Amazing, to say the least! A typical Osteria that makes you feel at home and introduces you to all the traditional flavors (obviously while chatting with Nicola!) We've eaten here three times and they've always cheered our palates and lifted our spirits :) Not to mention the prices... basically, combining flavors, hospitality, and value (always eating fish) in a 10+ is no easy feat... well, they've succeeded!! WE SUPPORT AUTHENTIC PLACES AND PASSOVERS :)

A local recommended this restaurant to us. We were hesitant at first because it didn't look like much from the exterior but once we entered.... Wowwwwww. Very authentic! Very unique! The food was incredible!!!!!!!! 😋 The service could have been more helpful while we were trying to order..but...we must keep in mind it does not cater to tourists, it's a very local traditional restaurant! We will definitely return here!!!! Bravo

🇮🇹 🇧🇷 Today we had the second opportunity to return to Osteria Travi Buco (Osteria Delle Travi) in Bari. The first time, we were served by Domenico, who was very kind, friendly, and professional. Today we were served by the friendliness and professionalism of Mr. Nicola and the smile of Mr. Nord. I suggest you try the delicious Italian cuisine of this Osteria and be sure to order the antipasto; if you order wine... the meal will be even more complete. 😊🍷😉

On Sundays, for €35, you get a set menu with about ten small dishes (photo attached) as antipasti, followed by a choice of pasta dishes per person (for me, the most incredible seafood pasta of my life). If you still have room, you can also choose a meat or fish dish with a side, followed by dessert (fruit and/or cake). I've never eaten so much (I even had to refuse the second course for fear of wasting food), and the servers are incredibly kind. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2026: Everything was delicious. The only downsides were the muggy heat outside (even though there were fans) and the somewhat slow service, but otherwise everything was excellent. We recommend the rice, potatoes, and mussels, which were truly delicious.
08/08/2026: Excellent! The place is intimate and welcoming, the food is exquisite, with refined ingredients and the catch of the day. The staff is the jewel in the crown of this osteria. Mario, you're amazing!
