21/10/2024: Nous avons mangé en terrasse au milieu de la place, les prix sont un peu plus chère que tous les restaurants sur la place juste en dessous mais les trois plats étaient très bons et le service était bien.

03/01/2025: Friendliness of the lady who served us, simple place in the mountains, but we were not satisfied with the food... ravioli with meat sauce (that wasn't bad) overcooked and unfortunately undone and roasted with not very tasty mashed potatoes... price of €25 as a fixed menu

Wir bestellten "nur" einen Caprese- Salat und ein Glas Chianti. Als die freundliche Bedienung servierte, war der "Aufschnitt" von feiner piemonteser Wurst und einer Art Mortadella ohne die üblichen hellen Fettanteile nicht das Bestellte . Die Überraschung:
Die erste Platte war ein mit viel frischem Brot offerierter Apéro !
Auch Wein und das "richtige" Essen waren gut - das Trinkgeld gab ich gern.

Good service with decent food.
Recommended if you also want to eat a quick bite with an excellent view of the lake!

31/03/2025: I called the number indicated to book and found the classic "where to eat in....". The surprise upon arrival. Restaurant closed in Mergozzo and opened in another location. There were no references to this effect and not even the classic sign warning of the move. Not only mine and my wife's surprise, but also a family unit made up of 7 or 8 people with children was surprised upon arrival.

The lady at the counter is kind. The crepe with strawberries is good, it is served on a plastic plate with plastic cutlery.
Overall it's a very decent place, but I don't think it deserves the enthusiastic comments I read.
15/02/2025: proprietario scurrile, ho pagato una crêpes e ci ha mandato a quel paese in modo volgare. tavoli sporchi pochi posti a sedere prezzi alti. se volete andare in una gelateria più affezionata ai clienti senza insultarvi vi consiglio “Il Pastore” sempre a omegna. non vi consiglio ad andarci perché il cameriere è molto maleducato

Excellent fresh clams!
The pizza is good, the dough is digestible and made with Petra flour! I take this opportunity to say that it is cooked in a wood oven resulting in one of the best pizzas in Baveno
Staff who put you in a position to relax as if you were at home.
Very good value for money.
09/12/2024: The food didn't blow me away, but the restaurant and the service were very ok.
