15/06/2026: The location is simply stunning, in the heart of beautiful Trani. The veranda overlooking the castle is a gem worth the visit alone. Saverio, one of the hosts, was exceptional: he welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, and at the end of the meal, he kindly offered to take us on a tour of the restaurant. We had the pleasure of discovering the upper floor and the terrace, which I already imagine would be extraordinary on a summer evening and which will be the perfect setting for the second tasting menu, which we can't wait to try. Chef Stefano Di Gennaro's cuisine is a true celebration of Puglia and Trani traditions: local ingredients treated with respect, technique, and identity. It was a privilege to meet him in person and congratulate him directly. We will definitely be back.

04/06/2026: What started very strong ended up being a mediocre dinner. Not sure that Michelin got this one right… sea urchin pasta tasted overly fishy- my sea bass was burnt and overcooked and served with greens which tasted frozen. The deserts had an overly fragrance taste.

30/05/2026: A beautiful location in the Noci countryside (use GPS). Ample free parking. Outdoor seating in the garden in summer. Peace and relaxation: the best environment to enjoy food. Excellent service. But above all, Natale: a name that speaks volumes. An experienced chef who carefully selects the ingredients, creating delicious flavor combinations. Super-fresh fish and raw seafood you wouldn't expect in the countryside. A well-stocked wine cellar with fair markups. If you're in the area, perhaps for tourism, avoid the hustle and bustle of crowded and noisy places and seek refuge at "Falco Pellegrino" for an excellent food and wine experience at a fair price.

13/04/2026: An excellent experience in Noci at Al Boschetto. Convenient location and excellent service, with friendly, prompt, and honest staff who warned us about the generous portions. The appetizers are the real highlight: plentiful, varied, and absolutely unmissable, a true immersion in local flavors. The meat is also excellent; the large rib-eye steak is truly spectacular in size, yet still quite thin. Prices are absolutely fair for the excellent quality and abundance offered. It's best to book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.

26/04/2026: April 25, 2026, booked at this educational farm located near Lizzano and adjacent to the famous DUE PALME winery. Plenty of space, a swimming pool, a children's playground, a huge soccer field (or other field), and a designated area for those who want to prepare their own meals or have a picnic, with benches and tables under the olive trees, therefore in the shade, and a series of stations for grilling meat or other dishes. I think there are two options: have everything prepared by the restaurant and they'll let you know when it's ready and you have to go and pick it up, or you can make your own, but obviously buy everything you need from them—sausage, chicken livers, bombette, and more, including drinks—meaning it seems like you can't bring anything from home. We ate inside, a rustic restaurant with wooden tables and chairs. The set menu included a fairly varied and plentiful appetizer, everything was good, followed by a first and second course of meat. They use lemon extensively, for those who like it, creating some unique dishes. As mentioned, the Masseria is attached, adjacent to the Due Palme winery, so we expected a wider selection of wines for those who wanted to go beyond the set menu, but that's not the case, even if the few they did have were still appreciated.

14/05/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of this village, a true "Michelin" discovery. A pleasant setting, a warm welcome, a concise menu, and a 6 or 8-course tasting menu worthy of the finest establishments. Refined, well-conceived, and flavorful, the dishes are original and expertly prepared, offering cuisine that is both authentic and contemporary. In short, we highly recommend it.

17/06/2026: We've had dinner here twice. Everything tastes absolutely delicious.

16/06/2026: Chati (gpt) sent us, so off we went. It's in a small town, far from the tourist crowds. The food is great, the prices are good, the service is excellent, and they even gave us a complimentary rosé and espresso! I highly recommend it... but make a reservation, even during the week, because it gets packed! The tiramisu was amazing!

05/06/2026: A charming inn close to the historic center. We had a very good meal, recommended by the friendly and cheerful staff. You can enjoy traditional Apulian dishes from Altamura. Reasonably priced. Perhaps better than a pizzeria. I recommend ordering the Padre Peppe served at the end of the meal. A surprise. The decor is also very tasteful. I'm very satisfied and will return.

Starting with the food, in addition to offering classic traditional cuisine, this place offers plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. Everything was absolutely tasty and delicious, and the owner is also down-to-earth and very kind. The place is warm and welcoming. Excellent value for money. Vinalia is definitely a place I recommend to anyone.

04/05/2026: Our second visit in a month, again tempted in by the live music. This time a trio playing bossa nova. My starter was advertised as a fried egg and I was intrigued to see how they could make such a humble breakfast item into a restaurant quality dish. They somehow managed to cover it in a crumb coating on a creamy pea puree base with crispy bacon. Excellent. Mary prawns were very good. For main I had a deliciously succulent pork. Mary’s tagliate di manzo (beef) was beautifully pink and tender all the way through.

13/04/2026: Not just a pizzeria but a full menu restaurant. We have dined there several times before. On this occasion we were tempted in by live music. Mary and I shared a couple of starters: prawns with yellow tomato coulis and thinly sliced roast beef. For the main course Mary went for fish with wilted greens and I had ravioli stuffed with chicken served with asparagus. Everything was delicious and clearly cooked freshly to order. An observation – Italian children are well behaved in restaurants because they are introduced to dining out from a very early age. There was a little girl who was clearly enjoying the music.

09/05/2026: We tried the stuffed mussels based on recommendations of the head waiter. It was tasteless and just mega doughy, like polenta. Sea food pasta was just ok. Too bad also no elegant music. Only the decor is really nice. But don't understand such high rating.
