01/04/2025: Mistral cafè has been a regular stop for me for years when I pass through Rutigliano. Every time I find the same friendliness and welcome from the owners, always with a smile, who have been committed for 20 years to preparing dishes on the spot with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The place is very large, the menu is varied with tasty proposals. For lovers of porchetta it is the ideal place! The rolls prepared in different ways and tasty are among my favorite dishes and are very good in the sweet version. I absolutely recommend if you want to eat something on the fly or calmly.

15/05/2025: Disastrous! The room was very small and smelled absolutely musty, and the door didn't close properly. I don't mind dogs, but these two weren't a big deal to me. The breakfast was minimal and...

Instead of receiving a professional response such as “Excuse me, I’ll check right away,” I was told in an unkind tone: “Was the order placed here?” — ​​as if providing assistance were a nuisance. I thought it was an isolated incident, but this morning the same thing happened again: another 20 minutes of waiting and, only after going to the bar counter, I was told that “there was a problem with the line.” I pointed out that this happens often in the morning and that there is clearly a lack of communication between the staff. Instead of chatting with colleagues (even while they are working), more attention should be paid to the orders that come in through the app. If you are not able to manage this service efficiently, then it would be better to suspend it. Such a service does not reflect the standards that are expected from a large chain like McDonald’s.

02/06/2025: We arrived and after 20 minutes of sitting the table was still not set, there were no cutlery. Then the first appetizers arrived and there were still no cutlery. Once the cutlery arrived we ordered a bottle of wine that arrived without glasses and we had to wait again for the glasses. We managed to order the first courses, 3 paccheri with red shrimp and a spaghetti alla pescatore. The waiter was against bringing us two different types of first course, he wanted an order with only one type of first course. The 3 paccheri arrived, but they were not with red shrimp, they also had normal shrimp and we had to put the pistachios on the plates ourselves. After 10 minutes of waiting my spaghetti alla pescatore arrived, but it was only with mussels and clams (without shrimp and cuttlefish). I complained about it, and the waiter replied, it doesn't matter, it's good anyway, eat it. I was horrified by the answer and ate it but without wanting to. In short, you don't get what you order and if you complain about it the waiters complain. I highly recommend eating elsewhere. I attach photos of the dishes.

09/06/2025: First of all, I have frequented this place countless times in the past because it was very nice and had an interesting and quality menu. Now it has lost a lot. Both in the service and in the presentation of the place... The interior should definitely be redone (the paint has come off in many places) including the bathroom, whose door seems to be held up with black tape. We are in the center of Bari: I could ignore the price issue, talking about via Sparano, but not on the presentation of the place, I would rather go somewhere else.

09/06/2025: Very nice place, located in one of the main streets of Bari. You can have excellent breakfasts but also lunch or dinner. I often went there for quick breakfasts or for a snack with friends before going to the center. There are several points of sale scattered around the city but this is the one I had a stone's throw from home. I really appreciated the bowl of water for dogs or in any case animals passing by. If there were one everywhere it would be a good thing. Recommended.

02/06/2025: Once upon a time this bar was known for its good ice cream and amazing cream. Today they have gotten a big head: very high price, 1 ice cream 3.20 euros, prepared by improvised girls who, with hands dirty with who knows what, take the cone and fill it with a small dollop of ice cream. And if you politely ask to take the cone with the napkin, they answer you very badly and in an impolite and offensive way. Cross and death on this ice cream shop. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE and only because you can't put ZERO STARS, I give a free star.

30/05/2025: It risks being the best ice cream in Bari, perfect cream and special flavors. I took a wafer with double cream and Kinder and American pecan flavors (don't copy the combo) at the modest price of €3.70. A bit too much, but I fear that prices are reaching this threshold almost everywhere. Very good, I think I'll go back!
