02/03/2026: Open kitchen, food served in front of the guest, there is no à la carte menu, not because the host is not able to do it but because everything comes from the best that can be given by Valle San Lorenzo, Macelleria Rocco, Forno di Pasquale, strictly land, territory, tradition. If you have an open mind and heart, a happy conviviality will take place.

05/01/2026: Perhaps, as you read, Anthony Bourdain or other more or less well-known figures were there, and they evidently received service commensurate with their visibility. Some friends, ordinary citizens, and I had to wait over an hour and a half for two dishes...with a table service organization that I have no words to describe in its misery.
Not to mention that the table was inadequate for the number of people, so the various small plates of the house appetizer, served all at once, had to be "temporarily parked" by some willing diner and, of course, eaten cold.
I will add nothing more to this painful and unpleasant experience.
04/01/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Delicious meatballs and orecchiette with tomato sauce. Excellent wine list.

02/03/2026: Located in a suburban area but easily accessible. While they don't take reservations, wait times are almost normal; obviously, it can get a bit crowded on Saturdays. What can I say? The staff is polite. Wide selection of pizzas, with new dough options. Normal wait times. Fair prices, good ingredients. On a negative note, the pizzas arrive cold and difficult to cut. I think the preparation times and table service need some rethinking. No good.
01/03/2026: Inexplicable. This isn't my first review, but every time I come back here or am asked what the best pizza is in Taranto and the surrounding area, I choose Uncle Giacomo.
The highest quality and infinite kindness. You are the best.

24/12/2025: We went back today, Christmas Eve, with all the gluten-free options at a reasonable price, especially for us who nowadays spend a lot of money on gluten-free.
Delicious handmade gluten-free taralli, excellent quality products at low prices... so far, our favorite place for gluten-free.

12/09/2025: Beautiful beach, not too many people, quite a few pebbles when you get into the sea... we take deckchairs and a parasol, they insist on sticking us with other couples (smokers) even though there really aren't many people!! Just look at the photos!! The food is good and the prices too for a beach restaurant... to do again
