I stayed at Vecchio Frantoio for a few days while in Laterza for work, and I can say I made a truly excellent choice. The location is beautiful and welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail and perfect for both a relaxing dinner and an evening with friends. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs, making me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The food is truly excellent: you can choose from traditional dishes, pizza, fish, or meat. The menu is comprehensive and suitable for everyone, young and old, with quality options and generous portions. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well and enjoy traditional cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Reservations are appreciated and recommended. I will definitely be back!

Really everything was excellent

We just happened to pop in as a couple. The restaurant is split between people who speak English and those who don't. Even those who don't make an effort to communicate. The vongole, steak, seafood salad, and sausage were all delicious. The vongole had a creamy sauce with a slight acidity that was very tasty. The sausage sauce was also very good. I highly recommend it.

Truly excellent food and location. Above-average quality/price ratio. If you're in the area, it's worth a try. If you're not in the area, it's best to stop by and make a reservation; you'll definitely be satisfied.

A quality restaurant, good food, somewhat rushed service. Unfortunately, since we didn't have a menu, the waiter omitted some dishes we ordered because he saw them being brought to us by neighbors. I ate this spectacular fava bean and chicory dish, which was simply divine.

Wow, an experience you absolutely must have! The food was delicious. We stumbled upon this charming and beautifully decorated restaurant by chance. We had such a great time that we returned again. Everything was delicious, from the tortelli alla Murgia to the mezzo pacchero, but also the sublime appetizers, cooked with love and care. Over the two days we tasted delicious dishes, even the cuts of meat were truly excellent. The prices were excellent for the quality. The staff were truly friendly. What more could we ask for? A gem worth trying!
