30/05/2025: Bei dem Betreten des Restaurants empfing uns ein dringend lüftungsbedürftiges, miefiges Raumklima. Der Service imponierte durch Hektik, unterschwellige Unfreundlichkeit, wenig italienische Herzlichkeit und gab uns das latente Gefühl, ein „abzuarbeitender Gast“ zu sein. Der arrogant auftretende Maître war im schwarzen Anzug mit Fliege fein gekleidet. Im Gegensatz dazu trug der offensichtliche Inhaber/ Geschäftsführer eine farblich unpassende Schlabberjeans, ein schlechtsitzendes Sakko und ear-pods. Sein Auftreten gegenüber den scheinbar 4 „Anzulernenden“ empfanden wir ebenfalls als unangenehm störend, sodass wir nach einem Gericht, unspektakulärer Qualität, gegangen sind.

11/05/2025: Unfortunately I had to reduce the "stars". We waited for the pizzas for more than an hour, and ate after a table who had arrived and ordered after us. Same thing happened at the table of our acquaintances. The justifications were childish and inconsistent. I am very sorry. But perhaps more to me than to the managers.

10/05/2025: BIG TAKE ON HOMEMADE PASTA! Showing off at the entrance a nice tray of Orecchiette made HANDMADE by a sweet lady in the kitchen, but then you NEED SOMETHING ELSE. I FIND THIS INCORRECT, THEY CAN ONLY MAKE TOURISTS. Sin.

03/05/2025: A nice place, outside of Ruvo di Puglia...excellent, very original menu, dishes created by them were served, very tasty...the dining room is huge and well set...the service was impeccable...lots of agricultural tools in sight, ancient, very interesting...the owners are very welcoming and do everything they can to make customers feel at ease

22/04/2025: A renovated bistro bar with great potential. Places both outside, with umbrellas, and inside. Courteous staff. Possibility to have lunch. Parking space on the street but there is some. Free, not paid. There is no slide for disabled wheelchairs but the pavement is not very high. Good quality of products.

25/05/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner. Location on the sea in a nice environment. We ordered raw fish, 1 cuttlefish (precisely in size of a €1 coin but oh well now everything is justified by saying that they are gourmet dishes for which we must appreciate the misery and be happy to pay their weight in gold) 2 first courses with sea urchins (€30 each, thank you again, in the best restaurants of superior elegance we have never paid this price) 2 first courses with anchovies and bread. Cover charge €4 per person. To make a long story short the dishes were good as usual, we spent €240, oh well they are gourmet dishes so go and pay with a smile. Surely this will be the owners' response, quality has to be paid for, but surely you shouldn't overpay in an unjustified way. To conclude we went back immediately afterwards to buy 2 half-liter bottles of water and not for the extra €3, but it is shameful to pay for them (we all know that the value of 2 bottles is 30 cents total). IT IS KNOWN THAT ELEGANCE IS NOT WATER

25/05/2025: Sehr freundliches Personal, die ruhige und entspannende Musik mit dem Blick auf den Hafen war super zum Erholen und Kraft tanken. Zu unseren Getränken wurden Oliven, Erdnüsse und Kekse gereicht.

15/05/2025: Welcome my dear travellers and taste seekers like me! Do you know when you get that desire, to spend a carefree evening in a Pub?! Then I found it!!! BlackSmith Pub! Wow!!! I absolutely have to go back.... Meanwhile the location will win you over, clean, you will also be won over by the welcome of the owner, a simple guy but worthy of his place. In the kitchen there is a touch of quality with ingredients and aromas, many fantasies that the Chef prepares with mastery. Lastly, gentlemen, the table service, an extraordinarily professional, kind, tidy guy, I'm talking about Fausto! I won't say anything else because only by spending an evening in this Pub will you better understand my words. I recommend it with my eyes closed 🙋🏼‍♀️💋

07/05/2025: Hidden behind the "house entrance", in a very small hamlet of Pezze di Greco... a typical Apulian restaurant, characteristic for its walls, star-shaped ceilings and plaster, with appetizers, first courses, second courses and side dishes, tasty and satisfying for the stomach, guaranteed by the professionalism of the chef, accompanied by the service of the smiling and kind staff... one of my favorite restaurants, where you will never be dissatisfied. Wide selection of bubbles, white rosé and red wines. If you are passing through, stop by. You will be satisfied with everything.

06/05/2025: I was recently in this pizzeria and I must say that the place is really very nice, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent: friendly, helpful and attentive staff, which always makes the difference. The quality of the raw materials is excellent, the attention paid to the choice of ingredients is noticeable. The pizza, however, didn't completely convince me. Maybe we were wrong to choose flavors that were too elaborate - I took the one with mortadella and pistachio - but the dough seemed a little airy and had a slightly rubbery consistency. Probably with simpler flavors you can better appreciate the quality of the dough and the cooking. The dessert however was very good, a truly pleasant surprise that ended the evening in style. Positive note also for the price: decidedly low compared to pizzerias in my area, especially considering the overall quality of the experience.

01/05/2025: We had the best pizza we have ever had - delicious, cooked in an iconic pizza oven. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. If we were in lecce for longer, we would definitely return

29/05/2025: The location is wonderful. Outside a vine covered area surrounded by lemon trees, delicately lit to provide a peaceful ambience. The food was very good. Assisted by explanations offered by the chef it was easy to pick dishes which suited our own individual tastes. One of the priciest in Castro but worth the extra cost. We ate there on our last evening and all agreed that had we ate there earlier in the week we would have revisited

14/05/2025: Top quality food for an affordable price! The biggest recommendation is the phenomenal fish soup (see picture) which is enough for two people to eat. The friendly chef joined us and made the dinner even better - bravo!
