20/07/2025: I've been going to Puro for years, and it's always been one of my favorite restaurants for the excellent quality of the sushi and the refined atmosphere. I've often recommended it to friends, confident it would offer a high-quality experience. However, my last visit was unfortunately disappointing compared to the standards I'd come across. Two years later, I'm forced to revise my review, given the intense disappointment. Upon entry, we were greeted by a strong smell of fried food, which permeated our clothes and made the environment unpleasant, immediately ruining the atmosphere. The quality of the food, always a strong point of the restaurant, also seemed inferior: less fresh flavors and less careful preparation. Considering the rather high price, one would expect a different level, in line with previous experiences. On a positive note, in addition to the courteous and professional service, remains the good wine selection: the cellar is well-stocked and carefully curated.

29/05/2025: The best: tasty chicken ! also, plenty of sauces to choose from. Spoiler: the baked potatoes are better than the fried ones ! The service is kind and prices are cheap. The food is to take away but you can eat inside just standing because there are no tables.

27/05/2025: The roasting chicken looked mouth watering in the window but unfortunately unseasoned and a bit dry. We tried the mixed roast box and the mixed fried box but the fried wings were overcooked and unseasoned too. The fries were great and the team was very helpful despite our language barrier. The best thing on offer were the abundant sauces! We tried mango relish and truffle mayo, both made the chicken better. There's no room for dine in at the venue.

26/07/2025: Excellent pizzeria, highly recommended. The pizza isn't top-notch, but the palino makes up for it; it's delicious.

09/08/2025: The food was very good, especially the appetizers. Unfortunately, the fillet was extremely rare, a bit too rare (coming from someone who loves rare meat)... Too bad! Overall, satisfied! Price ok!

20/07/2025: Generous portions and quality ingredients. Excellent service; they immediately offered us local olives and delicious Apulian bread. The lemon and pistachio linguine was delicious (with lots of pistachio, just how I like it).

04/08/2025: Wow, how lovely! That was my first exclamation when I entered the bar! Yes, it struck me in a positive way, for the place, for how it was decorated, and, hey, for the breakfasts! Well, what can I say? It's well-kept and good, and the prices are reasonable.

19/05/2025: Titolo della recensione non a caso. Prenotato un tavolo per 4 un sabato sera col desiderio di mangiare una pizza. La serata però non inizia nel migliore dei modi e le aspettative iniziali si abbassano notevolmente in quanto l’orario della prenotazione non viene rispettato e slitta di un’ora! Sì 1 ora, ma la voglia di mangiare la pizza era talmente alta che abbiamo deciso di attendere speranzosi…anche perché le pizze che servivano e che erano già presenti su altri tavoli promettevano bene. SCELTA AZZECCATA. Ci accomodiamo alle 23.10. Posto di nostro gradimento sia per l’attaccapanni vicino al nostro tavolo sia per le sedie che decoravano il nostro posto…comodissime e diverse dal resto del locale! Era il minimo per farsi perdonare del ritardo. Menù di pizze vastissimo che mette una leggera difficoltà nel scegliere la pizza e dopo tanta indecisione ordino pizza con capocollo di MF, pomodori secchi, stracciatella e crema di olive. Spaziale…Qualcosa di unico! Da sottolineare che nonostante la pizza fosse piena di ingredienti è risultata digeribile! Il tutto accompagnato da una birra agricola di spessore. Ovviamente la pizza è arrivata in meno di 10 min…e ci mancherebbe! Personale educato e professionale. Naturalmente siamo stati gli ultimi ad uscire dal locale. Situazione del ritardo tollerabile, perché la pizza ne vale davvero la pena. Vai a farti un giro, ma non badare all’ora!

05/08/2025: Riposta al proprietario: Buongiorno, abbiamo pagato 16€ per 4 schnitzels come nella photo, in a cafeteria (not in a ristorante!). The prezzo is indicated for a complete menu, but only 4 schnitzels. How much does the price cost €4 per schnitzel? Vorrei capire comes sia possibile a prezzo del genere. Inoltre, the signora alla cassa non è state affatto gentile e, insieme a un collegia, probabilmente ci ha fatto pagare più del dovuto. : Fraud!! We were fooled! For four such schnitzels to go, similar to the picture, we paid €16!! 16€! We ate this at another location for €6, also for four pieces! El Pedro, why are you ripping off tourists? Or was this just a mistake? And you want to refund us? If so, I'd like my money back, as it's probably a mistake on your part; perhaps you billed the whole thing as a set meal. The seller asked if we wanted one, so we said we'd like another schnitzel. It's simply a disgrace. I expect my refund, then I'll delete this review.

13/07/2025: We were directed to this restaurant by the wonderful Licia from the Castellana Caves. Never was there a better recommendation! The food was exquisite, all homemade, from the bread to the orecchiette, with wonderful seasonings featuring the flavors of Puglia! The staff were very kind, welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable! Highly recommended.

24/07/2025: The seafood was extremely fresh! It was very fresh. The paccheri with plump and fresh fish was exquisite 😋 The sauce was delicious and the seasoning was perfect, with a great balance of flavors. This was the restaurant where I had the most delicious meal, from appetizer to main course, during my stay in Bari. The interior of the restaurant is modern and stylish. There seem to be many customers who visit frequently, and they were chatting enthusiastically with the staff and the owner.

18/07/2025: I found a long strain of hair in the fritto misto, told the waiter about it and he answered with fantastic nerve that it is not from them, because the whole team has very short hair... I told him that this means even worse, that they don't clean the ingredients, and he just smiled like he suddently didn't understand plain english and left. Utterly disgusting and disrespectful. I strongly do not recommend.

26/07/2025: There are experiences that you never forget, and the one we had in this restaurant is undoubtedly one of them. Together with my family, we found ourselves immersed in an authentic, warm and welcoming atmosphere, where every detail seemed designed to make us feel at home... but with something more: respect for tradition, love for cooking and a professionalism that is rarely encountered. As soon as we crossed the threshold, we were greeted by an impeccable staff: discreet, kind, present without ever being intrusive. A composure and care for the guest that struck us right away and that accompanied our entire stay, making it harmonious and relaxing. And then the food... how wonderful. Each dish told a story: that of their land, generous and full of authentic flavors. From the rich and fragrant appetizers, to the expertly prepared second courses, up to the desserts that left a smile on our lips... each bite was a little journey into this wonderful land rich in flavors and tradition. It is rare to find a place where the quality of the cuisine marries so well with the soul of the service and the beauty of the atmosphere. This restaurant gave us a precious moment, made of taste, human warmth and true tradition. We will return, without a doubt.
