27/07/2025: I was really impressed. The best panzerotti in Puglia. It is made in front of you and it is very fresh. The street is quiet and is perfectly located if you want to eat something and rest from wandering in the city. A lot of choices that can fulfill any taste you want to have. Avoid the carne panzerotti because it is too oily.

20/07/2025: Generous portions and quality ingredients. Excellent service; they immediately offered us local olives and delicious Apulian bread. The lemon and pistachio linguine was delicious (with lots of pistachio, just how I like it).

28/07/2025: Capitate per caso dopo una visita al quartiere delle ceramiche, avremmo voluto tornare anche i giorni successivi se non fossimo state troppo lontane. Da subito abbiamo percepito passione, orgoglio e proattività. Accoglienza ottima, servizio attento e premuroso, piatti con ingredienti locali di qualità, connubio perfetto tra tradizione e innovazione senza stravolgere troppo i sapori per voler creare quell' effetto che diventa poi spesso eccessivo e artefatto. Io in quello che ho mangiato ci ho sentito la terra, la passione e la voglia di stupire con garbo. Una nuova gestione giovane, attenta ai sapori del passato con uno sguardo al presente. Bravi!

27/07/2025: We found it by chance while visiting the historic center of Grottaglie, and it was a great surprise. We had a seafood-based meal: fried fish, warm seafood salad, a mussels with pepper, and meatballs in tomato sauce for our youngest. Everything was excellent, a 10 for the salad, but the other dishes were also top-notch. You can taste the fresh, quality ingredients. The welcome, with a burrata and sun-dried tomato focaccia and a taste of extra virgin olive oil, was much appreciated. Definitely a place I'll return to; I hope they never change.

12/08/2025: Wonderful experience! Fantastic and friendly staff, very elegant setting, but the restaurant is truly the icing on the cake. Delicious food, incredibly fresh fish, and the waiters pamper you. The owner won me over with her professionalism and her way of making you feel at home. Excellent, I'll be back again!

23/07/2025: I discovered this corner of paradise by chance. I'm truly proud of my northern Puglia roots. For years, I've wanted the whole world to know this part of Italy, the Gargano, and all that characterizes it. Oasi di Margherita di Savoia is a paradise, and even more so, among the staff, I met a ray of sunshine: Maria!

Special praise also goes to the waitresses, who, in addition to being beautiful, are always courteous and professional.

27/07/2025: Don't hesitate to step into this charming restaurant, frequented by locals and run by families, nestled in the cool shade of beautiful vaulted ceilings. The menu is typical, prepared just like at home, and served with delicious local wines! Service may be a bit slow, but chi va sano va lantano, and the staff is lovely. All authentic. Affordable prices.

26/07/2025: We were looking for a farmhouse-style venue, a bit rustic yet refined and elegant. We only knew La Vallonea by name; neither we nor our guests had ever been there before. But as soon as we saw it, we immediately fell in love! And, indeed, it was a fantastic wedding! Our guests were all pleasantly surprised by the enchanting location (we also celebrated a civil ceremony in the pine forest, and it was magical), the quality of the food and the refined dishes, the cleanliness of the venue (even the bathrooms, which were constantly cleaned and sanitized until the evening), and the professionalism of the service and the wait staff (tidy and fast, I'd even say at times even too fast, as during lunch we felt a bit like we were racing against time). In short, our guests had fun, ate well, and will have wonderful memories of our day, thanks in part to Tenuta La Vallonea! Which is why we would choose it again countless times! But, if we want to be precise and offer some ideas for further improvement, I'd say flexibility and, at times, transparency need to be reconsidered. Because during the first visit, the one where it's rightly necessary to "capture the client," they were incredibly flexible, yet provided only cursory information. Then, the further we got, right up until the wedding day itself, the more obstacles and inconveniences arose (e.g., a rehearsal lunch organized without due notice and, above all, without letting us try the first courses—we had to choose them literally blind because, according to them, the selection was so vast that it was impossible for us to try everything. It's a shame we didn't even try a single one and weren't spoiled for choice enough to actually justify this omission; undisclosed costs and significantly increased prices for all additional services; unwillingness to have surprise guests perform or friends perform a surprise dance for 3 minutes—again for fear of delaying the service, when in reality by 6:00 PM we were already at the end of our tether; major oversights on previous agreements—we had asked to have the cake cutting by the well because, at our first visit, we had been told it was possible, even though they were pushing for it to be by the pool where they always did it. Lo and behold, this request slipped through the cracks in the notes, and the cake cutting took place where they wanted it and not where we had requested). Needless to say, when justifying oneself became complex, the tendency was to "blame the absentee." In short, in a context of such class and elegance, some attitudes certainly needed improvement to achieve perfection.

La Vallonea isn't just a team of GREAT PROFESSIONALS, it's a big FAMILY that welcomes everyone who interacts with them. We got married a week ago, on July 18, 2025, and it was the best day of my life 💛 A beautiful location surrounded by nature that served as the backdrop for our wonderful civil ceremony, impeccable organization that was extremely attentive not only to us, the newlyweds, but also to the individual requests of our guests, a unique gastronomic journey through the wonders of our land. Angela, a calm, impeccable woman who was attentive to all our requests (even those made a few days before the wedding 🙊😄), her husband Vito, a man who puts passion into everything he does, together they are a very strong team 🩷 Floriana, always available and always with a smile on her face and finally, last but not least, Lorenzo, he was with us every step of the way, every second... and believe me, as a bride, I tell you that it is not at all trivial, indeed, to have a person and an entire staff by your side who understand you with just a look... eeeh guys, STUFF FOR MASTERS 🩷 I would like to be able to express the BEAUTY and SAVOIR-FAIRE of Vallonea in words as much as possible, but there are certain emotions that if you don't experience them, you can't understand. A wedding, besides being the act that encapsulates the love of two people, is also an investment... may those present remember your moment forever, and I can tell you that just a week later, I continue to receive compliments from those who came to our wedding and from those who didn't come and heard from others... what can I say, dear Angela, Vito, Lorenzo, and Floriana, I would give you one star only because the wedding didn't last forever 😂 but I'm only giving you 5, because I can't fit 100 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ You will forever remain in our hearts and the hearts of everyone present at our wedding on July 18, 2025 ❤️ Thank you for everything, YOU ARE NUMBER 1 ❤️

I was blown away by the quality of the dishes: every "small dish" is a discovery, with unconventional flavors. Forget the usual seafood; the variety and selection truly rivals anything else, with the authenticity and warmth of a true fishmonger transformed into a restaurant. The portions are perfect, allowing you to savor several of their "thousand ideas" without feeling overwhelmed, but completely satisfied. And then there's him, the soul of the place: Gigi! 18/08/2025: Food is great but…To bad not a good experience quite a massa production don’t bring your children or a dog loud Italian all over the place… they will shiffer under the table cous of the loudness… (better ask for a table outside for the acoustic is horrible but not in August for you will be crazy for the musquito’s) at least 300 guest can take place every evening so quite commercial and not intimately at all… prices went up also even a picture with Mr butcher himself you have to pay for.
