This family restaurant was recommended to us by our BnB host. It sees very little tourist traffic. We went two days in a row at 8PM, and the place was mostly empty. By 9PM, it got packed with locals.
We went in looking for seafoods, and it delivered. Pasta with clams and mussels, pasta with tuna, risotto with seafood were all outstanding.
The price is also very reasonable, especially for it's portion.

The service was exceptionally friendly and remained polite and witty even in stressful situations. The food was excellent, the wine selection appropriate, and overall of a high standard.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. While it can get quite noisy when there are many guests, the friendly, family-like ambiance compensates for this and gives the visit a lively character.
We were particularly impressed by the value for money: we would have expected significantly higher prices for the quality offered.
Five stars – we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is historic and family-run. We dined with friends and enjoyed traditional dishes. The service was also excellent. It's an ideal place for a dinner with friends, exploring delicious Apulian dishes. I finally tried the spaghetti all'assassina, delicious.

We felt very, very comfortable here. The food was delicious, authentic, and freshly prepared. We ate there several times during our stay in Bari.
The pizza dough is traditionally made with sourdough starter (Lievito Madre) and has a long fermentation period. I was able to chat with the pizza maker and get a piece of dough, which I'll use to make my own.

In a busy area of Bari, this is a nice place with excellent service. We had a delicious mixed appetizer, along with some first courses, including orecchiette, turnip greens, and spaghetti all'assassina. All excellent and plentiful.
