28/01/2025: The restaurant housed in an ancient white stone church and the fine furnishings make the environment very elegant. I gladly returned, even if this last time the kitchen had some defects. I don't understand why the service is so neglected (waiters serving from left and right, men and women without orders, with such difficulty replacing one bottle of wine, among many, that came out badly): a place costing over €150 per head shouldn't have certain flaws. Overall the opinion is good, but I will return in the hope that it was an isolated episode

18/01/2025: We had two amazing, back to back dinners at Lampare. When I was first researching our stay in Trani I overlooked Lampare, thinking it was only for catered events. Let me tell you, if you can manage a visit (or two), do it. It is a beautiful building serving incredible food with the finest of service. For the quality of food and service, I found the prices to be quite reasonable. Both nights we had pasta with fresh lobster that was incredible. I also have to say that the pink grapefruit sorbetto is not to be missed if you are looking for something light and refreshing. It’s only been a couple months since our visit and we are already talking about a return!

17/01/2025: Tutto buonissimo come sempre, i ragazzi sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili per tutto, e se volete assaggiare un cibo veramente buono che sappia descrivere al meglio la tradizione pugliese è il posto giusto !!

15/01/2025: Passing through here on a slightly gloomy day we stopped to eat meatballs. They are very good, with an excellent tomato sauce and at a good price. They only have outside tables so if it's raining you'll find it closed but it's worth a stop if the weather permits.

29/01/2025: This place is halfway between an elegant restaurant and a gourmet restaurant. It has some interesting tricks, but falls short on some important things. An example above all: we ordered the €40 cheese platter, giving priority to this tasting over other dishes (such as appetizers). Out of 8 cheeses listed, there were only 5. We would have expected them to tell us before handing us the plate because we could have made another choice. The dishes in general are varied, with several vegetarian options, but there is still a gap between what they want to be and what they are. For example, lemon tagliolini taste like butter on the nose. Overall, good but not excellent. I hope you take this criticism as constructive. Good work

21/01/2025: Abbiamo acquistato il menu’ degustazione “Fidati di me”..un esperienza di sapori eccellente..i sapori di ogni piatto erano perfettamente bilanciati e la presentazione era bellissima. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. Il personale ha fatto di tutto per rendere memorabile la nostra esperienza culinaria. Sono stati attenti senza essere invadenti. I nostri bicchieri non erano mai vuoti e il cibo è arrivato prontamente! In particolare, il nostro cameriere Antonio era estremamente informato sul menu e ci ha offerto ottimi consigli. Da ripetere!

06/12/2024: Nothing to say about the staff, very kind and polite. But regarding the food, well, I have a lot to say. Everything oily to extreme levels, I understand the fact of the frozen products, I was aware of this, but they were of poor quality. The pizzas yes, beautiful to look at, but the flavor wasn't the best. I took the santa rosa (pizza with salmon and Philadelphia courgettes) it tasted exclusively of courgettes and didn't have that great flavour, nothing else was edible. Furthermore, the prices are exaggerated, too expensive for what you honestly ate, but not for the money, in my opinion if you have to spend it you have to eat well, and here there is a quality-price ratio that is not equivalent to what you expect it is eaten.

28/12/2024: I arrived because it was recommended by a dear friend... well, never before has advice been better to choose a new place, we immediately appreciated the place, beautiful, spacious, tastefully furnished, after all it's a pizzeria, it was me, mine wife, our child, and a couple of our cousins, we took some pasta omelettes, amazing, croquettes split in the middle and seasoned with provola capocollo and tomato, which I tell you to do and chips with peel... the pizzas, 1 margherita and one recommended by the excellent waiter Dino (among other things, a friend of the person who recommended the place to me) with pumpkin cream, cardoncelli and I don't remember what else... 2 split sizes with cherry tomatoes , rocket and parmesan, everything absolutely delicious, the pizza among the 3 best I have ever eaten, omelettes and croquettes the best I have ever eaten, the dessert between cheesecake and babbà, the very, very good cheesecakes, but the dream babbà for flavour, the right impregnation and the very fresh babbà, then at the end the touch of class that I would never have expected in a pizzeria, and this says a lot about the professionalism of those who work and manages this place, my cousin and I asked for 2 Ron, they were served with dark chocolate and here's the touch of class... with 2 glasses of water and ice to "clean" the mouth and better savor the Ron…what can I say, congratulations to them, highly recommended

01/01/2025: A high-level New Year's Eve. Empathetic and friendly welcome, with a dazzling smile from the owner Silvia, who manages a little place overlooking the sea on old Gallipoli together with "her" chef who is superb. All delicious, based on fish or otherwise, with elegant and tasteful recipes. We had a fantastic evening, and at the end he offered us a very good quality prosecco to uncork for 2025. Well done, I recommend it and I don't see myself going back.

The place is large, with many seats, but despite this the service was very fast and attentive. We ate the local appetizer: exceptional and gargantuan! All very abundant and above all delicious! We also had the opportunity to taste the pizzas: excellently leavened and tasty. Our experience was truly positive: very kind staff and quality food. Thank you!
