22/02/2026: We took 2 cappuccinos and 2 americanos to go and they charge us €1 for each cap. We did’t sit outside or anything. Unfriendly stuff. They charge us 12 euros for 4 coffees. Do not go there. It’s a scam! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

20/02/2026: I’m not lying. They sell bus tickets but they gave a wrong direction. The terminal is on the backside of the train along the street of that exact shop then 10mins walk to the platforms. We missed our bus 😞

22/02/2026: A terrible experience in every way. The staff and owner were extremely rude. The quality of the meat is embarrassing: I'm still chewing the Bismarck steak, rubbery and inedible. ​If you book through TheFork, be very careful: the owner keeps a close eye on the clock, and if you exceed the 15-minute time limit, he's ready to cancel your 20% discount with a stern attitude. The bill was also incredibly high, especially considering the meat isn't dry-aged and you can't choose the cut. ​These are unprofessional people who, just to earn an extra €50 in one night, would rather lose customers forever. After all, just reading their reviews is enough to understand their level of professionalism. Stay away.

22/02/2026: The meat is good, but the service is spotty despite the restaurant's attractive appearance (except for the lighting). I find it odd to pay 2.50 for the cover charge but not even change the cutlery between the appetizer and the rest. But the real flaw is the welcome, the customer service, and the courtesy toward guests, all essentially nonexistent. The bill was quite expensive. The answer speaks for itself. Good luck.

03/09/2025: I've been coming to Marina di Castagneto for over 20 years and have never written about this place. I've always been a regular because it has excellent products, but if I had to express an opinion, I would have had to mention the manners, and I didn't want to be negative.... Enough now, unfortunately I have to: empty oven, early September, a thousand different pizzas, the first thing I ask is if they have Margherita. They tell me no, I ask if they're making it and they tell me no (in a half-hearted and rude way). I give up and order more pizzas. As I'm about to leave, the Margherita comes out. I ask, since it's available, if we can have those, and the girl replies, "No, I can't exchange them!", instead of apologizing, since I had specifically asked for the Margherita. I'm about to leave and then she says, "Okay, I'll exchange them for you," as if it were a concession.... I take the pizzas and leave, not without calling them both rude, who instead of serving are acting arrogant behind the counter. I leave and they start laughing. I wonder why they don't stay home if they don't want to work. The staff is unpresentable, rude, and incapable of dealing with the public. The bakery is open during certain hours, then maybe one day they don't open and put up a "Closed Today" sign. What a shame! Excellent products, but a complete inability to run a business professionally. Furthermore, I've seen them use degreaser on the baking sheets—in direct contact with food—without rinsing!!! This business should be put in more capable hands.

20/08/2025: Excellent pizza by the slice; the two clerks are quick and friendly. You can also enjoy their delicacies outside. Their focaccias are legendary, filled with excellent ingredients. Their desserts are also fantastic.

08/03/2026: What can I say...! Exceptional pastry shop and café, specialized staff, and managers Simone and Agnese who make this place the perfect place to lose yourself and delight in the infinite sweetness. Highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth.

10/02/2026: Excellent bar and pastry shop. I recommend the monkfish on Sundays. Customer service is generally excellent.

17/10/2025: A refreshment area inside the shopping mall, perfect not only for a coffee break but also for a snack with friends. Helpful staff, quick service, and reasonable prices.

02/03/2026: I called to order 20 pizzoni for my birthday and received 20 pizzas. I called back to report the mistake and was told, "You never mentioned pizzoni, maybe you said it in your head," in a rude and arrogant manner. I ordered another 5 pizzoni (which I obviously paid in full). Misunderstandings can happen, but the response to me was rude, considering I just wanted to celebrate my birthday in peace, and instead I found myself in a situation where I was "forced" to "calm things down" after the response I was given. You keep saying it was my mistake, when I said pizzoni on the phone, and when I called, there were three other people with me who can confirm what I said. As a customer, I don't see how it was fair for me to intervene to correct your mistake. I repeat, mistakes or misunderstandings can happen, but being accused and receiving rude and aggressive responses over the phone is not okay.

07/01/2026: I wanted to compliment this pizzeria today. It was the first time I've ordered pizza from them, and to say they were excellent, delicious, is truly an understatement. I highly recommend the red pizza with cherry tomato and basil pesto. It's incredibly delicious. I especially want to thank the woman who took the call. Besides being kind and helpful, she also gave me excellent advice. Well done!

03/11/2025: The toilets were dirty, the fish was burnt, and the pasta was cooked carelessly. A real shame. The restaurant's location is a goldmine. Perhaps it was all because it was off-season. They could easily spend a day sprucing up the place so that, given the location, it would be worth stopping by for a drink or two.

30/10/2025: A dream! Wonderful sea view! Delicious food – simple and authentic. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. We'll be back! :)

09/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria, rotisserie, cafe and so on located in the immediate vicinity of the city center 😊 innovative, tidy, tastefully furnished and scrupulously clean location with ample seating both inside and outside 😊 pizzas and panzerotti made with light dough, easily digestible and above all with high-quality ingredients 😉 the very friendly and helpful waiting staff are available to fulfill the most diverse requests of the diners 😉 right value for money 😉 it will be a real pleasure to return ✍ see you soon 🤞

05/03/2026: The worst service in this beautiful city. The waitress was rude and unpleasant, and we refused to eat.

01/03/2026: The starter was fine, but that’s where it ended. The main course was completely bland and tasteless, and there was even a hair in my food. On top of that, people who came after us got their meals before we did. For the price they’re charging, this was absolutely not worth it. Totally disappointing.
