08/03/2026: Drawn by the reviews, we decided to try it. The menu was disappointing, with appetizers of cured meats and thinly sliced ​​cheeses. The pumpkin parmigiana was good, but the rest didn't satisfy me. The first course was a canteen-style one, with industrially-made filled pasta. The second courses were poor, with overcooked meat. Finally, the fruit was sliced ​​into thin slices, and the desserts were disappointing, seemingly recycled and thrown on the plate. At €45 per person, I expected more. I didn't experience the flavors you'd expect from a farmhouse restaurant. Furthermore, it was difficult to converse in the restaurant because of the large group (since I'm in the business, I recommend separating the groups). A disappointing experience. The only positive note was the young woman who served us. Too expensive for what we were served.

The cuisine is home-cooked, featuring local specialties. A warm welcome awaits, with fresh mozzarella made by the cheesemaker. Prices are average, and products are available at the shop.

11/03/2026: I organized a business lunch here for a group of people, and we were all more than satisfied. The food was good and plentiful. Giorgio and his team were wonderful and incredibly helpful. If you're passing by, stop in for a drink. It's a shame we didn't have time to enjoy a nice aperitivo!

21/10/2025: Well, let me summarize the story of how a carnivore was amazed by a vegetarian Italian restaurant. First, the impact of the kitchen being open to the tables. Then, being invited to participate in the preparation of the pasta I was about to eat, which Katia, my wife, immediately accepted. But no amount of guidance prepared me for the deliciousness of the starter: a paste of fresh tomatoes, almonds, and spices. It was served with homemade bread. I went to the kitchen to congratulate the chef. Finally, the main course: oricchiette (traditional Puglia pasta) with a cauliflower sauce and Italian-style croutons. Of course, everything was followed by tiramisu. So, once in Italy, after this magnificent meal, I did as the Italians do: I went to the hotel and obeyed my body's greatest desire: I slept.

21/10/2025: A great lunchtime experience at I Primi di Puglia. We were warmly welcomed on the terrace, but as it got busier, we noticed they lost their overview a bit. Fortunately, the food and drinks were served quickly and were delicious. This is the place to go for fresh pasta (they were made a la minute, which you can see inside). After our main courses, it took a while before we were helped back to dessert. But since we were on vacation, this wasn't a problem for us, and we were comfortable. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu (the only thing available at the time) and a delicious, spicy doppio.

12/02/2026: We visited Giacuda Braceria in Palo del Colle and had a truly excellent experience. We started with a selection of spectacular raw fish: the freshest beef carpaccio topped with arugula, parmesan shavings, and a drizzle of olive oil that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. Tender and superior quality. The pancetta served with warm crostini was also excellent, a simple yet perfectly executed combination. We then moved on to the grill... and that's where it really takes things to the next level. Mixed cuts masterfully cooked, juicy, tender meat with that light crust that only a well-done grill can provide. Precise cooking, intense flavor, and top-quality ingredients. A side dish of roasted potatoes, golden on the outside and soft on the inside, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The involtini were also worthy of applause, flavorful and well-balanced. Welcoming place, warm atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. Absolutely fair value for what you get. For those who love authentic grilled meat in the area, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

We had the first course of the day with scampi, mussels, clams, and yellow date tomatoes and were pleasantly surprised. It's not the first time we've been here and we'll definitely be back.
