18/10/2025: I booked with The Fork a full 8 days in advance, arrived right on time after traveling 25 km, but was told they had to cancel the reservation because the restaurant was full and that if I wanted I could wait for a table to become available!!! Nothing like this has ever happened in all these years! "Didn't you see the email?".... I checked and in fact they had even had the forethought to notify me AT 8:14 PM, when I was already on my way. Shamelessly mocking a customer in this way (did you assign my table to some "friend"? And why did you only realize the restaurant was full 45 minutes before the reservation and not in the last 8 days?) just because you don't have the skills to properly manage a public place, not feeling the slightest need to apologize for the mix-up or try to fix it in any way, and being rude to potential customers who will obviously give bad reviews and speak even worse of your poor management is definitely not a good calling card. But that's okay, there's no need to be considerate of those who were so eager to spend a couple of hours at your place in peace with friends, convinced they'd eat well and trusting the many positive reviews of those who weren't unfortunate enough to find it "full" despite having made a reservation ages ago.

20/08/2025: A well-designed place where everything is top-notch and the staff is very friendly! The service is excellent and fast, and its location is very strategic, right in the town square and center! Five stars might seem like an understatement! Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve lunch. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were delicious. The dishes weren't the usual mozzarella, cured meats, meatballs, etc., you'll find at other restaurants. Excellent service, and the location was clean and tidy. We'll definitely be back.

17/09/2025: In a sea of tourist traps and overpriced restaurants, this gem truly stands out as the only authentic, local spot with incredible vibes. The service is warm and genuine, thanks to the wonderful gentleman who runs the place, and the atmosphere feels both unique and welcoming. The focaccia is absolutely delicious (and no, it’s not pizza! 😁), making the whole experience feel special, authentic, and pleasantly affordable. A real hidden treasure that I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a genuine local taste.

23/12/2025: Authentic place, refined and spot-on flavors. The bombette on this side are something else!!! Welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant evening, even caught a live show. Young and friendly staff, we had a really good time.

03/01/2026: We were visiting Bari during the Christmas holidays, and the Caffè Portineria offered us a peaceful corner where we could read, enjoy herbal teas, and enjoy a quick, high-quality snack. We spent a few hours in a pleasant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere is full of references to musicians and artists that made us feel at home. Paola was wonderful and attentive, welcoming me and my family with great kindness and helpfulness. Thank you ☺️

31/12/2025: You're sick, you're hundreds of miles from home, you've checked out, and you have to wait until the afternoon to catch the train. It's cold in Bari on December 31st, but suddenly a yellow window appears in front of you. You walk in and immediately realize it's a refuge. Welcoming, warm, human. For three days, nothing you eat seems to want to stay inside you, and when, after a herbal tea, you think the only thing you want is a small plate of plain rice, you let it slip to the counter...and there it is! The best plate of plain rice you've ever eaten, your stomach and your heart thank you. If I ever get back to Bari, I already know where I'll go to be pampered, just like at home, especially since there would have been a few tempting, heartfelt dishes to try... Thank you, and let's hope a thousand concierges spring up in every neighborhood 😉

21/01/2026: L'Antica Locanda in Noci (Ba), I returned after a long time, either due to commitments or because it is always full, I was more than happy, characteristic place, refined, clean, beautiful as it has different areas, very welcoming, all TOP staff, lunch from the appetizer to the dessert coffee and I love everything and I repeat EVERYTHING EXCELLENT, a big COMPLIMENT TO EVERYONE, modest prices, it is 1000% worth it, I recommend it to everyone, I will definitely return, thanks to all of you, you in addition to making the numbers also make the difference, thanks again, F.A.Sgobba

31/01/2026: We had a wonderful meal. Fresh, local produce, cooked to perfection and with elegance. Extensive wine list. Appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, wine. Total for two was about €120, but it was worth it. Experience +++ I'll be back!

28/12/2025: 5 stars because 10 isn't enough. Unbeatable for gluten-free options. We live in Monza, and despite the endless choice in the Milanese hinterland, this place is a must-visit every time we're in Lecce because it's unmatched in terms of variety, flavors, prices, and courtesy. The guys are incredibly kind and helpful, and an honorable mention goes to Lorenzo and his attentiveness to customers. The owner is attentive and always friendly. We highly recommend the fried calzone and the half pizza, which you'd hardly notice if they didn't tell you it's gluten-free. Highly, highly recommended. We don't usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves it.

22/12/2025: Wow, a food and wine experience beyond expectations, with staff service worthy of a 5-star superior luxury hotel. You can enjoy pizzas, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and coffee to finish. We especially thank Andrea, who served and recommended the dessert, which is homemade, as well as Clarissa, who took our order at the table. A special treat is a robot that serves the tables for orders of chips and croquettes. Draft beers, from pale to red. Two rooms, the main one and an internal one, pub-style. The photos speak for themselves. Ample parking outside the restaurant, even in the nearby streets. Thanks, we'll be back.

22/12/2025: A truly enchanting place, with a well-maintained, clean environment and great music that relaxes you and lets you chat. The food is excellent, and the pizza is not only delicious but also light, with an excellent dough. A great value. It's my favorite place, and I bring my friends there every year. Kudos to the entire staff!

13/12/2025: We ate here in Locorotondo and were amazed by the quality and flavors. We chose the aperitif tasting for two and we received many different dishes, all delicious. Santina is a professional and welcoming mother who tries to explain all the dishes to you as best as possible. Everything was delicious and the location was beautiful. Highly recommended!!!

01/11/2025: This establishment offers a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Santina welcomed us with a warm smile and infectious good humor. She offered us an assortment of local specialties, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with a delicious iced coffee with almond milk. The service was very friendly and prompt. The price was very reasonable for the excellent quality of the food.
