana Live. I liked the atmosphere and the staff too. The sandwich was definitely big! It was good, but I couldn't eat it properly. Maybe I'll go back to listen to some music 😊

30/11/2025: Unfortunately, they'd lost our order, something they confirmed firsthand several times. And since I'm pregnant, waiting over an hour between the appetizer and the main course was too much! I was really hungry! They apologized, but I expected them to make amends with a small discount, but nothing... The dishes were good, but not up to the bill. I won't be returning.

29/11/2025: Oh my, what a place! I've been here several times over the years, but since this summer I've been back three or four more times, both with family and friends. I've noticed the dishes have been updated compared to previous years, flavorful and beautifully presented for a "locanda." The Giovannino is worthy of praise, the octopus meatballs "furi di testa," the meat ragu with brasciola was never so good (and I'm from Bari). Friends and family were very satisfied, and the coconut dessert was also excellent. You can sense the love in the preparation. The wait staff was also very kind and helpful, and the wine selection was good. It's a sure thing now. See you next time!
