21/08/2025: I posted this review three years ago, but it never got published. I hope it gets published now. HOW TO RUIN A SATURDAY NIGHT BECAUSE OF INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!!! If I could give it zero stars, I would have gladly done so, but unfortunately, Google won't let me. Brief summary: It's Saturday, June 18, 2022, and we're celebrating a friend's birthday. First, we decide to have dinner in Bari's city center and take a walking tour, then go to this place to dance. Unfortunately, I'm on call at work; I'm a nurse, once considered a hero, but after this anecdote, I think the more appropriate term is inept, not hero. Moral of the story: My friends head to this place to celebrate because they had booked the table and the kits, which I had also paid for. We say goodbye, saying that if I finished early, I'd join them. Luckily, I finish at 1:00 PM, and after 20 minutes, I'm already out of the place. But a rude couple at the entrance, a man (a bouncer) and a rather grumpy woman, rudely ask me to leave, punctuated by gratuitous insults. My explanations about why I was there, why I had to get in, and why I was late are useless. In future, I urge you to have the entrance guarded by more competent, but above all, more polite, and more humane people. I will certainly share my Dantesque-like experience with anyone who suggests a dance club to me in the future, so I can avoid yours. Best regards!

06/08/2025: A well-equipped and well-maintained beach resort filled with greenery and typical Puglia plants, a children's pool, and excellent bar and restaurant service. Congratulations!!!!

18/02/2026: For years, it has been impossible to contact the Municipality of Bari, by any means—email, registered mail, or telephone. I am a French citizen, but I was born Italian, and I cannot renew my French documents due to obstructionism by the Municipality of Bari; this is unacceptable.

24/11/2025: Nice and small place, almost a street food in the center of Altamura, in front of the cathedral, they make very good and stuffed sandwiches and piadinas, an extensive menu will help you in your choice, the only thing I didn't like was the uncomfortable seating, on the other hand for the space at their disposal they did their best but there could be improvement

19/04/2026: The Assassina was delicious. We loved the wasabi bombs (beef meatballs with wasabi sauce) and the chicken club sandwich. The vitello tonnato was also good!! We tried their cocktails: I loved the "mandorla," even though it's not a long drink, unfortunately.

18/04/2026: Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails, and great people. The Couch Club is a must-try for anyone looking for a high-end venue in Bari, away from the chaos of the city center. Highly recommended for dinner or after-dinner drinks. Just one note: it's best to book a table or arrive early on weekends, as it's always very popular!

01/03/2026: Overall, it's okay. The food is good quality, but the service was a bit annoying. At one point, they repeatedly asked if we were sure about our order, only to then take our tablets away at 2:45 PM because the kitchen was closing. The place was small, dark, and windowless, and we smelled terrible when we left (even our coats were completely soaked in it). I'm mentioning this because, had we known, we wouldn't have gone.

14/02/2026: I went to Dragon for an all-you-can-eat dinner. They seated us without any problems, and the service was smooth. The sushi is good: fresh dishes, pleasant flavors, and a more than adequate variety. For an AYCE, it's a good choice, especially if you want sushi without too many pretensions but with more than adequate quality.

01/02/2026: The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but you're eating in a typical Apulian farmhouse, after all everything is good and locally sourced. I recommend you stop by to eat locally sourced food and taste typical Apulian products.

07/11/2025: Rustic and welcoming atmosphere, traditional Apulian cuisine, all well-made. The road to the restaurant isn't the best, and there's virtually no signage. Recommended for gatherings with friends and/or family.

10/05/2026: It was clear from the start how things would go. We asked: "Can you make peppered mussels, since it's not on the menu?" The waiter replied with a haughty tone: "Of course it says mussel sauce on the menu." And he started leafing through 20 pages of the menu and found nothing. First embarrassment. We asked for them without tomato, just lemon and parsley... and here is the genius of the chef who doesn't have the time or the inclination to make them without tomato and so he removed all the tomatoes on the surface... except a few... without realizing that the sauce was still red from the tomatoes... a genius who thinks he can fool people. Moreover, one of the three had tomato sauce and arrived white. The crouton-type bread on the side was completely burnt on the crust. In short, total confusion. Mussels were still raw and many of them were closed, a sign of not being fresh. We asked for two Cokes Zero... they arrived upon request after 20 minutes... wrong, instead of the normal Zero; I don't let them change it otherwise I'd wait another 20 minutes. Swordfish, decent, I ask for oil, the response is "it's already there anyway." And what if I wanted more? What crazy responses. A friend of mine ordered paccheri with octopus sauce. Paccheri were undercooked, not al dente, completely undercooked. The response was "it's that type of pasta"; okay, no comment... total disaster.

02/05/2026: Extreme disappointment. Eight of us ordered the house appetizer and scorpionfish calamarata with scorpionfish for the main course. We chose fresh scorpionfish, but unfortunately we found no trace of it in the pasta; there was only some sauce made of some kind of fish.... However, the scorpionfish that arrived for the main course seemed to have been boiled and then put in that strange sauce. The flavor was decidedly awful, and they were raw, making it inedible. Since we were still hungry, we opted for a mixed fried fish dish. Naturally, all we received were frozen calamari rings with an indescribable stench. I should point out that I've always eaten well in Bari, and unfortunately this was an exception. Passion for cooking is lacking here... A piece of advice for the owner: remove the chicken and zucchini from the appetizer; it has nothing to do with it.

01/11/2025: The best fried panzerotti in Bari and the surrounding province. The dough is crisp and chewy, not greasy at all, and best of all, they're large. I've tried various flavors, all delicious and made with top-quality ingredients. The croquettes are delicious too! Fair prices and friendly staff.

09/03/2026: A disappointing experience. €9.40 for two coffees and two small pasticciotti seems out of line. What I find most exaggerated is the cover charge for even a simple coffee consumed at the table, especially considering the tiny table was completely bare. In my opinion, this is truly unfair value for money.

08/03/2026: A pleasant experience, with more than attentive service, and obviously higher-than-average prices considering both the type of venue and the central location. All in all, highly recommended.
