15/03/2026: Your first time at a Michelin-starred restaurant is unforgettable. And indeed, it was a long-awaited, sought-after experience, worth experiencing and sharing as much as possible. It's impossible not to give this experience five stars, for several reasons. The first is the attention and care shown to everything that surrounds you from the moment you enter this splendid stone structure located opposite Trani Castle. This alone would merit my five-star review. The service is meticulously meticulous, not excessive, but very important. The menu and its courses are therefore difficult to describe because they really must be experienced, savored, and understood. There's a blend of Puglian tradition, present throughout the entire gastronomic journey, and gourmet innovation. All the pairings are very balanced. Personally, I really enjoyed, in addition to the homemade bread, the risotto with herring and mackerel with caviar. It's flavorful and excellently balanced. The wine list is very impressive, reflecting a high-quality cellar. Of course, we're in a Michelin-starred restaurant, so the prices are reasonable, but ultimately, you have to remember that you're enjoying a taste experience, not just a simple meal. Congratulations.

We opted for a seafood menu and were impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the bold yet perfectly balanced combinations. ​The courses: The experience began with creative and expert appetizers: the citrus-flavored anchovies and the contrast between the shrimp and passion fruit were spectacular. Honorable mention goes to the porcini-crusted burrata, an explosion of local flavors, and the tender red tuna burger. The salmon with fresh cheese and turnip was also very refined, along with the asparagus rolls and the perfectly cooked white sea bream fillet. ​The highlight was the first course: a homemade pasta dish filled with monkfish, red shrimp, and sea asparagus, all tied together by a delicate yellow cherry tomato sauce. A truly memorable balance of seafood flavors. Desserts: To round things off, the desserts were a true delight. 13/04/2026: An excellent experience in Noci at Al Boschetto. Convenient location and excellent service, with friendly, prompt, and honest staff who warned us about the generous portions. The appetizers are the real highlight: plentiful, varied, and absolutely unmissable, a true immersion in local flavors. The meat is also excellent; the large rib-eye steak is truly spectacular in size, yet still quite thin. Prices are absolutely fair for the excellent quality and abundance offered. It's best to book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.

It's rare to experience such attentive, warm, and yet unobtrusive service. From the very first moment, we felt welcome. The entire team made us feel like regulars – almost like royalty. Everyone was incredibly caring and relaxed, especially with our baby, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The ambiance is harmonious, charming, and perfectly complements the overall experience. And the food? Simply spot on: authentic, creative, and prepared with a deep understanding of true Italian cuisine. We are so grateful for this serendipitous discovery and will definitely be back. 10/04/2026: No, look, let's forget it. An experience to forget, to say the least. A mix of Piedmontese cheeses as an appetizer (but didn't people once eat cheese at the end of a meal in Italy?) and a 10x3x1 cm piece of caramelized pancetta—seriously pricey. All this at a truly outrageous price. P.S. Oh, I forgot: there wasn't even a hint of Salento flavors.

04/05/2026: Our second visit in a month, again tempted in by the live music. This time a trio playing bossa nova. My starter was advertised as a fried egg and I was intrigued to see how they could make such a humble breakfast item into a restaurant quality dish. They somehow managed to cover it in a crumb coating on a creamy pea puree base with crispy bacon. Excellent. Mary prawns were very good. For main I had a deliciously succulent pork. Mary’s tagliate di manzo (beef) was beautifully pink and tender all the way through.

13/04/2026: Not just a pizzeria but a full menu restaurant. We have dined there several times before. On this occasion we were tempted in by live music. Mary and I shared a couple of starters: prawns with yellow tomato coulis and thinly sliced roast beef. For the main course Mary went for fish with wilted greens and I had ravioli stuffed with chicken served with asparagus. Everything was delicious and clearly cooked freshly to order. An observation – Italian children are well behaved in restaurants because they are introduced to dining out from a very early age. There was a little girl who was clearly enjoying the music.

01/05/2026: Lovely place, with very tasty regional dishes. We shared the mixed antipasto, the stuffed artichokes, rabbit and fig gelato. The wines recommended (by the glass) were both very good. Staff were all switched on and very helpful.

29/04/2026: Just wonderful. Cibus really cares about top quality ingredients served simply - the cornerstone of good Italian cooking! The service here is friendly and efficient, and the menu made sure to highlight seasonal ingredients at their best. I ordered the asparagus carbonara followed by the porcetta with fennel and citrus, with married fig ice cream for dessert. All were excellent, and very reasonably priced. Cibus also allowed us to bring our own white wine into the restaurant (we had come straight from a local wine tasting!) which was so appreciated. They kept it cold for us until our dishes arrived - brilliant service! The setting for this restaurant is chic without bring pretentious, instead coming across as welcoming and well-grounded. The surrounding streets are also quiet and very pretty! I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic date night, a celebration with friends and family, or just a treat dinner. Thanks Cibus! ✨

Starting with the food, in addition to offering classic traditional cuisine, this place offers plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. Everything was absolutely tasty and delicious, and the owner is also down-to-earth and very kind. The place is warm and welcoming. Excellent value for money. Vinalia is definitely a place I recommend to anyone.

04/04/2026: A week in Puglia. The only place where we felt ripped off regarding the quality/price ratio of the food. Don't be fooled by the 2018 Michelin star! A limited menu, no choice of any kind, and €38 per person without drinks. You pay tourist prices because of the restaurant's location. The most expensive sausages I've ever had!

09/12/2025: We couldn't have ended the trip better. Gentlemen, what a place, what quality, what cuisine. The best tuna tartare I've ever eaten in my life, and it was simple...just tuna, with no decorations that altered the flavor of the fresh product. The cacio e pepe with shrimp was indescribable, as were the potatoes that accompanied the octopus: yes, simple potatoes that seemed heavenly. We were treated with the utmost professionalism and attention, a truly excellent place. We will return to Brindisi only to return to the Locanda del Porto.

08/12/2025: Everything is delicious. Every time we go, we feel right at home. Fresh food cooked to order. The waiters are very kind, and the owner is welcoming, smiling, and always ready to please. We go often. The menu is extensive, catering to both fish and meat eaters. The prices are fair, even lower than other restaurants. They always have the freshest fish off the menu, with no surprises on the bill. Just walking into this restaurant and being greeted with a smile is a pleasure. We've had the opportunity to try many dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. Reservations are essential, as it's always busy. We're regular customers, and I sincerely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well at a fair price.
