We had lunch today and I must say that we are fully satisfied. Dishes all produced by them, from bread to dessert. Friendly and helpful owners. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to taste the cuisine of the past in a truly welcoming and rustic place.

This Osteria Contadina in Putignano was a splendid discovery. It is not a large place, but very well looked after. It was once a cellar and now offers an intriguing interpretation of local cuisine. Here tradition and modernity come together, and the dishes are solidly based on products from the connected farm and therefore zero km. We went on a Saturday for lunch and therefore had the pleasure of having a pleasant and constant interaction at the table with the chef, ready to satisfy questions about the ingredients used in the dishes and their origin. The 5-course appetizer is a spectacle, representing a Bignami of the cuisine of the Itria Valley. Then some extraordinary orecchiette made by them - but what can I tell you - (we tried both those with turnip greens and those with mushrooms and wild boar sausage). Zeppoline di San Giuseppe and limoncello. The house red wine is excellent. Definitely an appropriate price, for an experience worth repeating and recommending.

Small but welcoming place. Everything is excellent, starting from the menu, where you can appreciate the typical products, from orecchiette to desserts, prepared directly "from the house". Well managed service with staff attentive to customer needs. The bill is good with an interesting quality/price ratio.

The new management of the restaurant has a word that seems to encapsulate the identity of the restaurant: simplicity. Starting from the location, simple but welcoming, up to the traditional dishes such as broad beans and chicory, bread balls, tripe: simple but delicious dishes. The donkey chop sandwich is superb. The quality of the chosen ingredients can be felt in all dishes. I also recommend trying both the flour ice cream, which turned out to be a real discovery, and the chef's homemade liqueurs. The cost of the menu of the day (30 euros for starter, first course, second course, dessert) is really convenient if you think about the quality and taste of the food served. Congratulations to the chef and the staff, we will definitely see you again very soon.

In occasione del carnevale ci siamo imbattuti in questo caratteristico locale che prima era una cantina. La signora che ci ha accolto ci ha guidato con competenza e gentilezza in un viaggio tra i sapori di una volta. Tagliare di salumi e formaggio, favetta in crema e cicoria di campo ripassata, orecchiette di farro e braciole d'asino, il tutto annaffiato dal vino con la gazzosa .. tutto ottimo! Consigliatissimo
