19/10/2025: There are places that stay in your heart, and this is certainly one of them. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed into a refined, elegant yet authentic and welcoming environment, with a breathtaking view. The view alone is worth the visit, but it's the overall atmosphere that makes everything so special. We began lunch with an exclusive aperitif served on a panoramic balcony, a moment of pure magic: the breeze, the scent of the sea, and the view before our eyes created a perfect balance. From there, we then moved to the veranda to continue our lunch, where every detail was meticulously crafted. The fish, incredibly fresh and impeccably cooked, was the star of the show: simple yet flavorful dishes that spoke of the sea in every bite. The staff, kind and always smiling, made everything even more enjoyable with their discreet attentiveness. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Gabriella, whose availability and attentiveness helped make this experience perfect in every way. And, it must be said, the wonderful company certainly played its part: sharing a place like this with the right people makes it even more special. We'll definitely be back—because some places aren't visited just once, they're relived, each time with the same emotion.

10/10/2025: The sea view is beautiful, the location is perfect but it's not enough on its own, the food is poor, there's a lot of drama and little substance, an experience never to be repeated.

28/06/2025: Well the place is nice but it took me a long time just to get a menu, I'm a 10 year old girl, I went with my mother but the waiting time was huge, I was very hungry, but in the rest the waiters are a bit confused and this bothers me, they came five times but they didn't bring us anything, I put more stars only for the location, for the rest in my opinion, it's an experience to do, I hope it was helpful💓

20/10/2025: I'd say the food is more than good, but the girl serving seems truly unwelcoming. It's clear she knows her stuff professionally, and perhaps experience or personal events have toughened her character; but it's still a public service job, and courtesy remains a strong point of a successful company.

07/12/2025: Rude staff. We came because my mother needed to use the bathroom (and obviously we were also planning on ordering), and when we asked where the bathroom was, the woman at the counter rudely told my mother we needed to get a receipt first. If she'd said it politely and professionally, that would have been fine, but that wasn't the case. Furthermore, there's only one bathroom here, a single unisex one, and in fact the line for that was endless. At least the decaf was very good, but for me, however good it was, it's absolutely not enough to forgive the rude staff and the way my mother was treated for an emergency beyond her control.

06/12/2025: I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! I'm describing our unfortunately NEGATIVE REVIEW, regarding the SERVICE OFFERED at the bar's entrance and specifically the STAFF (or owner) stationed at the entrance, almost as if to "select" the people who entered on a properly busy day, as it was the day of the Christmas tree lighting in Piazza del Ferrarese, where the bar is located. Given that on a busy day like the pre-Christmas holiday of San Nicola, it's right to regulate the flow of people inside the establishment, but certainly not with RESPONSES THAT ARE UNSUITABLE FOR THE PUBLIC; ...in fact, there were four of us, and once the first two friends entered, the other friend and I were stopped at the entrance by a "gentleman" who asked us: "...excuse me, what do you have to do? ...and not maybe since it's a bar, what do you have to "get"... ...my friend politely replied: we'd like to have a coffee...why? ..the "gentleman" at the entrance: one moment, I have to ask inside the bar... ...the "gentleman" at the entrance: guys, can we have another 2 coffees? ...answer from the internal staff (guys): no...the coffee's finished! ...the "gentleman" at the entrance comes back and replies: the coffee's finished!... ...we replied: but anyway, the other two friends have already entered inside... ...the "gentleman" at the entrance: since the "gentleman" at the entrance is "finished" "coffee"...let's avoid too much crowding at the bar! (this with just 10 people inside) At that point I reply: "Excuse me, have you run out of coffee? And with so many coffees served in plain sight at the outside tables...or are you worried about too much crowding at the bar with just 10 people inside?" The fact is that I NEVER RECEIVED AN ANSWER to those questions, and I was even looked at askance, despite the fact that during the entire conversation there had NEVER BEEN A "SORRY" FROM THIS "GENTLEMAN"... ...no comment!! In fact, you comment on a BAR IN THE CITY CENTER WITHOUT COFFEE ON THE DAY OF SAN NICOLA DI BARI, where everyone has always known there is a lot of public attendance, but perhaps I'm thinking because they're now "FULL OF PROFITS" from the aperitifs ordered, from lunch to the multiple hot chocolates served.

30/11/2025: This establishment always has fresh seafood, a variety of dishes, and always something new and exciting to try. The restaurant is located near the sea and the beach. There's a summer terrace. The staff is friendly and communicative, and the service is fast. The quality of the food is commensurate with the price. 👍My top recommendations ❤️

28/11/2025: Nothing good. Nonexistent wine. Fried and grilled food and cold coffee. The only positive aspect is that it's close to the fair where we were visiting.

27/09/2025: Terrible. The place has no air conditioning, no toilet paper, and dry croissants served without plates despite the drinks being served at the table. I won't be returning.

24/09/2025: Good little place to stop for a quick coffee and something small to eat. Very cheap and great location to stop in before exploring the old part of Bari. Service is professional, hospitable and with a smile.

06/10/2025: I had both the piadina and the pizza, both good. The prices are perhaps a little high, but nothing major. The biggest problem is the long wait for home delivery; they NEVER respect the estimated delivery time. This is why it loses a lot of points, since it's mostly a takeaway pizzeria.

09/11/2025: Excellent brewery if you want to try unusual and well-selected beers. Friendly, helpful, and always available.

25/10/2025: We sat down on a Saturday night at 9:45 PM and ordered four pinsas, which arrived after an hour. The wait was excessive, but the quality was average.

20/11/2025: Cold food, I was given change for 6 euros, everything was 10 and 5 cents, very slow service even though there were no people, never again.

03/09/2025: I've been coming to Marina di Castagneto for over 20 years and have never written about this place. I've always been a regular because it has excellent products, but if I had to express an opinion, I would have had to mention the manners, and I didn't want to be negative.... Enough now, unfortunately I have to: empty oven, early September, a thousand different pizzas, the first thing I ask is if they have Margherita. They tell me no, I ask if they're making it and they tell me no (in a half-hearted and rude way). I give up and order more pizzas. As I'm about to leave, the Margherita comes out. I ask, since it's available, if we can have those, and the girl replies, "No, I can't exchange them!", instead of apologizing, since I had specifically asked for the Margherita. I'm about to leave and then she says, "Okay, I'll exchange them for you," as if it were a concession.... I take the pizzas and leave, not without calling them both rude, who instead of serving are acting arrogant behind the counter. I leave and they start laughing. I wonder why they don't stay home if they don't want to work. The staff is unpresentable, rude, and incapable of dealing with the public. The bakery is open during certain hours, then maybe one day they don't open and put up a "Closed Today" sign. What a shame! Excellent products, but a complete inability to run a business professionally. Furthermore, I've seen them use degreaser on the baking sheets—in direct contact with food—without rinsing!!! This business should be put in more capable hands.

20/08/2025: Excellent pizza by the slice; the two clerks are quick and friendly. You can also enjoy their delicacies outside. Their focaccias are legendary, filled with excellent ingredients. Their desserts are also fantastic.
