01/07/2024: Recently, two friends and I had the pleasure of having an aperitif at the "Semplice Caffè", located in the heart of the city. The experience was almost perfect, that's why it definitely deserves a 4.5 star review. Atmosphere and Environment: The "Semplice Caffè" immediately strikes you with its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by simple but refined furnishings, with touches of modernity that create a refined environment. The soft lighting and the tastefully chosen background music help to create a pleasant atmosphere ideal for an aperitif after a long day of work. Service:The staff were impeccable from start to finish. We were greeted with genuine smiles and quick, efficient service. The waiters were extremely attentive to our needs without ever being intrusive. They expertly advised us on the choice of drinks, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu and customer preferences. Food and Drink: As for the food, the aperitif offered by "Semplice Caffè" was a triumph of flavours. We opted for a mixed platter which included a selection of local cheeses, high quality cured meats, bruschetta and fresh vegetables. Every bite was a discovery, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavor combinations. As for drinks, the cocktail list is impressive, with a wide range of classic and innovative options. I tried a Negroni, prepared to perfection with high quality ingredients, while my friends opted for a Spritz and a Martini, both expertly prepared. However, a greater assortment of local wines would have been appreciated to complete the offer. Price: The quality-price ratio is good, especially considering the quality of the products and the level of service. The aperitif for three people resulted in an overall expense that we believe is adequate for the experience offered. However, some dishes on the menu may be a little expensive compared to other similar venues.Conclusion:The "Semplice Caffè" is definitely a place to recommend for those looking for a high-quality aperitif experience in an elegant and relaxing environment. The attention to detail, the attention of the staff and the quality of the food and drinks make it a point of reference in the local scene. We can't wait to return to discover more delicacies on the menu and spend another pleasant evening in this corner of urban paradise.

11/07/2024: Mi sono fermata attratta dal banco/vetrina, molto curato, ordinato e ho consumato la focaccia coi pomodori (la tipica barese!) …veramente eccezionale… gustosa, croccante sotto e saporitissima! Inoltre ci ha servito una commessa (bionda, se ricordo bene) veramente gentilissima e che ci ha proposto anche altri loro prodotti. Mi è rimasta talmente impressa la loro focaccia che l’ho ordinata online e stasera me la mangerò a casa mia a 900km di distanza 😋😋😋 superrr

30/07/2024: Sono stata in questo posto con amici, abbiamo gustato dell'ottima carne, una tagliata che si scioglieva in bocca, delle bombette squisite, per non parlare del fantastico antipasto. Prezzo nella media dell'alto livello della qualita' dei prodotti. Ci tornero' sicuramente

30/07/2024: Sono stato qualche giorno con amici carne ottima ho preso zampina bombette e straccetti infine ho preso una Fiorentina da leccarsi i baffi…servizio impeccabile camerieri sempre con il sorriso e gentili.. Servizio davvero perfetto nell’ attesa della carne antipasti di qualità eccellente Appena arrivati il signor Raffaele ci ha dato davvero tanti consigli e ci ha dato spiegazioni di come viene fatta la carne Da tornarci al più presto…qualità prezzo ottima… Poi mangiare nel centro storico una caratteristica davvero bellissima…

14/02/2024: I purchased two glove boxes of pastries today, and I was disappointed. First of all, they gave me the closed trays and when I opened them, once at home, I realized that they had loaded them with pastries which I hadn't asked for (crushed and messy). Dried babas and pastries to eat with a "spoon". I hadn't been to this pastry shop for about 10 years, and after this experience I definitely won't be going back.

14/02/2024: I ordered a cake for my birthday on Friday 9 February, for 15/17 people, recommending not to use liquor because there were children and above all no exotic fruit but only strawberries and berries as my daughter is allergic to kiwis, pineapples, you eat and other exotic fruits. At the retreat in the evening I found myself with a very small cake and above all decorated with kiwi and pineapple!!!! To my disappointment they responded with superficiality and rudeness! They removed the fruit used for decoration and patched it all up with freshly added strawberries! Obviously my daughter couldn't eat it.. and they didn't even apologize for the big mistake they made.. telling me that kiwi and pineapple are not exotic fruits (even though I had specified not to include them)... never again! Rude, rude and not attentive to the customer!

30/07/2024: Buonasera, sono venuta a mangiare con le mie bimbe e sono celiaca e allergica al latte, non ho ancora finito di mangiare e già sto scrivendo una recensione stra positiva perché oltre ad essere divino ha tutti prodotti senza glutine di qualità buonissima. 21/07/2024: Our experience was horrible..If you could give 0 stars I would give them... Empty place on a Friday night (let's ask ourselves some questions). The nighiri had an unpleasant odor, a sign that the salmon was spoiled. Wakame covered in strange sauces and spices probably to cover the flavor. We were forced to leave the restaurant in a hurry. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

04/08/2024: I advise you to never have an ice coffee. Because they pay their weight in gold for ice 😅 3.60 a coffee with an ice cube. Absurd

20/07/2024: We only had pizza. Pizza completely burnt, you couldn't even fold it, it was so hard. Very little mozzarella.

16/06/2024: Scam I ordered through Just Eat and I was waiting 1 and a half hours, when I called they told me it would be ready within 15 minutes. After calling them back after 20 minutes I was told 40 minutes time. Among other things, he shuts me up when I point out that 2 hours for a pizza is unacceptable. On the call the Just Eat operator told me that they had added another hour to her. I have always respected the work of small venues and businesses and have always left good supportive reviews, but these are to be avoided like the plague and perhaps the nas do some checks and close them

21/07/2024: An excellent assassin and also a good first course (stuffed caskets). This is the summary of a dinner in this restaurant-pub located in the Poggiofranco district. The only flaw in the service: the absence of a menu (undergoing restyling) made it more difficult to choose the courses. As this is a temporary situation, I am sure it will be resolved to allow customers to enjoy a quiet meal in an elegant venue.

04/09/2024: Terrible customer service, they ignore you, they are not attentive and on top of that they don't let you sit in the establishment when you want to eat the ice cream you just bought! Their ice creams may be delicious but the bad service is not worth it!

04/09/2024: Bought some icecream , to bad i bought it from the counter so they not allowed me to use one of their tables wich were in the shade, so long story short when i exited the shop at 35 degrees icecream melted very fast and ended up in the garbage...

31/01/2024: Amazing place with lovely traditional dishes. The owners are very friendly and welcoming . Highly recommended for cocktails , with tables outside in the sun.

02/12/2023: Un tempo si mangiava bene e si pagava poco . Il servizio ora è scadente , cameriere maleducate e arroganti . Ho chiesto rum e invece della solita cioccolata fondente che un tempo arrivava , ho avuto ( dopo richiesta ) una cioccolatino al caffè di pessima qualità . Per non parlare dei prezzi . Credo che si siano montati la testa .
