08/01/2026: We returned to this restaurant after a couple of years, and it didn't disappoint. The dishes we selected were all delicious and carefully prepared, with appropriate portions and quality ingredients. The place is quiet and the service is friendly. It's just a shame the prices are a bit high... €4 for a cover charge, €4 for a 75cl bottle of water, and €3 for a coffee seem a bit excessive.

01/01/2026: We couldn't have asked for a better end-of-year dinner. The service was welcoming, professional, and friendly. The dishes were perfectly presented and excellent in flavor and combinations. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, with some background music. We were able to choose our own pace for the various courses and were able to wait at the table until midnight, greeted with a glass of wine to toast and a taste of cotechino with lentils. What can I say...let's toast to you, thank you for a wonderful evening!

28/12/2025: Welcoming place and super friendly staff. We chose the raw fish menu, which was very good and the portions were generous!! Excellent value for money!!! We'll be back on the 31st 😊👍

05/01/2026: For lunch on January 1st. The service was courteous and prompt despite the swarm of skiers on the ground floor. We ate lunch upstairs in the quiet, warm wooden dining room. Well-prepared traditional dishes and a good selection of cheeses.

12/09/2025: We went with our grandparents and children for a snack a few weeks ago on a fairly cool, rainy day. We asked for hot chocolate, and the staff responded, "But it's summer...". I replied, "I'm in the mountains on a day like that." A snack with kids, summer or not, a hot chocolate is a must. The result? No chocolate. Anyway, we ordered something else, including a coffee and a cappuccino. We paid about €40, and I noticed that the cappuccino was listed as the price on the displayed table at €1.80, which was perfectly fair, and the coffee at €2.00. We pointed out that there might have been a mistake, but we were told that the coffee, which was listed at €1.30 on the displayed table, had been charged at the table service rate. I should point out that we weren't given a menu, and I didn't check to see if one was there, so I can't say whether the price on the menu indicated the €2 coffee price or the table service surcharge. But if you spend 40 euros, do you add 70 cents to the coffee for table service???

10/01/2026: I had a cappuccino, perhaps one of the best in Ossola in terms of quality/price, the staff were courteous and very kind.

19/10/2025: Better to give it a wide berth Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing in several respects. A pork dish we ordered was served undercooked twice. Only on the third attempt was the meat fully cooked – however, the repeated reheating made it dry and unappealing. The children's schnitzels seemed to have been industrially prepared, as they were all identically shaped and very tough. The fish plate consisted of small pieces of fish with a lot of skin and hardly any meat, heavily fried and coated in a thick, floury coating – tasteless. Another dish wasn't even cooked but still appeared on the bill. The staff didn't respond to this with understanding or an apology, but rather with a discussion. The pork, which we complained about, was also charged in full. The portions were small overall. It was obvious that ready-made products were being used; fresh herbs or attractive presentation were nowhere to be found. The service was slow, unfriendly, and made little effort to make the experience pleasant. The owner was present, but he acted hectic and unfriendly, didn't greet us upon entering or leaving the restaurant, and generally didn't give a professional impression. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend it. ... Only the third time around, the meat was cooked perfectly, but due to the repeated heating, it was already dry and tasteless. The cotton fabric for children also has industrial products: it has the same shape and is made to last for a long time. 15/03/2025: A lovely evening with Wally Gators and Juda's Kiss. ​​Before the concert, a delicious pizza and draft beer. The venue has a beautiful stage, designed for live music. Excellent acoustics, and a skilled sound engineer. A casual spot for a lovely evening with friends and good, strictly live music. Very easy to get to, with plenty of parking.

14/02/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday night to hear the band MalaMente. Welcoming environment, friendly and professional staff. I ate the ganassino with mashed potatoes and it was very good, the pizza is also good and digestible. Nice music and fun. Advised
