21/02/2026: I'm from Emilia and lived in the Naples area for three years. After three years of eating pizza in Naples, the comparison is a bit of a stretch. I have to say, however, that the pizza here is good, and the prices aren't bad either... The service is basic; there's not much seating, it's more of a takeout pizzeria. The staff is very friendly. You have to go between 7:00 and 7:30 PM because then there's a line and you have to wait.

Dishes are made with top-quality local ingredients, and are described clearly and quickly at each course without being boring. The wines are excellent, with the option to purchase bottles from their selection. I chose to buy two bottles of Aglianico Kandèa to accompany the tasting menu. The prices are in line with the quality of the food and the beauty of the dishes. Everything was excellent, but the broken candles with almonds and the cod with gazpacho were incredible! Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: Excellent experience. Meticulous attention to detail, with a beautiful open kitchen. Warm welcome and impeccable service. All the dishes, starting with the fried polenta cubes offered at the start of the meal, were delicious (fried meatballs and fava bean puree with fried octopus were top notch). The dishes were beautifully presented, without unnecessary frills or decorations. The price was perfectly in line with the quality offered.

12/12/2025: We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary with a trip through parts of Italy we had never explored, and in November—well outside typical tourist season—many places were closed. After leaving Sicily, taking a ferry, and driving more than six hours, we stumbled upon the most incredible surprise: Masseria Palombara Relais & Spa. It was 8 PM when we called, hoping they might have a room. Francesca, the General Manager, answered immediately and could not have been more gracious or accommodating. She welcomed us as though she’d been expecting us all along. Within minutes of arriving, we were given a nighttime tour of the property, followed by an unforgettable farm-to-table dinner—authentic, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. Our room was equally special: spacious, beautifully designed, and complete with a lovely working fireplace. Owner Angelo Lippolis and his wife transformed this property into a remarkable adults-only retreat—romantic, serene, and full of character. A special thank-you to Francesca and to Blue, the resident dog, for making us feel so at home. What was meant to be a single night’s stay quickly became three unforgettable ones. As much as we’d love to keep this hidden gem to ourselves, it deserves to be discovered by travellers who appreciate charm, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality. Masseria Palombara Relais & Spa has so much to offer—and we can’t wait to return.

03/11/2025: We stayed for one night in this beautiful Masseria, and what can I say? Everything was impeccable, from the service to the attention to detail. The fireplaces adorning every single room are stunning. The welcome was warm and attentive. I felt pampered from the moment I stepped inside. The food was top-notch, and the breakfast was magnificent, plentiful with both sweet and savory options. In short, an unforgettable stay. Last but not least, the splendid two-hour spa immerses you in a magical world of pampering and relaxation. My rating is 5 stars for everything. An experience worth repeating to fully enjoy the property's many amenities!

Most importantly, they're made fresh, so they're always hot, whether you eat them in or take them home (living a 10-15 minute drive away, I've never had any problems). Definitely worth a try! 🤤👌

The owner and his staff are top-notch, both in their communication skills and their exquisite homemade desserts. I recommend trying it once, and you'll see you'll want to come back again!

02/12/2025: The best dinner I've had in Castro. A decidedly superior level and a different offering than usual. The appetizer mix was EXTRATERRESTRIAL: when I show photos of dishes I've eaten in Puglia, I almost always choose these. Innovative venue, elegant and clean service. The manager is knowledgeable, welcoming, and guided us with professionalism and a smile throughout. Prices in line with the quality of the experience. If I were to return to Castro, I would definitely come back here.
