It was a wonderful discovery in 2022 while driving around Puglia with friends, and after taking a wrong turn and getting lost among the olive trees and identical roads, we ended up in Torchiarolo. We entered Mr. Claudio and Mrs. Giovanna's restaurant and immediately knew it would be an unforgettable experience. Yesterday, returning to Trieste, we made a detour to return to the place we remembered. The food is always excellent, fresh fish cooked to perfection, and the welcome was unique. Catering done seriously and with professionalism is something few can match. Make sure to book, though. Mr. Claudio, a true professional, dedicates himself and his entire energy to his customers, refusing to fill the room to ensure perfection. Thank you Claudio and Giovanna! In Trieste, there's a little piece of you with us, once again!!

08/10/2025: A wood-burning oven, a complete lack of tourists, cutlery, white tablecloths, and all that unnecessary crap. I wouldn't recommend it to Instagram babes, but I wouldn't recommend it to the smart guys.

20/09/2025: Reading the reviews...definitely overrated. Nice atmosphere. Decent appetizers. The tagliolini with squid ink was good. The sirloin Wellington definitely needs a revisit, even though it's already been revisited. Replacing the crust on the sirloin Wellington with pancakes...absolutely not. Mushrooms weren't listed on the menu...for those with allergies or intolerances, it's not fair. The bread was taken away between the appetizer and the main course.

18/09/2025: About a year ago, my partner (now wife) and I had to choose the venue for our wedding. Once we'd chosen, but hadn't confirmed it yet, we were fortunate enough to visit Villa Ciccorosella and immediately fell in love with it. We faced these past months with some of the anxieties that plague future spouses: Will it be a beautiful day? Will people like the venue? Will the food be good? Will the waiters be good? We got married five days ago, and to say everything was perfect wouldn't be an understatement: Paolo (the director), who supported us with the organization over the past few months. A professional and human person, whose experience helped us experience that day and the last month with complete peace of mind; Mimí (the dedicated waiter), who accompanied us every step of the way on this special day. His advice was golden! And finally, all the waiters, with a special mention for Mino, a cheerful person and a true professional. The wedding was unique, unrepeatable, and we are completely satisfied with how it went. Last, but not least, friends and family continue to call us to compliment us on the excellent food. We couldn't have asked for more! If you choose Villa Ciccorosella, you're guaranteed a great experience! Thanks to all the staff and the owner, who also took photos and videos of us that day. A unique location, surrounded by greenery, meticulously maintained, with impeccable service, exceptional staff, and truly, truly excellent food. Our wedding on June 13, 2025, was a special day. The director, Paolo, looked after us and accommodated our every request. Mimì was kind and professional throughout the day. All our guests had a wonderful time, and we continue to receive compliments on our choice even months after the event.

16/09/2025: I cried from the beauty of this place. A disarmingly beautiful farmhouse. I imagined the wedding here, but given how far away it is, it's only a dream. We had a delicious aperitif surrounded by hay bales and trees. What a sweet memory!

15/09/2025: Unmissable. Very particular location, in reality more than a farmhouse it seems like a medieval castle, great professionalism both for the gastronomic service and for the organization of events, I highly recommend it.

18/09/2025: The owner of this restaurant is definitely the one that made the biggest impression on me. He's very hospitable, friendly, and, above all, knows his way around the restaurant business. The food was good, especially the typical dishes, but at a certain point we couldn't stand it anymore because the owner, just to make us try other dishes, served us more dishes than we'd asked for 😅. The dining room staff was very efficient and courteous, except for a few small delays due to the rapidly growing number of customers. The only downside was perhaps the location, as there was very little distance between the tables, and at a certain point we had a hard time talking, but I understand that in those typical places, restaurant spaces are always very limited. I would gladly return, however, and I recommend it especially to those who want to eat typical dishes without spending a fortune... when they brought us the bill, we thought they'd made a mistake!

09/09/2025: Truly amazing restaurant! The service, food, atmosphere - everything was above and beyond. We ended up going this restaurant twice during our short visit in Taranto. We saw people picking up fresh fish they want to eat and it was cooked freshly and your server bring it to the table, show how they clean the fish in front of you and serve the fillet. This was awesome experience. We tried many dishes, everything was on top-notch. The dessert lemon sorbet - it was perfect to clean up your mouth. Highly recommend this restaurant and don’t forget to make a reservation before you go.

07/09/2025: Excellent food and high-quality service. The prices are average for this type of restaurant. The place is a bit dated, but I think they wanted to maintain that style.
